Cool video. Those huge copper mines are amazing. My Dad used to work for Cummins Diesel before he retired. He worked on the haul trucks that carried the ore out. The cummins powered the generators that powered the electric motors, one for each wheel . The pit mines are so deep they have different weather at the bottom

I was at the Bisbee rally and met you. I cant say enough about the awesome event. The tracks were great, meeting everyone was really cool, the event was well organized...etc. I highly encourage anyone to attend the event. Thanks for the video and the remnder of what a great time I had!

What a fun trip. I did a similar, but all pavement trip with a group in April. We ended up snowed/froze out when we hit UT. Just a little early in the season.

Many people believe that Arizona is nothing but sand and hot air, AND I LIKE IT THAT WAY! It keeps most people going to the nice places in California, like Yosemite (which is gorgeous) but also packed with too many people. Here, in the regions of Arizona that is NOT the PHOENIX area, it is beautiful with great on-road and off-road riding. I live in Prescott now (after living my whole life in Southern CA) which is at the 5300 ft elevation, so the summer temps get into the 80s but rarely the 100s and the winters get cool but not eastern state cold..... maybe a little snow now and then. When living in S. CA, I used to weekend in Idyllwild where Ian lives. Idyllwild is similar to where I live now. I'm glad to have escaped CAs crowds and politics!

Right on my neighbor hood I live in Sierra Vista AZ been to all locations you showed . But every time I go don't see you tubers . Except for Nolan Sterling I ve met him before at the Coronado national memorial . He s from bisbee AZ .

Hey Ian. Thatks for the info on the 660, Tubeless tyres, cruise control and rider modes that stay as you set them. That ontop of its specs make it the best featured mid size adv bike in my mind. Hows the bike going into 2024? Im looking forward to a 12 month review. How good are Sterling and Eva!

We had analogical instruments and we never had any kind of problem, or it was easy to fix them, of course they couldn't tell us how many times we had to go to the bathroom, which diet would be better for us, or what was our weight, so I can understand if people would prefer something digital to have a lot of very important, let's say fundamental information... tough times are coming... good luck!
That is some really nice views, cannot ride my Tenere 700 as its smashing down with rain here in the UK. Keep up the good work. I am sitting with the same questions, do I swap the T7 for the Aprillia but then I know I dont have a dealership close by. I am also keen to look at the KTM 890 adv. Never had a KTM

I was happy with the stock clicker settings but I did wind up the rear preload a few turns

3:52 it reminds me of the masterpiece the good the bad and the ugly , your smartphone will not survive long under the sun, the oled panel does not support that, and the vibrations also for the life of the battery, it is better to put the meter in a pocket on your belt and connect it with the TFT bluetooth of the motorbike. Samsungs are fragile.
I've rode with my Samsung S9 and S21a lot in 110+ degree direct sun days here all around the Phoenix area with absolutely no issues.
