Oh my God! You guys have such great taste in movies! I thought I was the only person in the world that remembers this movie and loved it!
You have no idea how hard it was for me to find the NBT dvd!
I’m with you on that!
@@seanwilks7712 I used to have it on DVD. got it in 2000, but it got lost somehow.
@@bernie472 I had to search eBay for around 3 yrs to find it on dvd and got lucky…that was back in 2005.
I still have it.
I've had mine for quite some time. Love the movie.
I was Dan Aykroyd's assistant on this movie. What an adventure working on it. Didn't know anyone appreciated it. You've all made my day!
I am sure many people enjoyed it. Personally it is one of my favorites. The crazy changing nose from Aykroyd’s lol!
@kevinmarcy4665 I heard Dan Aykroyd was a delight to work with on that movie. Any special memories?
One great memory was watching Dan and his friend John Daveikis getting ready as Bobo and Lil Debbil (the infant bodies). We were off the set and they were in full costume/makeup and WHOLE LOTTA LOVE by Zeppelin was blasting on the boom box as Dan played air guitar (as Bobo) to it. Surreal.
Nothing But Trouble is one of my favorite movies. Thanks for all the laughs.
@@kevinmarcy4665love this movie but I heard Chevy chase was a nightmare to work with and everyone hated him. One crew member even once threatened to drop a brick on Chase head if he talked to aykroyd like that again.
Oh man. I remember seeing this movie as a kid and one of my old band mates randomly brought it up in conversation one day. We were pretty much the only two people in our group who had ever seen or even heard of this movie. It’s so under appreciated.
One of my favorites :) not just because I grew up in eastern PA & centralia is an hour from my hometown lol.
I still question the physics and mechanics of how mr bone stripper functioned. …how is there no blood spattering as they pass through the chains/claws/spikey cylinders, and how is there that much force to literally launch the remaining bones at a target that looks to be about 20 feet away give or take.
…these are the thoughts that keep me awake all night 🤣
Edit; can’t go wrong with digital underground’s cameo
I definitely want to go back and re-watch it because it’s been quite a few years since I’ve last seen it. It’s one of those films that I totally forgot about for a while and even asked “Was it real? Or did I just imagine it?” So glad its memory is being kept alive and it got the cult following it deserved. My grandfather loves Chevy Chase and I remember he showed me this movie on TV randomly one night when I was a kid. He loved it and thought it was hilarious.
@@chestyvulva it didn’t do well in the movie theater or the ratings . I thought it was lame. And that dan ‘s old man character looked like dan in and old man costume. (It Looked so fake) That seemed to be decomposing thru the movie . All I remember of the movie is the feeling after I watched it.
And that Was a feeling of underwhelmed . It was along time ago, and I only watched it the one time. But , yeah , I didn’t like it .
dang the old HBO days...when this movie and Dont tell mom the Babysitter's Dead ruled the channel on our little small Cable box with red digital numbers. Miss those days.
Mr.Bonesplitter had to be my favorite part...not to mention the I.D.s in the attic(James Hoffa,),imagine that!!?...just a really cool movie all around,!!
Awesome movie. I wish John Candy had more time. He brought something to the movies he was in that hasn’t been matched by another actor to this day.
When I was a kid he was my favorite actor. He was so funny and it was said that he was a good guy.
I love it when you say "but there it is" when you uncover these holy grails of film history. RIP Shock G, Shakur and John Candy.
This movie was such a classic and when they zoomed in on dan's nose and chevy's reaction, i died laughing. It just amazes me how you find these locations. Keep up the searching and finding. Happy halloween
It’s awesome seeing the bridge where the lost boys were hanging and dropped. Hopefully you made it back safe from the heat!
Such a funny movie. My favourite moment is the dinner scene where Chris Thorne (Chevy Chase) looks at Judge Alvin (Dan Akroyd) eating and to his horror noticed his nose had morphed into a Weener. Turned me Vegetarian that. 😳
Dont know how many times i watched this movie when i was a kid . Brings back memories
Yep. Love that movie. But it came out around 1991 or 92. It was one of the most expensive movies that Warner Brothers ever made. But it still endears the hearts of everyone that watched it.
Nothing But Trouble?!?!? Set aside the fact that most people have no idea this movie exists but you did a location video?!! Love it!!! AMAZING!!!!
It's so funny you said that because I used to be a huge roller coaster fan and I found that since I got into my forties I found myself blacking out on the barrel rolls and stuff I guess we're only young for so long huh😂 I don't subscribe to many channels, but y'all have such a respect and obvious love for this stuff. It really spreads a great message and reaches a lot of people 😊
Right on!! I love this movie! True classic ✌🖤
Ohhh ya! I remember that movie from HBO when I was a kid!
