You made some excellent points here. I’ve never bothered with kickstarter, and where I live in the Canary Islands, many retailers will not ship here, plus it’s quite expensive if you do, so virtually all my games have been bought in local shops. This has meant many games are not available, as they don’t make it here, so the wishlist want is reduced. Nevertheless, I’m at the stage where I have enough games (a few unplayed) but the point you made about not purchasing similar playing-style games is something I ask myself constantly now, and this has stopped me buying games just because they are new. Also, the space the games are taking up is now reaching capacity, more than a single Kallax. As I only play the board games with my wife, I’ve tried to purchase more two-player specific games, as it reduces the cost a lot, I’m not having to pay for cardboard I’m never going to use! As all my games are in Spanish, my choice is limited if the game is heavily language dependent. However, there are so many games. Again, thanks for the advice and good luck with your channel.
