I'm so happy I found your channel! I have been binge watching episodes and I love them all especially the Barbie ones. You inspired me to find my old childhood Barbies from the basement and "restore" them. I really didn't have to do much. I washed the dolls and the fashions and conditioned their hair and they are beautiful! My childhood barbies are all from the 80's and bringing them out has brought back so many good memories 🥰 Your videos really bring me so much enjoyment ❤
Thant you for you sweet comment 😘💗💗💗 That makes me extemely happy that you enjoy my videos and they inspired you to get out your old Barbies again. Amazing you still have them and you could easily get them back in shape.💖💖💖 80s Barbies (easpecially early to mid 80s) are so special to me since they are similar enough to the Barbies of my childhood of the 90s (because of the same body and same face molds etc.) but they are just slightly different enough to give me that feeling of an era I missed out on and so they are more special to me in a collector way.
Yes, most often the ponies I spent most time with in terms of restoration are the ones that have the most meaning to me in my collection. Sometimes getting the most minty item and just displaying it on the shelf is rather "boring" 🤣 I totally agree💗
I love your long videos and this one even more because it has a bit of everything! Toyplosion seems like a fair to mark on the calendar. I think I won't miss it next year! I really like everything you bought and those gifts 🤩
Nice haul! I agree with you re: selling online vs. brick & mortar. I'm a collector, not a reseller - so the only items I ever sell are items that I upgraded so I have duplicates, or items that I picked up in a bulk purchase (I've gone with bulk purchases more times than I would like, just to obtain a certain item that was included).
Thanks a lot 🥰 Yes, absolutely. And aquiring some doubles or thinning out a collection is a normal process once you are collecting for a couple of years. Sometimes you just have to get rid of things. That does not make you a re-seller. But online selling is just to nerve wracking to me😝 This instead was a very fun experience. Also exhausting but with a positive undertone 😋💗
Big Jim and Barbie shared a lot of assessories. They even shared the complete Camper. I have the Big Jim Camper. Its the same like yours from Barbie, just in 70s brown colors. They also shared the house, boats, cars and even horses 😊🤓🤠 Oh even Rainbow Brite shared a car with Big Jim and Barbie 😅
Yes, re-used or shared molds in the toy industry are super interesting. I was talking with Finn about the Barbie vs. Big Jim camper earlier at Toyplosion and then later we met again in while toyhunting and then he gifted me the 2 pieces since we had just talked about this earlier. That was cool 😁 I never noticed the Rainbow Brite car was the same mold as a Big Jim car or even a Barbie car. Learned something new 🤩 Thank you💗💗💗
@@satiricalviews Yes, I explained that in the video. But thanks for confirming😉💕 You do that with the 'lipstick'. I did not understand why she would come with the same type of tool twice. The lipstick AND the purple 'hammer' tool. According to another comment, the purple tool came with Ken and he had his color change feature on his hair. Brown to blond. Not sure which of the 2 tools you mean by "wand"🤔 None of them look like a wand to me 😂😂😂
Oh my gosh those earrings and accessories from Lara and Eileen are awesome! 😍😍😍 Dance Magic Barbie! 💕I had her as a child...and just found her with only her dress at a thrift store recently too. She is so lovely. 💖💕💖 I love all your Fairy Tales birds purchases and I actually kind of like the broken one like that. Like you said, she sits so nicely on the shelf. I'm surprised your She-ra figures didn't sell! But now that I think about it, you're right, She-Ra and Golden Girls are sort of somewhere in the middle between girl and boy toy collectors. Too girly for boy toy collectors and not girly enough for the girls. 😅🤔 Beautiful Bows! How exciting you have now completed that pony set! And oh my gosh you got a Snoozer with his little cape. Those are definitely on my wish list! I'm so glad you had a fantastic time at Toyplosion and got to connect with so many other awesome toy collectors and UA-camrs. Great video! 💜💫🍓
Thank you Sugarberry💕💕💕 Oh how awesome you also found Dance Magic Barbie recently😻 she is definitely one of the most beautiful late 80s "ball gown Barbies".💝 I have the feeling with She-ra and Golden Girl most collectors nowadays also grew up with them or are MotU collectors anyways and just extend the line with them. I don't know many other "girls toys collectors" who collect them. And the high prices come from the fact that it is more within the action figure collecting ralm where the prices have exploded where men just like to show off with high prices. The more something is worth, the more proud they are 😬Of course I'm exaggerating but the tendency is there more than with girl toy collectors most often. I cross my fingers for you to also find a Snoozer sooner or later💗💗💗
I'm a huge MLP fan starting from generation one. I personally loved the generation one cartoon. I'd love to run into more generation one things where I am but for some reason they are harder to find where I live. Maybe one of these days! I'd also love to find the My Little Kitty, My Little Puppy, My Little Bunny and the other lines. I always wished that they would have done more with the other animal lines, such a neat idea. Very cool haul! I always enjoy watching your videos.