One of my favorite and bizarre movies of all time!!!! BoBo and Lil Debil were so creepy “We’re not allowed in the house” ha! John Candy and Dan Aykroyd were amazing!
OMG! I loved that movie when it came out. WOW! I must have been 10 y/o when I saw it in the theaters. Thanks so much!
I used a couple clips from the movie in one of my videos about a preacher littering and like 2 months later I’m glad it suggested this channel.
I too find this fascinating
Awesome find!!! I was absolutely hooked on this movie when i was younger. Its a hidden gem
Not ‘80’s, but early ‘90’s movie.
Longtime personal favorite too! 👌🏻
OMG!!!!!... I thought ONLY me, and 3 other people knew of this film, and BAM---- the GriMMs do a "Line-up the Shot" episode on it! I'm beside myself with laughter seeing this episode, and seeing that you are braving the elements to show us this (THANKS, a million for doing this, by the way).... WOW, I love this hard to find (and under appreciated) comedy, and you being the Trooper that you are, Mr. GriMM, went out, above and beyond to lay it on us. I personally think this is John Candy's 2nd Best film that he ever made.... Thanks, again for taking us with you... I believe I will now go view this film, again.... Oh, and please, wear a hat next time to keep the sun at bay.... Happy Halloween... :^)"""""""
One of my favorites. Actually, John Candy was such a great man, an inspiration.
I never thought I’d find a bigger fan of this film than myself. I salute you!!
Soooo damn cool! Nothing but trouble was such an unusual and quirky movie. Great to see there is still a traceable lineage of this unusual classic, absolutely loved it! Shock G AND Tupac in one scene. Totally chill video Michael! Thanks for taking us Grimmlins along, we do so appreciate it.
As always,.... Happy Halloween!!
Tupac's fist appearance in a film.
RIP Shock G. He never got the credit he deserved
@@artellis oh dang I didn't even know he passed :(
Its the kind of movie that can only happen when a director is given a giant pile of money and left unsupervised by the studio executives.
Well I love that movie. My dad and I were having a daughter father movie night and since then I always watch it around halloween time. I would love to explore this mansion and discover all of its secrets. Love the story and movie. Dan Aykroyd goes out far to make his movies and roles and it is amazing.
You unlocked a memory with this one. Tupac Demi, Moore, Dan Aykroyd, Shock G all in one movie?! This was so iconic. You guys never disappoint.
NOW THIS... Gave me the supergeeks. The place I always wanted to visit as a child: Valkenvania and Judge Valkenheiser's amazing house. Thank you for taking the trouble to visit this place for me. I hope you are well. Friendly greetings and blessings from Finland. - Peter
My dad recorded this off of HBO for us and we watched it till the tape stopped working 😄
I still have the VHS Tape my parents recorded off of HBO
Micheal and Jessica a really interesting vlog and as always well documented by you well done cool as heckings top notch
Great 🍿 movie cool to see the filming location.. Ever do the Burbs filming location?
You never disappoint, always a home run with your videos.
This is what the cinemassacre movie locations should have been like! Great work
I was typing about 2pac being in NBT when you mentioned it in the vid lol. Another fantastic vid guys.
One of the most plain places you've ever shown us,yet one of my favorites. Awesome 👍👌
I often tell people this is one of my favourite movies and usually get blank stares. The odd, odd person knows it. Thanks for sharing this!
You do such a great job!!! Your videos are so interesting and informative and fun!!
Appreciate Your Journey To The wonderful Filming Loations!💙
That's so fabulous, Thank you for risking life and limb to show us.
Oh my gosh! Finally someone did the filming locations on this! Thank you so much. This is one of my cult favorites. Very nice job. I wish this movie got more credit.
Where was this?
Did you say “this is the hardest HEXercising?” 😂 Thank you for covering my favorite movie!!! ❤️❤️❤️
So many great moments in this movie but I think the dinner tops them all….. those dogs…. the judges nose. Thanks for sharing.
Yes it took a min because i dont think i really knew the name of the movie! Great work as always Michael!🎃🎃
This is one of my all time fav 80s films. I have been looking for a copy of this on DVD for 20+ years, but when i mention this film to friends or in shops that sell classic dvds, they dont remember it or never heard of it. With a cast like this film had it should be a cult classic!
The cameo by Digital Underground ft. Tupac Shakur is great
1991. This is in Valencia. SCV Off Interstate 5. I used to drive by the house all the time. It was torn down in the early 2000s. Most of the backgrounds are amazing matte
Love this movie as a kid. Still like this movie. Doesn’t get the love it deserves.
