What character? Are you in a D&D campaign? For me, this song makes me think of my friend's Curse of Strahd character. My friend plays a vampire named Alexander Von Roeyen who is the second brother to Count Strahd Von Zarovich and forgotten prince of Barovia. Recently he has taken it upon himself to protect my character (a half elf cleric princess and heir to Neverwinter) from the Count, who at this point, wants the princess dead. Alexander has a vested interest in keeping the princess alive because she is the key to a prophecy as well as her political standing being important for securing an alliance with Neverwinter. To add to the drama both characters have strong feelings for each other and make a great team.
This song reminds me of my headmate, Melt. It's inspiring and really strikes a chord with both of us, especially since we're such a small system we feel a little bit caught between being plural, but not plural enough to really fit in plural spaces. We've spent a lot of our life having no one to rely on but each other and even now we still find it hard to trust, especially me. She's a little better at it haha
But yeah this is "our song" as they say XD
