Ah. So the Scott brothers are musicians AND comedians. Well, more the former than the latter. Don’t give up your “day jobs” as musicians. The comedy, while charming, probably won’t pay the bills. The music you produce is truly priceless. And that’s no joke! Thanks to you both.
I love these trips! It's like I'm standing next to you, watching your actions! And they are also very relaxing and fun! You two are amazing! Thank you both for sharing such pleasant moments!
These videos are a delight! No one knows more than the two of you how much goes in to these concerts, and what it takes to make a living providing entertaining music for others. I've nothing but the greatest admiration for you, Jonathan and Tom. Bravo!
Being in the US I have to thank you for a glimpse of the lovely English countryside that I wouldn’t have gotten to appreciate otherwise. As always, great music, great banter (facts!), and a pleasure to tag along.
So wonderful to see you two brothers doing what you do together. I have two sons and pray they will be together, supporting each other just like you do. Thank you for a lovely, informative program.
You two have combined artistry, performance talent, and clever banter into superb online presentations that I always look forward to watching and hearing.
An interesting and useful multi-teaser! James Herriot provided an interesting WW2 perspective of the Grand Hotel, which was commandeered for the duration by the Air Force and used as accommodation for trainees -- some genius decreed that to prevent us from getting soft, the windows were nailed open to allow entry of every howling wind . . . !
I studied at the University Manchester 2010 to 2014. I wish I got to hear Jonathan at the Bridgewater hall or meet them in person. I am such a fan of Organ music. I am classically trained on the Piano but I wish I could learn the organ from them. it's always fun watching their videos.
I absolutely loved this video; it's nice to see such a relaxed and informal side to you both! Thank you very much for sharing your tour with us. As an American in the new country, it is also a treat to see so many ancient churches. (And I know where you're going next! It's Singapore.)
I can't tell you how MUCH I LOVE these! It's such a pleasure to hear your banter, 'facts', and narrations, and see the charming churches, halls, and cities you visit. I always wish you could linger a bit longer at each stop, but I try to soak in every detail that you give. How nice that you personally take each CD order to the post office (or box?)! Maybe I'll give you some exercise soon! Thanks to you both for these delightful v-logs! 😺😺🎹🎹🎵🎵
Wonderful thanks Tom and Jonathan. That Blüthner grand piano Tom played in Scarborough must date from the 1920's as I imagine it was bought new when the Methodist Central Hall was built and opened which as you noted is 100 yrs old this year. Amazing to see it still playing away.
My day always turns out better when the little "bell icon" tells me that you've posted yet another fabulous video, and this one was no exception. Thanks for the fun. xx Oh, the "I'm late" also "down the hole" references were cute. I haven't a "clue" as to where you're off to next - sorry, my sun-dial only works half the time. Did I hear a mouse squeaking in the piano? xx
Grappenhall was my father's birthplace, he was Verger there for a while, and during his time there the organ became a crazy 4-manual! The organist was a Mr Goto Ed, the name of whom elicited many a joke!
Thank you so much Jonathan and Tom for yet another wonderful travel vlog. So entertaining with your wonderful banter. It’s just great to see all the places and churches that many of us would never have an opportunity to visit too. Great to see the different organs and the appreciative audiences of your amazing talents, plus the added bonus of a live dog and not so live cat! Long may your combined talents continue!
Assumed the squeak was a mouse. 😁 Thanks for sharing another fun (and animal) filled adventure. Love seeing behind the scenes. Respect for all the time and work you put in to bringing us your wonderful music. 🐇🐕🐭🐈⬛❤❤ 🎹🎶
It is SO heartwarming to see that you get the support both from the Hall BUT from the large numbers in attendance, purely based around one individual and instrument, Superb!
Oh I ❤️ you both very much. You bring so much joy into people's lives. Not to mention your musical skills. Can't help it, I almost always cry when I hear the organ sounds, it just goes right through me, the louder the better, same with church bells, awesome..
Thank you for another amazing travel vlog. My grandchildren were christened at St Wilfred’s Grappenhall and it was great to visit the church again - wish I could have been there for the performance. Likewise, the amazing Bridgewater Hall, where I have enjoyed many concerts. Best Wishes from Western Australia.
How I would have liked to be in each of those places listening to his music. Most of all I would have liked to be at the Spring Bank Arts Center when you played the Spanish music. The work you do is fantastic. You don't stop still for a second! You’re so funny! Congrats on your work and thanks for sharing!! 👏👏💖😘😘
Wonderful! Thanks guys! Must tell you that the organ of Fontainebleau (within striking distance of where we live) has been repaired! Please check it out and come! Wives? There must be a queue 😀 Fear not, I’m old enough to be your Gran
This was fun, lovely and I enjoyed the music immensely. Thank you for these highlights of your tour. It was so interesting to see the places where the churches are located. Please keep posting these! ❤️
Wonderful! I so enjoy your vlogs! The organ set ups/rehearsals, travel info all mixed in with your wonderful humour make my day. Jonathan was kept busy at the wedding!!Thank you both so much for taking us along on your trips. Safe journey to your next destinations. I shall look forward to finding out all about your next few visits on your next vlog. Take care. xx
Hallo! Thanks for sharing this wonderful video! Fantastic! It reminds of the song from Simon and Garfunkel Are you going to Scarborough Fair. You bin there! Thanks B B. With Love from the Netherlands. ❤
Hello Tom and Jonathan, I enjoyed this video very much. I loved the images of the various churches you perform at and the bits of performances and other activities you share with us..... I can't imagine you not knowing about David Hicken. He has written so many wonderful contemporary pieces for both piano and organ. The latest piece he performs on his pipe organ provides a wonderful listening experience. I hope you are able to watch his you-tube performance. I know you will enjoy it.....Will Ortiz
Most enjoyable, loved seeing all the places , churches and halls ! A lot of organising and planning must go into these tours thank you for taking us along with you and giving us a tantalising glimpse . Still wondering whose dog that might have been placed in the middle of the room ? Very strange .
Nice. Tom is funny. It amazes me how many organs there are in England and just about all are well maintained. One of my hopes before I die is to see you two in concert somewhere.
I’ve heard that if you live near to a regular Scott Brothers concert venue, such as the Albion Church, it adds about £50,000 to the value of your house.😂
Only two days to the next wonderful Bridgewater Hall concert, in my seat of choice. (Hot tip - if you have a favourite view of the organ where you can properly see Jonathan’s hands and feet, BOOK EARLY!) After that it’s Sale, then Singapore …. more brilliant vlogs to come 😊
SOME FRIENDs you guys are! A friend doesn't let a friend do something stupid like get married---what were you thinking? Why didn't you talk him out of it? Well another man gets his life ruined.
Another great vlog, thank you both❤

