I have no concerns about Sam Darnold. He's finally undisputed QB1 with a good offense. I'm not worried that he'll throw a few interceptions; in fact, I expect him to do so. All I want is to see him have fun playing his own brand of quarterback. I want him to play loose, fast, and confident. Be decisive, and don't let regrets weigh him down. If he's having a good time playing, then we fans will have a good time watching. Isn't that why we watch football?

If darnold was actually good, like take Vikings to the play offs good, I wouldn't be opposed to siting on him for 2 more years. Even after sitting a few years he'd be only be the same age as penix is now and would be ready to step in. Though if darnold is really good and JJ is ready, I dont mind trading him to a QB needy team for some draft picks that might help the trenches. However we'd need to know that JJ is as good as darnold if not better.

Id laugh my ass off if Darnold goes off...Vikings sign him 3 year 120 Million...keeps going but gets overtaken by an Aggressive McCarthy....we trade a cheap Darnold for a 1st ans a 3rd to a team like Miami who cant have an injured Tua any longer.
