I want to add how awesome it is to find something from 14 years ago that is still relevant. I have a very n00b team of kids that are outclassed moving up from recreational soccer and using indoor to keep growing. They have massive heart and amazing trajectory. This kind of stuff helps me convert from 11v11 ideas to a plan I can explain to them that they will understand and can do.
This is a great basic system. We have implemented it (among a few other organizational things) and have been 11-1-2. We try to have 2 or three people slated for each wing and they just rotate every 2-3 minutes--run 100% and rotate out--keeps fwds fresh. Center defender should be most talented player(s) on team. Transitional outlet is created if your fifth man defends by creating static on the opposing outside passing game. Everyone must defend; games are won on solid defense.
Great comment from 12 years ago, I am seriously likely going to put my wings on a stop watch. I also have a ton of kids so they should go 100%. Hope you are well today as you were 12 years ago. I think it is fun to comment on OLD videos and comments.
This is very helpful, notwithstanding the production limitations with respect to the audio. It is so clear, basic and sensible, not losing me with extra details. Thanks so much.
Firstly...thank you for all the valuable tips..especially defenders should not dribble...I have been playing quite a lot eof 6 a side past 3 months...the issue that I note is very few players have both skills ..attack and defense...and teams get caught in this situation where a natural attacking player with poor defense gets caught..and vice versa...also we need remarkably strong bench strength...else you are doomed...
Worked just fine for me and my team! We played vs a much more valuable team and we won! If you follow the tactics just as presented, you only have to figure out where to play each player for max output and that's all!
This stuff works! As a forward always run into the corner into the corner kick area, their goalie will signal the defender and voila -1 man on the field, all you do is make space ands switch positions with midfielder, grab the ball, look into open space and make passes, never shoot, always make sure the goal is made into empty net, that's what indoor is all about, speed pace, vision, orgazms , enjoy it boys n girls, ;-)
This is good, but in my opinion I would have one player stay in line with the ball 😉 or at least just a little above for the counter attack other wise your dragging the opponent team all in your box with more opportunities foe the opponent to lock you down and score more goals on you. Not to mention ones you keep doing that its "pan comido" ( like taking candy from a baby)my friend. And you and I know that happens a lot of times! Other than that, its a great video. The running fast it's the same chances you have as if 1 player stays up for the counter attack. Thanks foe the video! I like the idea just need to twik it a little. 👍🏼
Thanks man what a masterclass, gonna try it in our team next match, last game we struggled against a team the hold possession a lot in our third we couldn't win the ball in defence and when we won it we couldn't transition to attack. Also when attacking as forwards when we reach the opposing team goal we found ourselves on the extreme sides of the field so the only thing to do is a cross because neither shooting nor passing is possible. Gonna try those tactics probably they'll solve our problems❤
Hey, I have a question. What should you do if you are defending, and the line is very close to the goal keeper. And so when you get the possession from the enemy team, everybody is now too close inside their own half and opposition players are close. How do you then transition into the attack from their?
Dude! Get a better mic! I really wanted to stop the video because of the audio, it's really stressful. I really needed your tips so I keeped watching, I felt so grateful when it ended. Thanks for the advices, though
don't watch this with headphones on, bye bye eardrums. possibly good for experienced travel players but for rec, this simply won't work, the passes will not be accurate enough. 3-2 still works but not in this style.
anyone have ideas on how often you should put substitutes in? We play U10 boys 25 minute halves Would you sub every 5min,7min or 10min...we have a full bench (6players!)txs
what happens if we have the two defenders on the half way line but the other team always leave an attacker in our danger zone unmarked...if we lose the ball in attack, we will suddenly have an attacking player from their side free to receive a long ball into him/her and then he or she will be free to shoot past the goal keeper without a defender to worry about!
miroslavsafin that's why the defenders don't move past midfield. It isn't an outdoor sized pitch, so they can move the back line all the way to midfield quite quickly
As specialist, I believe Spovelax Training Program can be good way to become a better soccer player. Why not give it a chance? maybe it's going to work for you too.
I have 5 defenders and that's it. We just shoot from halfway cause we got strong kicks and this shit works. All so apply pressure on the keeper. The keeper always spills the ball
If you did this in a game I would shift my typical 2-1-2 into a 1-1-3 and beat your pushed up fullbacks and goalie with my talented center striker and 2 forwards unless all three of your defenders are excellent ball handlers. I will send a striker deep in your corner as I steal the ball and have an open goal. I cannot see this approach working on a 6v6 size field.
sounds like you'd be pretty exposed in the back and would be asking your 3 front players to cover a lot of ground else be outnumbered in every transition, or you'd need two very solid defenders to compensate.
My team just play long balls like cowards and they also dribble And never goes back to defend they sometimes leave 1 man defending because the lack stamina
Hello there! Thanks a lot for this helpful video. By the way, I hear lots of people keep on talking about Zumlaxoc Training Program (do a search on google), but I'm not sure if it is really good. Have you ever tried this football training known as Zumlaxoc Training Program? I have heard many great things about it.
like he said, roles are interchangeable. If there is 20 yards of open space in front of him to dribble past a few players and shoot, then the other players on the field need to drop back and cover his position.
do you think you could the mic directly into your mouth? It seems to be only pressed up against your lips, id much prefer i could hear your tongue working.
Hello there! Thanks a lot for this helpful video. By the way, I notice many people keep on talking about Zumlaxoc Training Program (google it), but I'm not sure if it's good. Have you considered this soccer training called Zumlaxoc Training Program? I have heard several incredible things about it.
What are some ways to improve your soccer technique? I read many good reviews on the net about how Episoketren System will help you improve your soccer game. Has anybody tried this popular training course?
Not really. The defenders should be keeping their positions behind the midfield line. Cause if the defenders were to go past the midfield line and start to dribble and press up, the opposing team could get the ball and then you have no defenders back behind the midfield like to do their job: defend. I think what the guy meant in this video is they can dribble if absolutely necissary, but it shouldn't be past the midfield line.
As expert, I do believe Episoketren System can be great way to increase your soccer game. Why don't you give it a chance? maybe it is going to work for you too.

