Love the unique look you went for here; very cool! Gives it all a very 'strange derelict sci-fi lighting' vibe that feels very appropriate. Will definitely be giving this a try for my set.
I've seen some amount of 'get a great effect quickly' videos on this terrain, and this is the only one I've seen that actually looks great. Great balance of strong outcome and comparatively small effort. I think your first instinct was correct with the green. I know there are some areas where the bottom of the walls are purple l, but where it shows through the colour combo of the dark teal and pink is wonderful! I think a simple gradient of purple through pink wouldn't have looked so striking.
This is great, I'm painting up boarding action terrain for my local club and I'm using this method (don't have an airbrush but it's turned out well). I did mine black, then dry brush of echin grey. Then mostly the same method as you do all the way. Apart from the airbrush bit I do highlight the lights with a normal brush
Hey Mate, great video. Amazing content and definitely filled me with the courage to tackle my grey... I just wanted to reach out and say that you've really up'ed you game and this video is lightyears ahead of the prep'ing video only a few months ago. Great work and look forward to more videos
This gave me a pretty good idea of how I want to approach mine. The pink feels a little too stylistic for me, so I think I am going to go for more of an emergency lamp red in most spots.
This video is amazing and your final results are pretty stunning. I hate using my airbrush, but now I'm tempted to use it to paint my Kill Team terrain much faster. You should check out Minitaire Ghost Tint paints by Badger. They can do similar lighting effects that you used with only two colors. I will probably try to use them to create similar effects to what you did. Thanks for the inspiration.
Pardon my “old eyes”. I can’t see the close up details as you worked in your video. If you could do close up shot of the results when you have used each color that would be great! We can then see the details of the effect you described as you worked. Just a suggestion. Your video has given me good ideas to try on my set. I still have both sets in their boxes. Partly cos I haven’t really found a paint scheme/idea I liked and partly wanting to do them together to keep the paint effect consistent with both sets. I’m leaning greatly to do them like your video now. Thank you! 😁
I haven’t gotten decals yet, but there’s a person I’ve heard of around here called scumb4g kustoms that makes decals. Haven’t actually met them yet, but I’d more than likely consider. Thanks for watching and good luck with your projects.
Great angles and camera work
Thank you for using an interesting colour scheme, it's been a nightmare just trying to decide what colours to use haha, your terrain looks amazing.

Thank you for sharing! This looks AWESOME!
This is amazing looking! I think I will change it up and go with that old industrial yellow lighting instead for mine.
Excellent work and demo! Thank you. Got a pretty good idea for mine now.
Thanks for watching and good luck with your projects.
This terrain is looking awesome!
I appreciate you taking the time to watch. Thank you and good luck with your projects.

Love the Pink. Great work.
Thanks for watching and happy holidays.
Pink is a brillant idea. Very cool set.
Always liked the live house/music venue lights, used it as an influence to replicate. Thanks for watching and happy hobbying.

Emergency lamps sounds like a great idea, realistic too! Thanks for watching and good luck with your project.

Thanks for the suggestion, I’ll keep that in mind in future videos. Thanks for watching and have fun with your projects!
Great stuff. Thanks for sharing your process. Like @pvrhye, I think it will definitely help me with my upcoming Soulshackle build. Cheers!
Absolutely mega. Do you think this could be achieved without an air brush?
Absolutely, you definitely could achieve something like this (possibly quicker) with dry brushing or very patiently layering with brush work.
Did you end up getting decals? If so, where? I tried painting designs and while they’re not terrible, I definitely feel like decals would work better

Looks copl!