@@ArtTasticCreations Thank you so much 😊💗💗💗 Yes, G1 ponies are also hard to find at flea markets where I live. Almost impossible. This is all from a toy show. Higher chances there😉
I love Moon Dreamers. I stil have my childhood Dreamgazer but she is missing that plastic disc she wears in her hair. I distinctly remember throwing it away as a little kid because i thought it was some kind of packaging. Did not realise it was clothing !! 😅
Moondreams is very special. But way too short lived. I wish it would have just continued for 1 more year. All the pretty prototypes that were created already😱Awesome you had one of them even as a child. Most collectors I have talked to or written with about them said they don't remember them from childhood. Never knew them back them since they were just not popular enough, not widely known. I believe they were not even sold in Germany. We only had the audio cassette tapes. Oh no 🤣 you threw away part of her outfit😂🥲Funny but also sad. But crazy you still have her👌💯💓 Dreamgazer is one of the dolls I don't even have. I only have her coat/cape😹
That dinosaur is soooooooo cute! I can't believe you dont collect them, they seem up your alley. A dinosaur that looks like it could fit right in with ponies? I did not know that toyline existed.
I love Golden Girl. I have all the characters except the two guys and the chariots. The guys are rather ugly lol. I wish it had a cartoon in the 80s. I bet it would have been super crazy.
Oh yes, I can live without the 2 male figures 🤣🤣🤣 I would only buy them if I find them out in the wild for dirt cheap to complete the line but they look crazy 😂 One of them looks like he could play a part in the Hobbit movies as one of the dwarves 🤣 Do you know one of the commercials of Golden Girl that looks like a cartoon? Extremely cool!!!
Love your videos!!! The pink long "hair tie" you showed with Dance Magic Barbie at 45:48 is the sash that came with Dance Magic Ken! I had gotten it in a lot and had it for so long and didn't know what is was, but finally figured it out recently :)
Thank you so muuuuch😍 Now it all comes together. Someone else commented that the purple "hammer" tool also comes from Dance Magic Ken and not from Barbie (for Kens color changing hair) and when this scarfe thingie also comes from him, that just means at one point there has also been the Dance Magic Ken together with Barbie. Thanks a million😘💕💕💕

I really enjoyed this, such a fun haul!!! I like the long videos, I am able to watch while I am working from home, and it helps my work day go by faster 😋🌺💕 OMG Love the ponies, especially the baby rainbow pony. I definitely would have been excited to find her for $1 / €1. Even though she is a bit bait, she is still in good enough condition to restore nicely🌟🌈 I love the Fairy Tails Birds, I have the ones you ended up getting, but Tattle Tails looks a bit different. The hair on her head is all yellow, was she re-haired? Mine has hair matching her tail, but I actually kind of like the solid yellow.💛🐦 I don't collect the boy toys like the action figures or street sharks, but I love your enthusiasm, and I remember them from my childhood as well. And its so cool to see them. The G2 pony Tender Nuzzles is SO CUTE and I immediately started searching eBay. LoL! I like Orange Blossom! keep making your content so i can revisit this pony utopia. OMG those hairdo ponies are something else. i have a playlist of your translations of the MLP german magazines!
