Hi Lee, it was a good day don't get me wrong with 100s of games for mainly xbox ps2s Nes n64 etc. One stall for C64 and speccy which was a bit pricey, I tried haggling with him, but was pretty rude I thought and glad I bought nothing off his stall. There was another with a few speccy games, and wii stuff, haggled these and got a game a fiver off, and a few others. It's nice to have a look around a convention or two, but honestly it makes me sick to see the prices. Then to know that prices are only inflated to where they are, because of the gluttonous behavior of the resellers, who just do happen to be the ones asking too much for the stuff! 😅 I had to say it.. After wanting these events to come to the NE, i cant help feel that Newcastle/Gateshead event seem to be bog standard compared to the other events they host in Leeds, Norwich n Doncaster (judging by other youtubers vids) Agreed with you on the prices and only picked up 5 items meself. For £6 for the day is reasonable and decent

I was at the Leeds market and was pretty disappointed at the selection, either the games were way overpriced or the conditions were not up to my standards to merit handing my cash over. I ended up leaving with just a bunch of generic stuff. I was asking the woman behind one of the stalls if i could get several PS2 games that came to £55 for £50, she went up to the owner and went "NOOO" to her with a face that looked as if it had a smacked bum. I would have probably left them if i was dealing with him directly. I'm not saying they should be obligated in giving me a discount but i seriously think some of these traders need to learn basic good customer service and that haggling will come as part of these markets.