Another one of my favorites that no one seems to remember, I love showing this movie to to people who've never seen it. Everyone loses it with the Demi Moore & Chevy Chase in the spinning bed 🤣
Amazing how you match the sites to the scenes exactly, I dont know how you do that. Great vid, thanks!
I know this is a comedy film, but it somehow stoked the flames for my horror obsession. If you’ve seen it, especially at a young age…. Yooooooou know what I’m talking about. :)
Dude! This is gold. Thank you for doing this. I was in high school when Nothing But Trouble came out in winter of 1991. I have loved the film since first seeing it and I am so glad that others seem to have grown to appreciate over the decades since it’s release. That is so cool you were able to find the draw bridge and that the same 🚂 trestle bridge that was used in the film was also used in lost boys. Fantastic
I can't believe I've never heard of this film or saw it. I love all of the actors. So... New movie 🍿 for me to watch. LOL 🤣 Happy Halloween 🎃🖤
I love this movie! It used to freak me out as a kid. Watched it again at 35. Still freaked out
A family favorite. Definitely felt like a peewees play house meets H.H Holmes murder castle. Thank you for trecking out to show us!!
Omg, lol.... I forgot all about this movie. I'm gonna have to watch it again. Thanks for the tour.
Nothing But Trouble is in my top 5 favourite movies of all time. I quote it daily. It is absolutely fantastic and hilarious. This is very cool.
Great Video! Nothing But Trouble was very underrated dark comedy. Great seeing the famous Lost Boys Bridge and Six Flags Magic Mountain in the distance. Keep up the Great Work!
This is realy cool this is one of my favorite movies that John Candy was in. Him and Dan Aykroyd played multiple parts.
I'm glad that you were able to find the bridge for Nothing But Trouble and showed off the Lost Boys train bridge re-used for Nothing But Trouble. I never knew that Six Flags Magic Mountain was near that same area for those films. Magic Mountain was also used back in 1978 for the TV movie KISS Meets The Phantom Of The Park
Isn't this the bridge from "Stand by me"? You know, "The traaaiiiiiin!!!"
@@gritvoight It's the one from The Lost Boys that Michael and the Vampires hung on and as shown in this video was used in Nothing But Trouble
@@darkavengermanowar. Thank you, I know because watched this video, too. But maybe it was also used in "Stand by me", at least in some shots because there are no rails...
Now that was a bad movie with bad acting.
Thank you great find!!! I love John Candy and love this movie! Very cool!
Awesome movie and love that iconic bridge!!!! So amazing some remnants are still there!
Yaaaahhuuuu😎One of my favourite movie as a child..Thx for your videos they are top noch🙏I watch this movie so many times on VHS..!
dan and chevy knew that the movie would bomb and it sure did
Damn Michael.Nothing But Trouble was one of my child hood favs.I had no idea that draw bridge existed.I thought maybe it was rotting on some studio back lot.You guys are truly amazing at finding these locations.Mind blown!!
Another awesome video Brother! Along with the Star Cast it's crazy that this is the first movie 2Pac was in and the theme song is the first song he was on! I think I also read that some of Nothing But Trouble was filmed in Harrisburg, PA?
Love the theme of your show, old Hollywood film locations!!! Very historic and fascinating. Keep it up.
One of my favorite channels!!!! Well done!
I had forgotten all about this movie, thanks for taking me back there !!

Love this movie. I remember watching it when I was younger and thought it was freaking cool.
I love this funky funny film. It really stood out among the other comedy offerings at the time and not in a bad way. Nicely done, Michael.
It did horribly, but it’s one of my favorite movies! I’ve loved it since high school when it came out! So wonderfully weird!
I love that film we watch it a couple of times a year thank you for doing nothing but Trouble locations
My favorite movie of All Time ! So many people hate it . I owned John Candys costume from the movie for a years when it was for sale on propstore for about $900! Wish I still had it . I about shit my pants when I saw the title of this video ! I would pay to see this in person !!!! Wow . I’m speechless after seeing this . Thanks Grim !!!!!!!!!

KEEP UP THE AMAZING CONTENT! BEEN WATCHING for ages now haha
Ooohhh I love that movie!! Thank you for this video 🥰
Not really a cameo for 2pac. He was an original member of Digital Underground. If you listen to the song, Same song, they throw to him by name in it.
Wow! Just now watching your video / great movie great cast …. Thx for memory lane Mr. Grimm.
Oh yeah, Michael - you and Jessica have a great ‘job’s’! And it all looks amazing through your lens.
