So, I love your commentary on militant fanboyism and flute music in the early game. I'm mostly watching these because I enjoy competent commentary and classy jazz, and you're delivering like a pro. Well done.
Did some digging because i quite liked the music as well in this round. That specific song is BLIND - Chrono Trigger Pipe Dream Mystics OC ReMix you can find TB's music on lastfm from about halfway on the third page is this game.
Love these videos. Keep em rolling. And I lol'ed when you said that he didn't GG x) I think I might recall you saying something about GG'ing not being important. But I guess the tables where turned then. I can connect to that.
It was actually a marine casually strolling along with the protoss army. No idea how he got there and why he thought it was a good idea :D The death animation is a burning marine and you can see him for a few seconds next to a probe.
There is an option in setting that allows you to click on enemy building and units I believe, but I forgot what it's called. Shouldn't be hard to find though.
It is time to put this debate to rest. Having watch the replay, the reason he did not use storm, as you might have noticed if you have a look at the battle itself, is because he is not even looking at the battle. He is too busy trying to frantically re-establish production at the top base. Throughout that entire battle he was looking to the top right, by the time he looked back, he had lost. So yeah, it was capitalising on a lapse in attention.
TB, "The Cynical Fleet" is a completely normal phemomenon. Idols (a stretched term in our days) are a social norm, and YouToube is a place for social, if often poorly mannared, but non the less gathering. I can commend you on your stance against the fanboism, but is is still there, even if you happen to be reluctant towards it. Kudos to you for that. Still, a following is a following.
As with any race know your build orders, but your build order is just a suggestion on what to do so do not be afraid to go against it when you would be better improvising after the first 5-6 minutes or so.
that map seems like it could be closed off pretty easily with a couple planetaries with building armor, high sec auto tracking and a couple turrets behind
Heh, you wonder why people quit ladder so often in SC2 and don't play anymore. "YOU ONLY WON BECAUSE HE WAS BAD" the most discouraging thing you'll ever hear.
What a fool! He fell victim to one of the classic blunders! The most famous of which is "never get involved in a land war in Asia," but only slightly less well-known is this: "Never trade bases with a Terran when DEATH is on the line!"
as tight as those bases are I wonder how much damage a nuke could do.. like drop a cloaked ghost in the corner, drop the nuke on the edge of the nexus and then have your army sitting in medivacs ready to pounce once the nuke went off... might be able to wreck the base
My tip if you're on EU go join the channel Bronze Practice they're a great help. Otherwise I would say watch your replays won or lost. Especially for games you won, that you think you should not have, they can show crippling mistakes from the enemy that enabled you to win. Don't give up at trying, also quit when you've lost, to many newer players refuse to give up even if they have no hope, it can be kind of rude and you can get onto the next game faster or analysing the replay.
Malum consilium quod mutari non potest. Always keep that in mind. Even if the protos would have done no mistakes towards the match end, TB would hav been able to change his plan
Odd question, while i don't normally watch Star craft 2 multiplayer levels, i have noticed that there isn't many if any videos where you have 3 or more players.
That's true, but from my understanding (and I don't play starcraft II, mind you, but rather CoH), Starcraft II seems to be a game where the one who makes more mistakes loses... and to me, there seems to be so much room for mistakes. Winning because they're worse isn't such a bad thing ^^
TB, I know you hate them but when on the defensive against a protoss like that, just get a few tanks, like 3 or 4. They will rip great chunks out of the front line of stalkers and since you know he doesn't have zealots, theres no risk to you
Meh IMO Just one starport is fine so long as you put a reactor on early and don't throw your medivacs away. If you already have around 6 medivacs you can just switch right over to vikings for a til you have enough, then switch back.

Well done.
I just got back into your starcraft 2 stuff a few weeks ago, glad this back for now
The chipper music is at once bizarrely out of place and completely awesome! :-D
Great play by both of you guys. Entertaining match to watch!
wow TB you sound so laid back in this video! glad to hear you relaxing
Did some digging because i quite liked the music as well in this round. That specific song is BLIND - Chrono Trigger Pipe Dream Mystics OC ReMix you can find TB's music on lastfm from about halfway on the third page is this game.
when you scout with a scv or scan you can left click the building. plus certain buildings for a protoss are a specific size when warping in.
Anyone got a soundtrack list of what his listening to?
you have an awesome taste of music!!!!! i loved the jazz
Protossed, a giant ball of death that destroys everything. Zerged, a never ending onslaught of units. Terraned, base trade.
Love these videos. Keep em rolling. And I lol'ed when you said that he didn't GG x) I think I might recall you saying something about GG'ing not being important. But I guess the tables where turned then. I can connect to that.
I will not lose a base trade... with you, sonny jim. :) LOL.
Nice partisan fighting and cold-blooded management whilst he was trying to raze you. Thanks for a bunch of entertainment.
Hah, I was reading this thinking 'That's a good, reasonable comment', and it's actually from Totalbiscuit. Fair point, well said.
It was actually a marine casually strolling along with the protoss army. No idea how he got there and why he thought it was a good idea :D
The death animation is a burning marine and you can see him for a few seconds next to a probe.
TB sounds so enthusiastic this game!
I watch TBs videos sometimes. Beware, i'm complacent with my occasional liking of the videos produced.
Epic music choice TB
That was a really cool recovery TB, I probably would have raged if I were him too!

