The CGI car fight was actually my favorite part of the movie

Yeah, my suspenders of disbelief can only handle so much, and that's WAY too much.
In the movie Carry On, I knew it was going to be an absurd scene as soon as the detective pulled a gun on the driver while in motion on the highway.

I thought the borderlands movie was terrible. However the fire wings seemed to fit into the asthetics so I thought they looks good in context.
'Armor' was apparently so bad that I didn't know it had been made, or had rapidly forgotten if I did know Wow.
For #2, you should have called it "Every cgi scene in Megalopolis"
Carry on was a pretty good movie and the car scene looked great obviously it was fake but looked damn good you are just bored to pick on that one and a few others on this list 🤷
How is the Flash film not on this list? The CGI was terrible!!
The baby sequence and that weird sphere thing that Flash is trapped in when he goes back in time, deserve particular dishonourable mentions.
While I'm glad that we received a long awaited Tom Hanks, Robin Wright and Robert Zemeckis reunion, I concur that the CGI deaging was rather distracting at times.
Carry-On was a fine movie, the car scene was way out of place but so fun, it grabbed my attention and I wanted more of that to be honest

It is and these guys are bored maybe 2 or so movies deserve it but the rest looked fine they are really reaching for something to complain about for sure

Fede Alvarez literally came out a said before your video that the ran out of time finishing up the effects. He himself stated he was disappointed with it and touched it up for streaming, though not perfectly
Okay, you could argue that the rest of the top picks cgi are only due to people easily knowing what’s CGI and could suspend disbelief…. HOWEVER, numbers 4, 2, and 1 without a doubt have the WORST CGI EFFECTS OF ALL TIME.
Honestly I wouldn’t even have noticed 2.

Pre video comment: Special effects have really tanked in recent years.
Peak time was like original Jurassic Park and the Planet of the Apes remakes, modern VFX seem to be on par with some 90s made for TV Saturday morning dross.

Using too much of or relying too heavily on them, hence Logan's claws look better in X1 & X2 than in ORIGINS
I watch Gladiator II the other night. The baboons were terrifying and not bad CGI. They had 'mange' a hair loss sickness. But everyone piled on. Bad group think.
I don't want to watch any films that use AI technology on principle. Lazy 'art' is all that is.
Crooked Man doesn't count. 20 million is nothing in today's movie climate.

the deepfake ian holm was rushed for the theatrical release. thankfully the version on the 4k release looks much much better. i saw the theatre version and i own the 4k version. the 4k is much better.
Good to know cos I actually like the Ian Holm sequence (the man was one of my all-time favourite actors), so I like to think it can exist in an improved rendition.

I feel like CGI technology has gone backwards. Frank the Pug from Men In Black looked a hell of a lot better than these, and that movie came out almost 30 years ago.

They really wanted that splash page shot, but couldn't really make the basic physics of it work.

@@breadmeister I don't think the physics are supposed to work. Think about gags like how Ben can't ride the elevator with the other 3, "WHERE ARE YOUR EARS?!" How Logan is heavier with the adamantium skeleton...

1:35 "This is a 300 million dollar movie. Where did the money go?" Certainly not the VFX department. VFX companies have received the short end of the stick for many years now, with long working hours and measly pay, worsened by tough competition. For a channel with strong focus on media, you should know better than asking this dumb question.
Anyone who seen CGI artists react will that somehow the Romulus deep fake guys were hired to do here deep fakes...😅

that lame joker 2 is my vote for worst movie
The deepfake/de-aging of Indie made me stop watching after the 1st 5 mins. I found it uncomfortable to watch and too attention grabbing I couldn't concentrate on the movie itself!!
I love how everyone gives Avatar 2 a pass. That giant whale looks absolutely terrible at times

Alien Rom was just horrible all around predictable, not original, horrible characters, and same lame ending as previous alien movies.
