I usually don't like walkthroughs were the players are talking during the game, but I must say I really enjoyed this one and it made me laugh a couple of times (: Also great skills on this game, it was really useful.

hey jiggy love your vids man, i played this through on gamecube years back but only once, i managed to get s rank in 3 hrs 29 mins 28 sec lol. cheers for the video. and yeah there were a few moments where u took the piss outta rebecca that had me howling, nice mate, silent hill 2 looked really amazing during the pre release trailers, all 60 fps and really great sounding weapons, but when it came to ps2 it was nothing like the trailer made it out so i kinda always preferred the first silent hill, but 2 was remarkable for a psychological horror story/game. still i'd love to see you do a speedrun of an old fav survival horror game of mine, called Martian Gothic, ever played it? makes resident evil look simple in comparison in terms of puzzles lol.
I prefer commentary. Gives you strategy a little better than just watching it.

I agree with Resident Evil 0 being hard, especially on Hard difficulty. But Resident Evil Code Veronica X wasn't all that hard in my opinion. You get a lot of both ammunition and healing items in that game.

Of all the classic RE games RE2 was by far the easiest one, especially Claire's scenario because of how over-powered her grenade launcher is.

How are you finding RE2 my friend? I've achieved S+ rank on all hardcore stories and I must say RE0 hard mode is still the toughest run of all the RE titles on current gen systems.
@@mixnflix101 re2 was good and the new engine was also used on the new devil may cry and must say capcom did a great job with the games.
I did find re0 harder than re2 remake. Only issues I had with 2 was super tyrant on Leon's A scenario and it was more of the fact the arena is so small when rubble falls down that his claw swipes take up 70% of the area.
The new ghost survivors was nice, was bit more challenging simply because your ammo is about 5 bullets along with brand new enemies I never fought in the main game
Im playing this for the first time and Im loving it. I dont know why people say this game has clunky controls I think theyre fine using the dpad. Feels the exact same as playing remastered and code veronica.

I followed your guide and i beat hard mode/got S Rank at the same time. Finish time is 3 hrs and 24 min. i did have some mistakes in the last area but overall im satisfied. Thank you for this guide. Im one step closer to the plat!

Thanks so much Jig, your tips and boss strats are perfect and I managed to get the S on my first run through thanks to your guide and plenty of saves! You made it look a hell of a lot easier than it was though lmao, the last boss fight ended up with Billy running out of ammo in the second part of the fight so I had to sprint over to Rebecca while she was turning valves for the handgun and bullets while they were both on yellow health with no more first aid sprays >.
Awesome as always Jigsaw, found you while doing platinum runs for the Evil within 1 and 2 and your videos were a huge help, informative and fun.

- locusts can be easily killed by shooting them while standing on stairs where
they dont approach u.
- nemsis can be killed with shotgun u just need to direct it upward to his face
it will block him from attack with right timing
- gaint frog kills instantly u can avoid him in bridge by going back to the
ladder.he will go back to water without fight.

frogs don't kill you instantly. you can break free just before they eat you if you mash buttons. not sure which buttons, i just mash em all.

Followed your video for 'zero to hero'. Originally just wanted to get the achievement but also wanting to get through it fast I decided to go for s rank and get the rocket launcher. I saved and wasted some time organizing so my final time was 3:06, well under 3:30 but I was scared at how close it was. Now that zero is completed I'm moving onto 1 remastered and Code Veronica, the latter I have never finished.
Anyway thanks for the helpful walkthrough. Really helped me with the hell that is item management in this game. I also loved your commentary, informative and funny.
Hi everyone. I have been trying for a long time to get the hard mode done. It is also the last trophy standing between me and a platinum for RE0. This playthrough was one of the final ideas I had to get help with beating the game. I failed again!
Even though you played beautifully, your entire playthrough was (at the crucial pounts) based solely on blind luck (avoiding enemies, killing the bat with the least possible number of bullets etc...).
To anyone out there trying to beat this, you will need an absurd amount of luck and almost nothing more for beating this on hard.
What he should have done was showed players where a good spot to save was.
I'm afraid you are completely wrong.
The hard mode run of this game is completely based around conservation of supplies(mostly ammo as there's plenty of health around) and boss strats that are shown in this video.
Beating this game on hard, is solely down to how well you conserve your ammo. Having said that not getting hit in this particular resident evil is difficult to accomplish, it always seems to come down to wether you think you can avoid getting hit or expending bullets to minimise the risk Thats what i love about re0 its much harder than the others imo. Theirs a lot more luck involved too imho.
This is the most realistic walkthrough I've seen

Hunting gun is more powerful it just doesn't hold as much ammo
Less ammo, but more importantly it has a slightly longer barrel if you look close

That's because Wesker mode is always on easy difficulty and you can't get S rank playing easy

Thank you soooo much, this video helps me finally beat Hard mode. I was actually just trying to beat hard mode, I didn't care if I got an S or not on this run, but I still got an S! WOO! now I just need to unlock a couple more weapons and I will have finally got the platinum trophy!

im good at dodging in remake but zero's zombies placement are mostly quite cramped plus i have problems with leech Marcus's tho tho 2 of them are highly skip able .
your run made me more confident with the ammo savings , and yes they did a better job remastering 0 then remake but oh well both finally came out from Nintendo tho its late for the party .

