Very good demo captain, I’ve flown steam gages DC9, MD80$, it’s amazing how new instrumentation enhances situational awareness and give you pretty much a visual depth that was harder in older type aircraft. Thank you for the precise explanation.

You're welcome, it is a transition from steam gages that was more pronounced several years ago when pilots first transitioned to the glass. Now, most pilots have had exposure to glass and can transition quicker once they understand how to process the data and manage the information...

How is heading displayed in a jet?
    1) Steam gauges vs Glass Displays
    2) In the olden days, there were Round Dialed Steam gauges
    3) In the modern jets, you have the glass display.
    4) the Heading portion of it will be displayed on the PFD.
    5) It is displayed at the bottom of the PFD.

    || How is Heading generated in a jet? ||
Heading is generated by the Inertial Reference System (IRS)
==|| In Boeing 747 there are three IRUs to supply heading
==|| In some aeroplanes, it will be an ADIRU (Air Data Inertial Reference Unit)

Hello I just beginning my Flight Sim adventure and subscribed to your channel. My setup will include an Xbox Series X with MSFS Premium Edition for Xbox and the soon to be released Velocity One yoke and controls from Turtle Beach. Where do I start in your video series to get "off the ground" per say? Thank you.

Sorry, this ended up in my spam folder for some reason. The most logical progression is to watch the videos in the Playlist in this order: EFIS, Autoflight, FMS, Systems, and Flight Training, then do the Timed Training Tips series of videos.

Does it mean that the heading from a way point to another in a specific route between 2 specific airports changes..depending on wind direction from time to another ??!!

If I understand your question, yes it will change depending on the distance covered between the 2 points...

Wind 253 degrees at 21 knots, isn’t it the wind blowing from Left to Right? And not Right to left.ok sorry R to L...my misunderstanding...
