I was in NY a few months back and my room overlooked Time Square and I was amazed at how no one gets out of the way for a fire truck in that city. Motorist just don't give a shit. I would had loved to watch one of the trucks just plow down the street.....

I love how the FDNY decorate or name some of their equipment, like the Batman on the front of Engine 26 or Truck 4's "Pride of Midtown".