Thanks to you both.
The spoon I stir my porridge with every day came from Scarborough. Nice to see you guys out and about and not just doing what you do best, performing.
I love these trips! It's like I'm standing next to you, watching your actions! And they are also very relaxing and fun! You two are amazing! Thank you both for sharing such pleasant moments!

A really lovely film, thank you!

What fun...this never gets old!
Wonderful to see you performing for live audiences. I’m so jealous being on the other side of the world.
You two have combined artistry, performance talent, and clever banter into superb online presentations that I always look forward to watching and hearing.
😅 Thanks

All in the north of England. Lucky them! Shame I happen to live in the south of New Zealand.

So when are you coming to Motherwell? Four manuals and a fabulous organ.
Thank you Tom and Jonathan for the music, and for always making it so enjoyable and fun. You guys rock. 😍❤️Love and greetings from South Africa.
I love watching your videos 😊
Enjoyed the Tour. It's always great seeing you guys. Will have to buy some CDs. Phoenix, AZ

Love your vlogs; you were so close to us when you played in Almondbury!! You could have popped in for refreshments.🎂☕️🐞🤓
Hallo!
Thanks for sharing this wonderful video!
Fantastic! It reminds of the song from Simon and Garfunkel Are you going to Scarborough Fair. You bin there!
Thanks B B.
With Love from the Netherlands. ❤
You two are such a treat to watch. Thanks. I've wondered many times how you keep track of what is on the presets of so many instruments?
I played at Almondbury's organ on two occasions. I can now say that have played on organ that Jonathan has too!

As a Nigerian, I totally understand this sentiment
Happy memories.
The Merlion gave it away: Singapore! Enjoy it, as it's a great place to visit. I'm looking forward to a great video covering that trip.
Enjoyed the tour😂

Barbara Lewis.
And I am not surprised.
I remember on the Q&A you were asked if you played at weddings. We now know the answer - you do!
Great videos!😁👍❤️
Jonathan performing as a salon pianist at a wedding reception! I hope the guests realised how special that was.
My parents spent the first week of their honeymoon at the Grand in Scarborough. In 1948. Then they had two weeks in the Lake District.
I wish you could come to Salt Lake City and play the Tabernacle Organ.
Only two days to the next wonderful Bridgewater Hall concert, in my seat of choice. (Hot tip - if you have a favourite view of the organ where you can properly see Jonathan’s hands and feet, BOOK EARLY!) After that it’s Sale, then Singapore …. more brilliant vlogs to come 😊
More music pleeeeaaase
1:05 I literally heard the choir say
“BREEAD BARRRRRRRR MESSSED UUUUPPPPP TOOOO THEE-“
🇦🇺 My goodness, you’re very busy brothers.
A clue as to where you’re going next? 🇦🇺 AUSTRALIA 🇦🇺 Yeah🎉🍿🌹🙏