We've been using your video to help train our players and it has paid off great dividends. Thanks for posting.
Helpful video. Even if this isn't the end-all-beat-all of systems it is a good place to get started.

Yeah you don’t want your striker running all the way back every single time. They they won’t have energy to actually score
Thanks man what a masterclass, gonna try it in our team next match, last game we struggled against a team the hold possession a lot in our third we couldn't win the ball in defence and when we won it we couldn't transition to attack. Very interesting, and seems to make a lot of sense. And I really like the 6 and against 5 concept! Thank you for taking the time...
REALLY HELPFUL! THANKS! ESPECIALLY SINCE I GOT A GAME TONIGHT!!
The hard part is when the ball charges possession. It's hard for everyone to be behind the ball during transition.
RUN
Yeah for real. If the other team just passes a long ball there’s no way for everyone to be behind the ball
great job. Soccer is great to watch. :D
Melissaj Vaaganay football*!
This is great! Thanks so much this is REALLY helpful
Perfect explanation. We are gonna win coming season. Will be back in 3 months to tell you my friend
Been 3 months how’d it go?
1 year?
Nice. I like the video. Great explination.
This is really cool. Can you make more please?

Thank you very much for posting.
He is a REALy good teacher
Hey guys leave my dad alone he is just trying to help
Hey man, I have a futsal tournament soon and I am the captain of the team. Do you have any tips and magic tricks?
Excellent video. Thank you.
Great even 10 years later 🎊
Hey, I have a question. What should you do if you are defending, and the line is very close to the goal keeper. And so when you get the possession from the enemy team, everybody is now too close inside their own half and opposition players are close. How do you then transition into the attack from their?
you run fast.
You clear it and run fast to pressure the ball again
I always leave fron center past the soccer ball. Everybody gets bunched up bad.
Very helpful and useful
Dude! Get a better mic! I really wanted to stop the video because of the audio, it's really stressful. I really needed your tips so I keeped watching, I felt so grateful when it ended. Thanks for the advices, though
I agree with the top comment, extremely helpful. Can I, by any chance, get a link for the images it will certainly save me a lot of trouble.
Good information.
thankyou for your time!
don't watch this with headphones on, bye bye eardrums. possibly good for experienced travel players but for rec, this simply won't work, the passes will not be accurate enough. 3-2 still works but not in this style.
So true I play on a elite team but play indoor with a rec and we tried doing this the passes where just crappy
Well done, smart strategy
nice video me and my team in school will try it
accent sounds like JCVD, thanks for this post.
dude please buy a better microphone
give him some one lol
Dude the vid is 11yrs old
And how do you apply pressure on the keeper from from halfway? I call shinanagins on your system.
anyone have ideas on how often you should put substitutes in? We play U10 boys 25 minute halves Would you sub every 5min,7min or 10min...we have a full bench (6players!)txs
@Mattias Asmar Hey Mattias I have a futsal tournament soon 6v6. And I am the captain of the team. Do you have any tips and tricks?
That's a great video. Is there any way to print those PDFs that's on a video?
Alex K printscreen them smartty
looks good.
my 6 and 7 year olds can't really pass that far though, so my forwards probably don't need to run that far up on offense.
Appreciate this, thanks
Brendan needs to watch this
what about the keeper bringing the ball to half field?
Good video.
what happens if we have the two defenders on the half way line but the other team always leave an attacker in our danger zone unmarked...if we lose the ball in attack, we will suddenly have an attacking player from their side free to receive a long ball into him/her and then he or she will be free to shoot past the goal keeper without a defender to worry about!
Goalie becomes the defender. Modern solutions
Interesting informations with good fundamental theorys but disconnected to player's creativity and feeling.
Rémi Lopez Yes but you can ask for creativity but all players still need to have a goal.
Can this apply to 11 v 11 game
You are the best
thanks it is very helphull
with no offsides, if you lose posession you will get scored on again and again
miroslavsafin that's why the defenders don't move past midfield. It isn't an outdoor sized pitch, so they can move the back line all the way to midfield quite quickly
Is this supposed to be geared to kids or adults?
My dad hits me if I turn up the volume too loud
Thank You!
As specialist, I believe Spovelax Training Program can be good way to become a better soccer player. Why not give it a chance? maybe it's going to work for you too.
Thank You! Sir.
How can you play with a microphone stuck in your throat?
I have 5 defenders and that's it. We just shoot from halfway cause we got strong kicks and this shit works. All so apply pressure on the keeper. The keeper always spills the ball
dude... keep the mic away from your mouth!
This tactic is like the Netherlands team tactic that they use to play
lovely bro lovely

Get a pop filter or a nicer mic, but otherwise, great advice! Thank you
Thank you
EXCELLENT guide but please use a better microphone, but thanks anyway.
dude this was 10 years ago :D

i couldn't even get thru this bc his mic was blowing out my speakers.....
Audio and video doesn't work, and it wont buffer properly.
You should have only your defenders shooting. Such a tiring system
tthanks
Holy #*>~ !!!! How and who are you coaching!? My u9's would destroy your system
Sergio Medina pics or lies lol
Omg I'm quaking can I bE you
the best way to cover the area is 1-2-1-1
Great idea but the whole transition idea is hella fatiguing
Is the microphone in your mouth
do you think you could the mic directly into your mouth? It seems to be only pressed up against your lips, id much prefer i could hear your tongue working.