Love it! And the longer the better 😀 I really enjoyed the whole previous toyplosion video! I was also surprised as you said that Barbie stuff where not so much wanted. I would buy a lot of Barbie fashion and dolls as to me it is not something I come across often, everything I got is online. Keep up doing your beautiful job, Lau 🥰🥰
Thanks so much 💖💖💖 Well, over time more and more of the Barbies and Barbie fashions were also bought. It just took some specific Barbie lovers to find our booth. I think "vintage toy collectors" and "doll collectors" are most often different kinds of people. They don't often overlap. And doll collectors have their own doll shows and most likely would not check out a general vintage toy show. And then the other half of the Barbie purchases went to children or moms or dads on Sunday. And I'm not mad about that. Like this some children get to play with some awesome qualitiy Barbies and fashions that otherwise they would not find in the toystores anymore.
@@LauSkypainter Good point! Anyway I'm really happy your sales went so great! I would definitely buy too since you take care of all the details, and your doll make overs are amazing! Lately I was a little bit of thrifting and tried my abilities with doll make overs - just hair, and my first came out quite nice! Honestly, its way more fun than get an expensive perfect doll lol. You and Barbination are my inspiration for that :))))
Awwww~ amazing you had her as a child 🤩 that's so awesome.💗 She is just a couple years before my time. I mean I was already born but as an infant or a 1-year old you don't play with Barbies yet🤣 unless you chew on their hands and feet😂 I cross my fingers for you to find her for you again💕
The Poster are old Cover and Poster art from the german Masters Comics from the 80s (just one you got is not). The 80s Comics are from Ehapa like the 80s My little Pony Comics 🙂 Last year they made books out of them and included these big poster. For every 80s comic they made these poster from the cover and the 80s poster which were in the middle of the old comics. I guess they printed some more now for the toyplosion to promote these books. The artist from the box art for the origins toys is someone else btw. 🙂
I knew you would know more about those 😉 Honestly I forgot to research them. I usually write down everything I can find about the stuff that I show in videos but in big haul vides sometimes things slip through. Ok, but that is even cooler since they are German MotU history in a way.💗💗💗 I also hear from many youtubers now that "we Germans love our MotU" so I guess it was and is especially popular over here. Did not know that. I still think one MotU artist was at this event. But not sure who. I you want to have some of them, just tell me and I can send you some or we make a small trade or whatever ~ haha💖
@@LauSkypainter Oh thats so kind but I bought all the books and so got all Poster with them but thank you that you thought at me for them ❤ Maybe the artist was the one for the box art. He is usually on Conventions and toy shows. His art is amazing too. Yes the MotU history in germany is different. Especially cause of the amazing audio cassettes and comics 🤩
45:30 Ahahaha, it's really a hammer for self defence! Kidding, I have pink one from Hollywood hair Ken, it's an applicator to dip in water and color change 😊
@@LauSkypainter If her male accessory Ken has colour change feature maybe it's his?? Don't know... Maybe they felt inappropriate to put another lipstick in his box. Hammer applicator is more masculine 😆 (it's his, just googled it)
Wow what a haul!! There's so much I almost don't know what to comment on 😅 How nice that you got so many presents, that's so sweet!! I think my favorite item of the haul is the moondreamers snoozer. I have been looking at them online for quite some time now but never found one for a good price. I will definitely buy one some day, they are so wonderful 🤩 I also really liked the moment when you found the G1 rainbow baby in the binnon the ground, that was really how it was like finding G1 ponies at flea markets when I was a kid 🥰
Thank youuuu 😍 Yes, I exactly know what you mean🙈 I know that from watching other people videos in which they showed or found so many good things😹 you can't comment on everything and you have forgotten all the stuff from the beginning of the video again🤣The Snoozer was such a happy find in the end of the show. I can't believe nobody else bought it🤔 I cross my fingers for you to also find one soon🤞💗 Oh yes, the closest thing to a "flea maeket find" was the little Baby Pony🙀 and that almost never happens to me on real flea markets any more.🙈
OMG long video! But also so much amazing things and all the gifts ❤️🥰 wow! You met so many nice people 💖 I will split the video and watch the rest later 😊
I just finished watching the video and OMG how to start 😱😱🤩🤩 I mean all those freebies are already incredible and then the trades 😱😱 and all the things you bought like the Ponys, Barbie cassettes etc. 🤩🤩 this is again an amazing video really cool ☺️💖💕🌸
Toyplosion seems to be such a fun event to visit. ❤ Is that just a german thing or is it even in other countries? You bought the pony Beautiful Bows first of this other seller with the Polly Pocket Plush doll right? And when you found another Beautiful Bows in better condition you bought that one too, what item did you exchange it for or did the seller just gave you your money back? I love your Kitty Surprise, she's so cute and her 2 little babies... I am not into boys toys but I must admit that the shark is really funny!

