Cultural Exchange 2024

The Chinese Levels five and six students at ZCHS have just completed their final online cross-cultural exchange meeting with their friends from Kaohsiung Girl's Senior High School in Taiwan. This time, the meeting was hosted by three senior students, Payton Bohm, Alek Habecker, and Ethan McDonald.
The hosts welcomed everyone and shared some trivia about ZCHS and Indiana with their Taiwanese friends. After that, the students joined their assigned breakout rooms to chat with their group partners. This project has been in place for two years; it involved various tasks, such as creating a video showcasing their living spaces, sharing topic-based experiences via weekly chat, exchanging holiday cards, and participating in three synchronous meetings. Students have given positive feedback and are eager for the next year's partnership.
