You are an amazing mother. You are patience and supportive. I think you're daughter is cute and adorable. I miss my mom she passed away from cancer in 2015. We would have started a UA-cam channel together. My mom was a creative and smart woman. She gave me opportunities to grow my intelligence because she was above average intelligence. We had a photographer business when I was younger too. She also helped me open a jewelry business when I was 13. I made jewelry for 20 years. I bought diamond's and rare gems from local jewelers and milded my own metal. Makeup also was a big deal in my life. I use to make makeup tutorials . I started with home videos I sold to spas and hair salons back in the early 90's before the internet was available. I have recently tried fake lashes but I am allergic to the glue and lashes. I touched the lashes and my fingers blistered right away. I hate having allergies. I have been diagnosed with a rare condition that causes me to develop allergic reactions to random things.
I'm so sorry you lost your mom. She sounds like a great lady! Allergies are such a pain! Thank you for watching and being a part of my UA-cam community!
I'm just starting to play with magnetic lashes. I regularly have MRI's due to a brain tumour. It would never had crosed my mind not to wear in MRI. Thank you so much. Just subbed, your daughter and yourself are a great duo. Hugs from Australia x

Loved this video! I bought $70 magnetic lashes that don’t stay on well, and they started crawling down my face during a Zoom call... Your tips make me want to try them again!
So, this happened to me with another pair - I did a Tiktok, which of course, went viral (not all of my videos do) and someone said "Dr - I think your eyelash may be falling" and sure enough, the edge of my lashes were not on my eyelid. I was so embarassed!
@@DrRupaWong Oh no!! It had to be on a viral Tiktok of all things... I think I’m going to splurge on the ones you have here, before we see ourselves in a complication video of runaway lashes 😂
Beautiful. You look amazing. The lashes look lovely on. Tried glamnetics and moxielash which found difficult to remove liner with oil based remover. Skin surrounding eyes (upper & lower lids) became very red and sensitive with some swelling. Which was very disappointing and hurt to put any cream except natural oils around eyes. Have you tried castor oil? It works wonderful for growing lashes and is inexpensive. Must use organic.
I use magnetics daily because when I started, I evidentially removed them wrong bla bla bla. Now, I HAVE to wear them because my normal lashes are gone! I am using serums to try and regrow them. Can you please share your medical position to explain what happens to the lashes with such a heavy liner on with these? I ask because regardless of technique, you ALWAYS have a heavy amount of the liner in your lashes. Can they breath or do they drown and stop growing with daily use?
I have a hard time with magnetic liners. They seem to stay on my lash line for days even when I think I’ve removed them all. I’m trying to find an alternative that doesn’t require harsh rubbing since I have Keracotonous and I’m trying to avoid rubbing my eyes. What is your opinion on tubing mascara? I know you did a video on fiber mascara, but I’m really liking tubing mascara as they come off easily. I am hoping they are safe for the eyes.
Can you tell me the measurements of the lashes? I would like to see if I can find something comparable because that particular kit is no longer available. Thank you.
Hi Dr. Rupa! I had multi-focal lense implants done on both my eyes years ago. In your opinion, would magnetic lashes be safe for me to try? I enjoy your videos. Thank you 😊
I had a wicked time trying to get the liner off. Tried soap/water, micellar water, eye cream. Had to resort to coconut oil which made my eyes sore for a couple days. Love the concept of the magnetic lashes though.
Thanks for this video. I’m in Australia and the moxielash magnetic lashes are pretty popular here, the liner contains iron oxide. I’m wondering if you have looked into this brand before and if you have what you think about it? Thanks 😊
I will work on a video about this. Make sure you are subscribed and click the bell so you will see when I post it. Thanks for the suggestion, Aviary! :)
Did you prefer these magnetic lashes over the Lashify? I just bought the Lashify kit because they sit under your natural lashes and are supposed to have a lower risk of putting stress on your lashes and reducing lash loss. Thoughts?
Yes, me too. However the cost of extensions has really blown out so this is a great option. Plus, I think these look better... they look prettier than extensions that often look over the top.
Mine do. Play with them a couple of times before wearing them out so you get comfortable. I hate lash glue but love magnetic lashes. These are by far the best I have tried.
I couldn’t do all that work for lashes that look as short as my natural lashes. But I’m also a 25 mm at all times kind of girl 😂I wanna fly away with my lashes 😅
Thanks for sharing🙏🏽 I checked the site and I that particular kit isn’t shown.Maybe they don’t have it anymore. I’m new to fake lashes and just purchased. Luxillia magnetic lashes. I’m not sure of the safety profile. I will have to do some research. He mentioned something about forever chemicals. 😮
@Dr. Rupa Wong could you possibly do a video on blepharitis and tips on how to manage with it? I struggle a lot with a feeling like something is in my eye and it causes me to rub or tug my lashes which results in lash loss and I hate it. I just have spots with no lashes so putting on mascara looks ridiculous with the sparse areas. I'd love to try the magnetic lashes but I'm afraid.
Thank you for your feedback, Deb. I know it can be difficult when the options are pricey. I will look into more affordable options. Thank you for watching!

Try it and make sure you remove all of the makeup remover very thoroughly. It may clog your oil glands but if properly applied, it shouldn't.
