Very neat and well explained. I will try it today I think. Do you ever add a bit of glue to make sure it never slides around? Or wet the leather so that it contracts slightly when drying?

Thank you, I don’t tend to do either I just make sure to pull the thread tightly so not to allow the leather to move

Thanks for answering! I made one already, a tapered hammer handle, and used a bit of double stick tape since everything was a bit awkward to hold. It turned out pretty good, apart from my usual troubles of thread fraying and breaking, not seeing anything up close anymore etc. But the stitching technique is easy and a great addition to my work. Thanks again!

Hi Will, I tried reaching you over email but to no success, your email address was rejected!
I'm wondering, where do you source your leather from? Any shops or stores you prefer?
    Regards

Would be helpful to us low-life bottom-dwellers to explain your tools, and why you do things like paint the edges and what you use so we can learn and take over the world.

Very nice stitch and well demonstrated. But, it’s not really a baseball stitch it’s sort of a double baseball stitch. A proper baseball stitch is made with one needle and single thread. But I do like your stitch.

You lost me at 3:54 at the edit point where I or we could not watch you start the stitch. I'll like your video anyway because you seem cool but dammit man!
