- "The Flash" is set to race on screen in October on the CW, and three of its stars, Grant Gustin (Barry Allen/The Flash), Candice Patton (Iris West) and Danielle Panabaker (Caitlin Snow) stopped by the CBR Yacht at Comic-Con International 2014 to speak with CBR executive producer Jonah Weiland about their time so far filming the series, their excitement about entering the world of "Arrow" and more.

I was a big comic book reader growing up and my number one favorite hero was The Flash. I didn't believe I'd ever see a series with him. I hope they do him justice!
There used to be a tv series of the flash back in the early 90's. It got cancelled after one season but you should look it up.
His recent DVD Flashpoint Paradox Did Great wit numbers.. Heard thy Doin a movie on em too
Jesse Lioce Yes, it was pretty good for what it was. It was kind of a live action cartoon but it got pretty good. That was back in the Lois and Clark era though, even though it was a couple of years before L&C, and that's just what comics media was back then. Even the Batman movies were very cartoony and stylized. I liked it just because it was The Flash. This new one is the show I've always wanted though. Love the current show.

Yeah, that's why they write in all the plot parallels between Barry and Caitlin, shared life experiences, great respect and care for each other, matching outfits, saving each other many times, ... you know what? We'll see. At least Barry and Caitlin are great friends, and we still have a couple of seasons to go. I'd be totally fine with westallen if the script writers would stop making Iris unlikeable...

THEY DID! I was dying at Candice's face when Danielle started talking, I think they all were a little sick being on the boat or something because they got a little uncomfortable at certain moments

I have a question though:
- How much of the Arrow fan base loves The Flash and watches it faithfully and vice versa?
I know they kind of addressed this in the video but I don't really share their views, considering I'm a late bloomer to this kind of TV series. Also I checked the ratings of both shows this season and The Flash is winning in terms of viewership.
I wanted to received some of the fans thoughts on this comment section for a quick survey; answer with:
- #TheFlash if you only watch this show or like it more
- #Arrow if you prefer this one
- #Flarrow if you really enjoy both
***PS: I personally had no interest in watching Arrow, (not even The Flash at first for that matter). I'm not big on comics superheroes but it took me just a little convincing to start The Flash while it took me 2 crossovers episodes on The Flash to even began to contemplate the idea of watching Arrow.

#Flarrow, definitely. I personally like "Arrow" *just a little more*. Mainly because GA is on the small screen what Batman has never been in on the big screen - a badass warrior that you should fear.
I like "The Flash" because it doesn't take itself *too* seriously, but still maintains the right level of seriousness, ya know?
I watch both shows. I've been a fan of Arrow since season one. I have to admit I binge watched season one while I was sick for a few days and has been hook since then. Arrow was a little slow in the beginning but now in season 3 the storyline has pick up a whole lot. With the flash it came out the gate running and the fans and critics alike really like the show
I thought arrows was going to be crap but then after I watched the crossover on flash I wanted to see it and now I'm like woooow
I like The Flash a little better just because Stephen Amell can't act whereas Grant can.

Grant and Danielle said Caitlin and Barry do get closer and bond more this season, The first scene they shot for season 2 was with Grant and Danielle but the love triangle this season I don't think will have anything to do with SB but with Patty Spivot and Iris. Patty is this character in the comics who's somewhat like "Felicity" and Barry starts falling in love with her but she doesn't notice it. SnowBarry get closer because I think that would put a huge affect on her becoming Killer Frost between her and The Flash because she becomes the Flash's arch nemesis and She kinda has no choice so I imagine the closer they get the harder it's gonna be on the both of them. It ends with either Killer Frost dying or being locked away but I think or HOPE that's also one small change they make, I really don't want them to kill Caitlin Snow off or lock her away but Apparently, people suspect a lot of Season 2 will be set in a different timeline where Barry goes to jail, The world finds out his identity, Cisco becomes Vibe, Eobart Thawne returns etc.. At first I was worried about her being Killer Frost because I know a lot of the outcomes are that she dies but I think the writers and producers will do her justice. The show really isn't based on one issue of The Flash, it's basically the writers' starting from scratch but still incorporating big details. I'm excited
