- Today is an exciting day as we finally install the S52B32 into the E34 chassis! I finish up the exhaust manifolds, install the clutch kit and it's go time to put the engine in! Then some Zf transmission bench pressing and shifter install and the main components are done.

Well done on the garage workout session lifting the trans! I STRONGLY recommend wearing eye protection when you’re underneath especially with fluids leaking above your face… you don’t wanna know the consequences of not wearing them
Ive been trying to get better of wearing safety gear. Especially watching sreten. Gloves and eyewear come on a lot more than they used to

It’s interesting how plug and play this is idk what engine the m5 had but it’s almost like bmw wanted to have everything interchangeable since you don’t need too many aftermarket pieces
M5 is completelyyyy different haha. But m3 s52 is almost identical to an m50
Great video man! This definitely gives me motivation to start my S52 E39 build, I’m wondering if it would be similar to a plug and play install since the e39 is a non TU m52 2.8L with racket pinion steering.

Adding the E60 545/550 shifter would've completed the whole setup. I've been rocking it since 2018, it's a must have in my opinion.

Lmao dude I remember almost giving up on my clutch bleed when I had my 92’ 525i I had done many other clutches in different cars and never did they take as long as my e34! I thought i had something failed or broken too and spend all night looking around Miss that car though so bad I’m looking for one to build again but they’re getting so hard to find!

Stay under hood. Rear seat conversion is lots of work not worth it
