Dude I’m literally going through all of your videos!!! Thanks so much for the knowledge I’m going to spend hours watching all your stuff! I’m glad I ran into this channel!
Hey bro. This isn’t related to automation or maybe it is but I can’t find any answers anywhere on it and you seem SUPER knowledgeable about BM3. Every time I use a synth instrument, record a take and then play it back. The synth continues to play and nothing will stop it unless I hit the same note again. Which completely ruins the workflow when I’m feeling something I’m working on. Have you experienced this and/or figured out a way to stop this? Or do I just need to automate the track level after each section I’ve placed or recorded in the sequencer?
(using BM3 just since a few days...) This was already helpful, because I know now having to use external seq for „convenience in detail“ - before raising eyebrows, facing the shown restrictrions & issues. Indeed I have a question: my first BM-downer was not getting mentioned program change command at any place in app or manual. (Are they crazy, or had I just overlooked in editor, list of controls etc?) ARE program changes implemented? - The editor as it shows up in current version is imho far away from „handy enough for standard use“, which makes external helper (xequencer or comparable - running inside or parallel to BM) a quite often launched workarround. As far as I can see.
Thanks for sharing the knowledge!! Is it possible to switch between stereo and mono without turning the pan knobs? I’m trying to compare both when mastering.
IDK if there is a way to monitor in mono. That’s not something I tend to do, but there may be a plugin out there that will allow you to make your stereo instruments output mono. Then you could just turn the effect on or off to switch between the two. Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful!
@@yuunghighstatus2731 Only Bm3. I have tried it on any other DAW. I’ve heard it doesn’t glitch on Cubase but, don’t take my word for it- no first hand experience. I’ve also heard in scene mode it’s totally fine as well. Haven’t tried that yet but, I’m bout too! If you use scene mode...lmk cuz I’m not done til 7pm tonight and, I’d love to know fr. ✌️ fam!
I haven’t dove into slow machine yet, but I imagine the automation works the same way. Just make sure record automation is turned on, hit record, and tweak your knobs.
@@MusicTechnologist man you should def look into it. I was promised this thing would work as a half time plugin. It’s a really good manual gate/side chain but, I’d love to hear your thoughts on this one!
I don’t really know what kits you’re getting from reddit, but most samples can be imported into BM3. If you want to make them into kits, all you have to do is drag samples onto the pads and then save the bank, then you can load up the kit again any time!

Same! This guy is FR making learning this new app (new to me) a breeze! 👍
One of the most underrated channels on UA-cam. Just picked up BeatMaker 3 and I need all the help I can get LOL

Very Helpful Video!
This was helpful thnx🤙🏼
Happy to help! 👍🏽
Good vid !!
Great video bro. Can you do a video on making a tape stop effect on BM3?
Thanks Marcio! I’ve actually got that one on the books, so it’ll be coming around soon!
@@MusicTechnologist Nice! Thanks bro 🙏 you do great work man I've learned alot from you keep it up. 💯

Hello Kai! I’m not quite sure I understand your question here. What do you mean by program changes?
Very Nice!

There’s no bypass to automate?
How to use automation while using slow machine on certain parts
I think slow machine for all its hype is still so glitchy. So much promise. But, whenever you trigger on/off...it’ll stay off lol
@@discowolf25 do you produce off of beat maker?

Yo has anyone tried importing reddit drum kits into beatmaker 3? I wanna know if beatmaker 3 is worth it for that