@@SashaZombie Oooooh, so it does not come from Barbie but from Ken. 🤦🏼♀️ That makes more sence. I did not understand why Barbie would come with essentially the same kinda tool twice. The 'lipstick' does the same trick. So it did not come with Barbie. I guess it's meant to look like a paint brush?
@@lizbond9551 That's difficult since I count 80s and 90s separately. 90s is going to be very childhood nostalgia heavy with Gymnast Barbie, Jewel Hair Mermaid but also Totally Hair and Hollywoodhair Teresa etc. But my fave character is Skipper so Teentime Skipper, Beauty Peageant or Dream Date Skipper are super high on my list. But as I count 80s separately some of my alltime faves are Peaches'n Cream and Dream Glow. And Super Style Barbie is also very high up there 🙈 Top 5 is not possible.😂

Great video, love the star war's doll
Thank you😊💗💗💗 Oh yes, she is stunning💖 I have already unboxed her and she has jound my Star Wars display in my bed room🖤🖤🖤
I had Dance magic Barbie when I was younger!! She is so beautiful.🤩 Would love to have her again.
Awwww~ amazing you had her as a child 🤩 that's so awesome.💗 She is just a couple years before my time. I mean I was already born but as an infant or a 1-year old you don't play with Barbies yet🤣 unless you chew on their hands and feet😂
I cross my fingers for you to find her for you again💕
The Poster are old Cover and Poster art from the german Masters Comics from the 80s (just one you got is not). The 80s Comics are from Ehapa like the 80s My little Pony Comics 🙂
Last year they made books out of them and included these big poster.
Ok, but that is even cooler since they are German MotU history in a way.💗💗💗
I also hear from many youtubers now that "we Germans love our MotU" so I guess it was and is especially popular over here. Did not know that. I still think one MotU artist was at this event. But not sure who.
I you want to have some of them, just tell me and I can send you some or we make a small trade or whatever ~ haha💖
@@LauSkypainter Oh thats so kind but I bought all the books and so got all Poster with them but thank you that you thought at me for them ❤
Maybe the artist was the one for the box art. He is usually on Conventions and toy shows. His art is amazing too.
Yes the MotU history in germany is different. Especially cause of the amazing audio cassettes and comics 🤩
Good timing for me!!! Yay, I can't wait for this haul!❤❤❤
@@nuttybarbiegirl Perfect 😊💕💕💕 By the way~ gold medal again 😂🥇
Have fun watching 🎀🎀🎀
Ohh and those life sized 'Barbie' earrings!! Amazing. Those would be so cool to wear
OMG I love them so much🤩💗🎀💗
45:30 Ahahaha, it's really a hammer for self defence! Kidding, I have pink one from Hollywood hair Ken, it's an applicator to dip in water and color change 😊
@@branimagination hahaha~ 😂😂😂 But I wonder why 2 of these type of things were included ???🤔
Thank youuuu 😍
Yes, I exactly know what you mean🙈 I know that from watching other people videos in which they showed or found so many good things😹 you can't comment on everything and you have forgotten all the stuff from the beginning of the video again🤣The Snoozer was such a happy find in the end of the show.
