You can argue about what makes the "top 3" or "top 5" in terms of pioneers, legends, albums, impact, etc. But I've always said on a purist vibe, on setting levels for mic skills on any style of riddim, the greatest grime MCs are Kano and Scorcher.
He’s defo top 5 - he was a key member of the movement. Had war with the best in the scene and had a discography of cold mixtapes e.g leader of the new school and simply the best are my standouts
