My ex-husbands father told me their house blueprint in Mt. Pleasant, SC was drawn by a man whom studied under Frank Lloyd Wright. Was an interesting house. I visited this museum once. Loved it.

This amazing structure is a cylindrical building that is wider at the top than the bottom. The ramp extends in a long continuous spiral to end under the ceiling skylight.

It looks and seems as if the architect is not a fan of Wright as much as I would believe an architect historian would be. He was and is brilliant. I can not imagine why one would not be fascinated by his works.

I wish he could have lived to see the opening of the place.

Steven "Zoo-khur". 🤭 I'm still surprised! Love hearing you two speak. Dr. Zucker has that smooth but quick speech, whereas Dr. Postal... makes me think of New Jersey, lol.
I've never seen this building and love the shape of it - I thought of telescopes, which was confirmed when I saw the top of it. It's absolutely gorgeous on the inside too. I'd love to see it live someday.
"It's one thing to have these ideas, it's another thing to execute it."
Pretty sure that's in the holy grail of project management somewhere...
I feel the museum's aesthetic should contribute to the experience, but with subtlety.

Definitely would want to go inside if I ever get back to New York, probably would be my number one priority. In my ignorant opinion has held up extremely well; futuristic and probing without being outlandishly ostentatious or frivolous.

Looking at the form,it resembles a “Lingam of God Shiv”,which gives inspiration.
