I still think The Cosby Show was the best family sitcom ever and Phylicia is just the best TV mother ever. Came here after her work on Creed 2. Just class.
Thank you for your role in The Cosby Show. I still watch it with my children. You were such a lovely role model for mothers and how to teach people how to treat us.
@daniela sabransky Exactly. She truly is. Even the pronunciation of her name is elegant, as she. She is more than beautiful, and I see you have covered many of the words that I wanted to say to describe her.
She wasn't correcting her. The name of the lady giving the interview is Felicia. She was introducing herself. At the very end, Phylicia thanks her saying, "Thank you, Felicia"
I love and RESPECT her.❤ She was GORGEOUS BACK IN THE DAY!!!!😲😍 And today she still killing it! She has AMAZING strong values and morals. I hope one day I get the opportunity to meet her and give her a big hug. ❤ Claire Huxtable is the best!
She has always exuded class, grace and beauty, so well spoken, precise and refined. Forever my favorite TV mom, The Cosby Show has got to be the best comedy on TV of all time. I loved it!
This woman is a blessing to the world. Her words are finely chosen. Her thoughts clear and distinct and rich in an extraordinary intelligence. I think it's ìamazing that people like her still exist and continue to give certain pearls of wisdom.
I know there were predominantly black characters on A Different World and the Cosby show, but those of us who grew up watching those shows didn't think about their race while watching them. Dr. Huxtable's humor was exactly like my dad. The kids were a lot like all of us in high school and college no matter our color. They were both just really great sitcoms. I wish TV would return to shows like these.
"A standard of beauty, class, and grace...." I have LONG said the very same thing about this precious lady. We are "more alike" because we are ONE human family. All too often interviewers are classless muckrakers looking to twist and distort honest words into so much tawdry trash. She's had a lifetime in the business and she will be nobody's fool to use against a proud legacy or people she loves and cares about. She makes this firmly clear in her graceful correction of the interviewer at the top of this piece. She's on guard, to be sure, but she is always the picture of elegance, grace, class, beauty, and dignity. It is equally clear she will, if need be, strongly and decisively handle anyone who tries to deal dishonestly with her. I imagine she is very selective to whom she will speak and when. She's an American Treasure! Much respect to this lovely lady.
She is the most beautiful woman to ever occupy this earth, and with the grace and poise to go with it. Such an amazing person!! My bucket list entails hopefully seeing this wonder in person!
I was so enamored with her as a child...it was the 80's and she was one of the black tv mom's that was well educated, beautiful , elegant, and everything a girl could want in a mother. I just realized as a grown woman we are both Gemini's..my birthday is June 14th. Her expressive eyes speak before she does lol. I am 44 and still love her and her sis Debbie Allen ❤
The Queen-Mother! I could LITERALLY listen to her speak all day! I move for a Phylicia Rashad ASMR series. Or maybe just a book narrated by her! I love her!
GOD BLESS PHYLICIA RASHAD, BECAUSE SHE STILL BEAUTIFUL, SO ELEGANT AND VERY INTRIGUING KNOWLEDGEABLE SPEAKER. WE MISSING HER ON SOME 📺 SHOW BUT THE COSBY 👪SHOW IS THE GREATEST 👪 📺 SHOW EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER SHOWN. BEST OF THE REST 👪 ON 📺 BESIDE OOPS... NONE.
Misleading title; she didn't "open up" about the show at all. In fact she repeated the same thing, word for word, that she said in previous interviews.
I do understand why the Cosby Show means so much to so many people, including the Black community. But she defended Cosby at the time and said the destruction of his legacy was more important than the women who came forward, and it's unfortunate and perhaps telling that she won't address how she feels about it now. As much as I loved the show myself at the time and can understand why others loved it, even needed it, I can't elevate the importance of a sitcom above the importance of dozens of women's lives.
From what men tell me these days tern boys had a crush on both of them. 😂😂 Even my male friends want a wife like her and I'm 27 years old. Lol She's timeless.
Mrs. Rashad is not only a award winning actress, she is an educator, teaching Humanity to all. A great human being so humble yet so great. Wish I can get a lit bit of that.
Every time the interviewer complimented Miss Rashad, I kept waiting for her to at least say thank you. She seemed cold and a bit dismissive of the young lady's admiration.
@Gadd Ovame Nah. Theres an underlying understanding among black people when communicating. The interviewer (I think her name is Felicia) I think, knows her place and understands the significant impact and greatness of the woman she’s interviewing. Although Mrs. Phylicia closed out the interview with a graceful “Thank You”, the mere fact that she engaged the interviewer was thanks enough. The Cosby Show was the single most globally transformative television series for black people of this era.
I have watched h that episode many times. Let me guess. you went to Delaware and had donuts while your friends brother car being stripped and stolen. Lol.
She is Beautiful, but seems so so Grand! Why? She is just an Actress. Funny. Has some grand features. I imagine she might be impossible to live with. 😊😘
She's actually more than an actress, she has other titles under her belt. Even if she was just an actress she's regarded as one of the greatest actresses and entertainers of all time so yea that would make her grand. But aside from the accolades, she has high self esteem as any woman should. So that makes her even more "grand". 😊
I have not seen her act any better than on the Cosby show. She is always playing a “tv mom” like you said. Sad she played with Bill Cosby, who took advantage of so many woman sexually! 🥴 I hope that won’t be held against her, or make her be forgotten.
I still think The Cosby Show was the best family sitcom ever and Phylicia is just the best TV mother ever. Came here after her work on Creed 2. Just class.
I like how she gracefully checked the host too, "Thank you Phyliiiiicia."
Thank you for your role in The Cosby Show. I still watch it with my children. You were such a lovely role model for mothers and how to teach people how to treat us.
I like her since I saw her for the first time on "The Cosby Show". She's elegent, lovely, smart and poweful.
@daniela sabransky Exactly. She truly is. Even the pronunciation of her name is elegant, as she. She is more than beautiful, and I see you have covered many of the words that I wanted to say to describe her.
The way she corrected her so smoothly in the beginning 😩
She wasn't correcting her. The name of the lady giving the interview is Felicia. She was introducing herself. At the very end, Phylicia thanks her saying, "Thank you, Felicia"
Lmao the interviewer name is Felicia lol. I guess that’s why you thought it was smooth
@@KG-cz3ni yes she was
I love her so much. My mom didn't pay much attention to me so I attached myself to TV moms (and dads). Mrs. Huxtable was a mom to me. ❤
Phylicia has aged well. She is so Regal.
Phylicia is so regal eagle 🦅
She will always age well a true goddess♥️♥️♥️