LOVE THAT CHRONO TRIGGER REMIX

For a guy who never played or seen StarCraft you seem like a pro.

wow tb is actually getting so much better.
still remember his stream from a long time ago and how poorly he played
TB your greatest weakness is the supplyblocks xD
TB has earned the rank: Protoss Killer!
My hero..
You can't hope to deal with colossi with only 1 starport; once you see them you MUST get another starport!
Nice! Well played good sir. Well played.
That was such an immense win. Like really, if I pulled that off I'd have a stuffy for days..
As with any race know your build orders, but your build order is just a suggestion on what to do so do not be afraid to go against it when you would be better improvising after the first 5-6 minutes or so.
Excellent match. well-done TB.
that map seems like it could be closed off pretty easily with a couple planetaries with building armor, high sec auto tracking and a couple turrets behind

Well done TB thought you were done when he attacked !
Honestly the only reason TB won was the toss didn't storm again. His temps had the energy to do it
Awesome battle.
nice basetrade. and how do you loose your colossi vs an army that is mmm?
That was fun to watch.
Wow that was pretty intense. I thought for sure you had lost when he protoss balled into your base.
love that chrono trigger remix!
Dude! Thanks a ton! Thank you, thumbs up, high five and brofist! :D
You are the reason people don't ladder anymore
this game was sick
awesome man
You sound really relaxed.
The song at 9:16, who is that? I friggin' love it!
A-move can be quite the double edge. 13:07 all the protoss units suddenly turns toward one of their own, glares at him, *zap*. What did he ever do?
23:25 Helm, jack shit factor 9, engage!
Great video hella entertaining!
you didn't harrass enough and made him get to that giant nuke ball
well played mister biscuit
Jazz Flute, well done Ron...
LOve TB music taste thumbs up for sad violin :D
he kind of lost it when TB denied his expansion
all the poor fella wanted was a massive amount of colossus :'(
thanks tb
I feel like the homestuck fandom desperately needs to hear the first two minutes of this video.
Why do you have your wall in like that. And not the standard fax with two depos at either side?
well played sir
What a fool! He fell victim to one of the classic blunders! The most famous of which is "never get involved in a land war in Asia," but only slightly less well-known is this: "Never trade bases with a Terran when DEATH is on the line!"
12:53 dat marine , up! :DD
omg this mach was epic

Well played TB.
Actually, that's why you don't trade your main and an extension for an extension.
way to wreck him...no way this is the same TB from the I suck at Starcraft days! GG
Violin music anyone know what its called?
Agreed.
Odd question, while i don't normally watch Star craft 2 multiplayer levels, i have noticed that there isn't many if any videos where you have 3 or more players.
Hi Im a SC2 newbie but how does he know what building is being built?
Did you ever do the 27/27 t-shirt TB?
You're name fits perfectly :3
that was a good game, though it seems you still need to work on keeping supply up :P its very obvious that you are improving though, keep it up. ^^
what is this soothing music?
U are getting a lot better TB. Still far from good, but better ^_^
did you live stream this?
We are "the TB video watching club". Also, I'm not more interesting than that.
All of the bullets! lol
How do you win a starcraft game ?? Like whats the win condition ?
Why does tb wall in with his racks on the side rather than in the middle?
I prefer the chilled pace of Civ 5. The speed of play on starcraft boggles my mind.
You don't have a land war in Asia, and you don't base trade with Terran.
personally, I just think it was a very entertaining game to watch and not care much about people being pro or not :P
TB played well the protoss made a mistake which can cost you the game if your not careful
That was impressive
I agree..
TB, toss army was so much larger. If he used storm while in your base you whould have lost vtw
Awesome play (Y)
Isn't that why people usually win?You win because you were better than your opponent.
That's true, but from my understanding (and I don't play starcraft II, mind you, but rather CoH), Starcraft II seems to be a game where the one who makes more mistakes loses... and to me, there seems to be so much room for mistakes. Winning because they're worse isn't such a bad thing ^^
GG
C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER!!!

p-o
*it's a monocle*
it's one of the most fundamental rules or pro starcraft, and even as a bronze leaguer I know it:
Never base trade a terran.
Meh IMO Just one starport is fine so long as you put a reactor on early and don't throw your medivacs away. If you already have around 6 medivacs you can just switch right over to vikings for a til you have enough, then switch back.
