I can respect almost everyone’s opinion on this (for or against Cosby)-except for one person; Zoe Kravitz. Nothing against her, but she was an infant in the photo referenced. Not 20+ years older and indoctrinated in “woke culture”.

I don't think that Bill Crosby should have fired Lisa Bonet when she became pregnant. When Phylicia Rashad became pregnant, Cosby made it work for her with not showing any baby bump.
Some of the writers on A Different World wanted to include the pregnancy. Cosby said no. I'm sure that they could do a hide the bump to make her able to continue. But Cosby didn't want that. He and Lisa did not always see eye to eye, that was why she got sent to the spin-off.
Lisa did come back a couple of years later with a husband in the navy and a young stepdaughter.

I don't have a problem with Cosby not writing Lisa's pregnancy into the show.. it would have clashed with the larger vision and mission of the type of show he helped to create and sustain. By the way, your employer has every right to fire you with cause.

That to me speaks more to power struggle than anything. Bill Cosby probably had more respect for Rashad than he did for Bonet. He could wrap his mind around a woman portraying his WIFE being pregnant-because he could frame it as his own doing on the show-but his tv daughter? That would have been completely out of his hands. And he wasn’t having that.

The reason the conviction was overturned though was because (from my understanding), he had given witness testimony where he admitted to a bunch of things in a civil case, where the agreement prior to the testimony being given was that it could not then be used in a criminal case. So legally, they couldn't use that evidence for a criminal case but they did, which is why it was overturned. It's not as if he didn't commit the crimes.

He was pissed that Bonet went and did a crazy Satanic movie with disturbing images during the height of the Cosby show. It affects the show because of how big the show was and how family oriented it was. Cosby was thinking about what’s best for the show. He was playing it smart from a business standpoint.

I always felt that it was strange the way Bill Cosby was obsessed with trashing young black people in the way the way they dressed, spoke, taste in music almost always in a morally superior way. Whenever I see or hear anyone telling other people how they should live whether they are politicians, preachers and television evangelists or celebrities of any type I get very suspicious. My gut reaction is to say what are you trying to cover up about yourself. To me if you are really a good decent person you should not feel the need to advertise it , you should just let your life speak for itself

It doesn't surprise me that many of Cosby's castmates would support him because their knowledge of him is based solely on their time with him doing that show. However, with the exception of Philicia Rashad, none of Cosby's castmates were even alive during the 1960's when he was a young man starring in the TV show I-Spy with Robert Culp. He was a different person in his younger years, and he was particularly known as being a good-looking ladies' man who dated around a lot. Both Cosby and Culp had women in love with them and doing crazy crap like sending them panties, all because their I-Spy characters were sexy and suave. So how anyone can say they don't believe Cosby would have ever capitalized on that, is showing that they know the Cosby from the 80's but not the Cosby from the 60's and 70's.

He practically lived at the Playboy mansion and that’s where a lot of the assaults took place. First off she broke her contract when she got pregnant. And second those women knew what they were doing when they were with Cosby. They were groupies. They wanted to be famous and Cosby was very popular, so they wanted to sleep with him. But when they didn’t get famous and they had no money, they decided to put the false allegations on him while he’s old and week. I mean why would these girls show pictures of them selves when they were young. That is suspicious. I mean they wanted what happened in that room and they turned him into a criminal. Lisa should shhhhh. So glad that he got the support of the other cast from his show

Without police reports or medical records a victim can't be identified with a legal charge.
Statute laws can't dictate that a crime was committed with limitations
A motive of money, with civil lawsuits, without limitations, with a promise not to prosecute,
can't be used in a criminal trial,
      with the point, that there
statute of limitation laws, attached to a criminal trial
      It's a contradiction of fact.
Legally obtained quaaludes, banned on the world market, in 1991, without official records,
is an intention to use them,
It can't be an admission of guilt.
Women of alleged consensual alleged non consensual returns,
      can't explain deviant predator behavior
The supreme court can't overturn a verdict on a technicality it's the highest ruling.
Where was anyone, when this didn't happen ??

      It doesn't explain,
that there are no police reports or medical records to identify a victim with a legal charge
If it isn't rape what is it?
Sixty women with names that aren't remembered!
      Identify by a number;
      Please!!
      Victims aren't digits
A victim is an individual, with rights!
Not a. mob mentality or a movement
Statute laws can't identify a victim suspect or a legal charge
Victims don't announce themselves to social media,
      It's a trauma , a psychological trigger.
It can't be an opinion/ comment
      or amateur psychology
Without being a violation of rights !!