I love and RESPECT her.❤ She was GORGEOUS BACK IN THE DAY!!!!😲😍 And today she still killing it! She has AMAZING strong values and morals. I hope one day I get the opportunity to meet her and give her a big hug. ❤ Claire Huxtable is the best!
Loved what she said at the end: people are much more alike, than they could ever be different. Beautiful❤
Her diction is still just as beautiful. 💗
Dear Ms. Phylicia and Mr. Cosby, THANK YOU!!
She has always exuded class, grace and beauty, so well spoken, precise and refined. Forever my favorite TV mom, The Cosby Show has got to be the best comedy on TV of all time. I loved it!
2:53 in the incredible Miss Huxtable look LOL🤣🤣
Noble and elegant like ever.

She is a real one. Not too many people out there these days as real as Mrs. Rashad.
She is the most beautiful woman to ever occupy this earth, and with the grace and poise to go with it. Such an amazing person!! My bucket list entails hopefully seeing this wonder in person!
Phylicia is a great lady, actress, director and teacher. God bless her.
Just love the Cosby Show!! Thank for your goodness!
She's so classy, I love it
elegance and class Phylicia Rashad is truly inspiring!
Just beautiful, I love her and the Cosby show
This woman has not aged! Wow! She is indeed a regal woman.
People have to understand The Cosby show was to TV as Michael Jackson was to the thriller album. Both were very iconic
That thriller album was and is one of the great works ever put together...
I absolutely love Phylicia Rashad, she’s the definition of class. An extraordinary woman and the greatest TV mom ever played.
The story about Nelson Mandela's thoughts on The Cosby Show, that was amazing indeed.
She is still so beautiful, classy and elegant!
I know the interviewer was sooo inspired!
Love Love Love her! 💕
She played with Bill Cosby in another show it was funny excellent in her roles

That was amazing what she said about Nelson Mandela. Wow. She looks great! ~~Jesus is the only Way, Truth, and Life~~

Lovely to hear about that my Former President, Nelson Mandela. On racial issues, we share so many similarities. I love my South Africa ❤❤❤

Mrs. Rashad is not only a award winning actress, she is an educator, teaching Humanity to all. A great human being so humble yet so great. Wish I can get a lit bit of that.
No matter how old Phylisia gets, she will be beautiful
There is not a woman out there that is classier than her.
i love Mrs Rashadh
Someone pointed out "why didn't the cast member ever move on from the Cosby show?"
Her voice is soothing.....
Every time the interviewer complimented Miss Rashad, I kept waiting for her to at least say thank you. She seemed cold and a bit dismissive of the young lady's admiration.
Gadd Ovame yes how old miss phylicia?
I see what you are saying. I think she hears this regularly, she's probably use to it now. I think she can be very warm or cold, depends on her mood
I would agree Gadd

*She says THANK YOU at the **2:47** mark, then explained how her mother said that she doesn't see herself the way others see her..*

I jusy love and pray for you!!💖
This interviewer is too oozy and fawning to talk to someone like Ms Rashad.
An awesome play
Nice
I'll pronounce "Phylicia" my way.
She aged like wine damn
The mystery of the Cosby show was that it was about parenting, white and black, be a parent.
Beautiful lady
Listen elvin
i love u aunt
I feel like it's impossible for anyone to fuck with her. She will destroy anyone that tries...
Click bait. She didn't open up about anything and the host did nothing but flatter her with compliments.
She did open up to the extent SHE WANTED TO. You just wanted to here her address the negativity surrounding Bill.
Most sycophantic, fawning interview ever.
I always thought her name was bye phylicia but it’s not she has a beautiful name
She is Beautiful, but seems so so Grand! Why? She is just an Actress. Funny. Has some grand features. I imagine she might be impossible to live with. 😊😘