To be honest, I’ve played a lot of the resident evils, but this particular one for me just gives me an eerie feeling when I play it, re1 didn’t, 2 didnt, 3, didn’t (although 3 is my favorite) skip 4,5 and 6, and 7 has a lot of jump scares but other then that, resident evil 0 is the one that gives me the creeps
This one and code veronica were the only ones i couldnt beat on hard... Ur awsome guide made it a hellavalot easier man thanks fer that

I like to use rebecca as a pack mule, give her all the handun ammo, shotgun ammo, grenade launcher ammo and billy carries the weapons

One of my favourite RE0 but the hardest one... fucking rng eliminators when they jump, the Mimicry, the hunters, and damn inventory management specially with the hook the first times... not knowing what the heck to do with the red/green/blue chemical, etc... but I ended loving this game. And I keep playing a lot of times.

Great run I followed it just completed the second tyrant fight these games on hard difficulty actually take a lot of strategy and planning. Shows how well they were developed. Personally I really like Res zero is one of the better ones I rate it around 123cv zero or res4 worst being res 6

Great walkthrough, I've finished Normal (no sprays) and I am going to do Hard next. I hoarded so much ammo it was insane, hopefully Hard will be more balanced and I know I can shoot more zombies than I thought, and save myself the herbs.
For hunters, especially if it's just one, I tend to use a grenade and then finish with a few pistol shots or a shotgun shell, I feel two grenades is overkill.

I recently attempted a run in Resident Evil Zero on Hard difficulty, but I ended up running out of ammunition during the Centurion fight. I tried to knife the Centurion then but ended up dying. I guess I shouldn't have wasted ammunition on all the zombies when I was chucked out of the train. I couldn't even kill all of the zombies. Nevertheless I will have to attempt a new run on Hard difficulty.
Why do you carry the hookshot so long?
I hope someone can help me out.. just completed the game on ps5, earned these trophies "hey queenie feast on this" "from Zero to hero" and "treatment plant complete" .. notification popped up and video and pictures of the trophies too... But for some reason it's all gone... Thophies are locked again and notifications disappeared, all except for the pictures/videos of the thophies
UPDATE : it was a matter of syncing my trophies with ps network, fixed.

With that being said then my question would be all the other resident evils that have a pause feature when you pause them that way too does it stop the game timer on all those games as well?, example does the same apply for all the other resident evils in the series like 1,2,3,CV,4,5,6 and 7? I’m pretty sure this wouldn’t apply only to CV because as far as I know CV doesn’t have an actual pause feature
chaofan106 i dont know 4 100% in Zero. but that doesn't work on any Resident Evil Mode. (well 4 the classics, i know because i speedrun them. But Zero i dont like 2 speedrun soo much...so im not sure if the timer stops with the actual "Start Button"

Alot of people say wesker mode is on easy or at least disabled the rank mode, ain't surprising since weaker is stupid OP

@@enricog3025 yea like I said I think they disable the ranks cause wesker is to OP, zombies die to 1 hit of death stare and a full charge can clear a room, so you can just save ammo til bosses
Can drain you on time some, but I generally take the first 2 tablets so I don't activate the observatory and leave the hookshot in there too so I don't have to encounter the Eliminators, and it frees up your inventory to all but one spot for the 3rd tablet. Like I said, it takes a little more time, but I'd rather try to make up the lost time later than lose 5 inventory spaces. I mean you CAN go back to the mansion, but you have to go through 4-5 Eliminators twice, and they're a pain as it is on Normal. Honestly, the shotgun and hookshot taking up 2 spaces is pretty shit considering in 1 Remake the shotgun only took one space, think they should've compromised and gave Rebecca & Billy 8 inventory slots, especially considering the 'no storage boxes' thing
Still haven’t beaten this on hard mode. Definitely the hardest of the RE games. Idk how some people speed run this game. Super stressful managing two characters and two inventories. Of which one usually has a friggen hook shot in lol.

unfortunately i have no ammo and aid that much and ammo run out immediately when i fight the bat in hard mod i re the game again because i runout ammo and aid i try in this play save some grande round to defeat the bat