You met so many nice people 💖
I will split the video and watch the rest later 😊
@@Kirschhh_ Thank youuuuu 😘💋💋💋
I just finished watching the video and OMG how to start 😱😱🤩🤩 I mean all those freebies are already incredible and then the trades 😱😱 and all the things you bought like the Ponys, Barbie cassettes etc. 🤩🤩 this is again an amazing video really cool ☺️💖💕🌸
@@vintagegaudi Thank you very much 😊😊😊 Oh yes, all the gifts 🤯 I'm so grateful 🙏💕💕💕
But I'm also extremely happy with all my purchases 💖💖💖
Toyplosion seems to be such a fun event to visit. ❤ Is that just a german thing or is it even in other countries?
You bought the pony Beautiful Bows first of this other seller with the Polly Pocket Plush doll right?
And when you found another Beautiful Bows in better condition you bought that one too, what item did you exchange it for or did the seller just gave you your money back?
I love your Kitty Surprise, she's so cute and her 2 little babies...
I am not into boys toys but I must admit that the shark is really funny!
Love your t shirt
Thanks~ I needed to wear my G1 Minty t-shirt because I bought a G1 Minty~ haha☘💚🤍💚🤍☘

45:16, the violet "hammer" thingy belongs to Dance Magic Ken. With it (and cold/hot water) you could turn his hair from brown to blond.
@@LauSkypainter might be :) Or a strange hair brush 🤔
@@SashaZombie Oh yeah 😉✌ Also possible. 😁
Ich würde den Regenbogen gleich unter den Bärenkopf hängen, da passt er gut hin.
Klingt nach ner guten Idee 😁✌
This a was fun❤❤❤❤
Thanks a lot 😚💋❤❤❤
Oha, 2 Stunden? Da freue ich mich drauf! 😍
@@NeptuneTwirl Dann ist gut 😉💕💕💕
Der Froggysaurus (oder ist es ein Turtlesaurus?) ist wirklich gewöhnungsbedürftig, passt aber, finde ich, in deine Sammlung.
@@s.f.8867 Froggysaurus passt schon ganz gut 😂🐸🦖
Lau what are your top 5 favourite barbies?
@@lizbond9551 That's difficult since I count 80s and 90s separately. 90s is going to be very childhood nostalgia heavy with Gymnast Barbie, Jewel Hair Mermaid but also Totally Hair and Hollywoodhair Teresa etc. But my fave character is Skipper so Teentime Skipper, Beauty Peageant or Dream Date Skipper are super high on my list. But as I count 80s separately some of my alltime faves are Peaches'n Cream and Dream Glow. And Super Style Barbie is also very high up there 🙈
Top 5 is not possible.😂
Hi - what a great haul! Thanks for sharing. May I kindly ask if you or Cottoncandy Kittens are planning to sell the toys online (Instagram) which haven‘t found new homes yet?
@@chiaraf8104 Thank you~ 💕💕💕
No, I'm sorry. She will have a local option to sell offline (me too) and for the rest I do as I always do. Keep for trades or gifts etc. And I'm considering selling at next year's Toyplosion again. I don't have time and nervs to sell online. I'm sorry. My friend sometimes sells specific things on local adds. Not internationally and not the items you would expect mostly.🤷🏼♀️
I totally get it and understand. Thank You for your kind answer

Aaaah thanks so much☺✌
Holand = netherlands
@@susannakjersem4054 Yes, I know. What I meant is that I don't know if the sticker sheet really comes from the Netherlands or maybe it was just printed there. Does not mean it was sold there.
Just to let you know your video is blurry 😉 It was a little hard to watch sorry
