My through-the-years tribute to my all-time favorite artist, legendary, Robin Gibb, with his latest release, "Don't Cry Alone." This beautiful song is the only track performed by Robin on his new CD entitled "The Titanic Requiem" which he and son, RJ composed to commemorate the centennial of the Titanic tragedy.
"The Titanic Requiem" Robin's first classical production, as well as his first collaborative effort with his son, RJ was composed during an immensely traumatic time for both father and son. A one-of-a-kind CD destined for the Collector's Shelf. The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra performs on all tracks of "The Titanic Requiem" with vocals by choir and others.
The world premiere concert of Robin and RJ's "The Titanic Requiem" will go down in history on April 10, 2012 in the Great Hall of Central Hall Westminster in London. Performed in its entirety by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra with special guests and of course, Mr. Wonderful, Robin Gibb.
An enchanted evening for all fortunate enough to be there.

Each of the BeeGees was his own man with unique strengths even as, together, they lit up everything around them. What a gift. Rest in peace, Mr. Gibb. You are remembered and missed, and many of us look forward to "meeting" you one day.

This is beautiful. Thank you for posting. Always had the utmost respect for Robin. He's always been his own person. A forceful personality, but not dominate, he didn't try to dominate anyone, but he would not be dominated. A truly unique soul, it showed through the passion when he sang, and the melancholy persona he had on stage. Through his songs were a window to his soul. Barry may have been known as the leader however only Robin had the ability to make grown men cry with his vocals.

I can never hear this song that I don't imagine that Robin is singing it to Maurice. He loves his twin brother so much and he will sweep away all his pain and sorrow. I think of them being infants... and that Robin will be there for Mo forever, he will sweep away his tears and sorrow. I can't imagine a deeper connection. It is a beautiful image. He name checked Robin and said the song was like a song from God when he was going through his own troubles. He has plans to record it in the studio at some point. I was a teenager souring the British invasion and the Bee Gees are still my favorite group from Great Britain. I was deeply saddened when I heard that Andy Gibb died at age 30 way to young to go. Later on I hear that Robin and Maurice have died and now Barry is the only Bee Gee left. You Will never be forgotten and your music will airways be played and your legacy will live on. The Bee Gees are one of the finest music groups that ever walked the streets of Great Britain. Well Barry I give you my condolences for the late Andy. Robin and Maurice Gibb. Rest In Peace. Dear Ruth I really like the Bee Gees very much being a teenager during the British Invasion the Bee Gees were my favorite British music group then the Beatles, Roling Stones, Dave Clark 5, The Animals, The Kinks, Manfred Mann & Earth Band Donavan, Patula Clark, The Strawberry Alarm Clock and The Swinging Blue Jeans in that order. I was deeply saddened when I saw on the news that Andy Gibb at age 30 way to young to die. Later on the 5 o'clock news saying word from the BBC that Robin and Maurice Gibb of the Bee Gees has died which Barry Gibb is the only Bee Gee still living. I bought every record they produced along with numerous 45 rpm records by them. The Bee Gees will go down very well in music Hall of fame. Of coarse progress has made it where you don't have to store all of those records. It's nice to be able to download thousands of music pieces and not have to store all of those records. I was able to get top dollar for my 12 inch Bee Gees record albums. I had collectors fighting over them especially when I had the clear plastic jacket along with outer case which was in mint shape. I sold to the highest bidder. I gave my condolence to Barry Gibb. RIP Andy, Maurice and Robin Gibb. Thanks for your super fine music. Respectfully.
