From the 461R/561R Manual: "Tractor Ground Speed-Automatically stops the tractor when the bale starts the wrapping cycle. (Does not automatically start the tractor, that is operator controlled.)” I hope you’re correct, but I worry that the tractor will need to be manually started after the bale kicks out. Build code 3900 does say Baler Automation (Gate Cycle Open/Close + Tractor Start/Stop) which brings hope. Is anyone using baler automation that can weigh in on Tractor Start with an IVT?
I bought one to find out. After bale ejection, forward movement needs to be initiated by the operator, then it quickly accelerates to whatever speed you have set.
How quick will it bale you outta jail?
