Looking at getting one of these for my snow machine - trail clearing!

I bought one last summer and love it! Great little saw.

That seems to be a great little saw and like you said, seems just almost perfect for back country trips.

At 8.8 pounds its easy to use one handed. Not having to start and stop a gas engine is nice but the biggest advantage for me is the lack of noise.

I came back and watched the video again. I think you have convinced me that I also NEED one. lol I have been changing my two vehicle's tires twice a year from winter to summer and summer to winter & I look forward to it with less and less enthusiasm. It is in reality at the level of actually dreading it. Well I just discovered I can get a cordless impact wrench that will take a lot of the labor out of the twice annual tire changes. So I have decided it would be smart to go ahead and get same brand of impact wrench as well as cordless saw so that batteries can be interchangeable. And yes I think you are right. That Dewalt saw will make a perfect saw for hot tent camping/hunting use of which I also do a lot of.

I got a 9 Amp hour flexvolt battery for it and a 14 bar and chain, Those two items make this saw a whole different animal. I really need to redo or make another video.

@@aktrapper6126 If you do make another video of that I will be looking forward to seeing it.

@@Far-North-Bushcraft-Survival Possibly tomorrow, I've got quit a few things to add sense making the first video. I want to compare the 60 volt dewalt saw to the 20 Volt saw. Also show the difference the 9 amp hour battery makes in the 20 volt saw along with the 14 inch bar and chain. Also I've made a wrench that allows you to totally break this saw down as far as you want.

I’ve been contemplating a battery saw. I think it’s in my future but not for a couple years.

They certainly don't replace a gas saw, for putting up a winters firewood gas is still king, but for hunting and camping I think they are perfect. Also they are very handy for cleaning out dead wood and brush.

Главное чтобы в мороз не замёрзла с аккумулятором.

The cold doesn't effect the saw but the batteries are effected, they don't last as long in the cold.

@@aktrapper6126 Thank you for the answer, I have already ordered the same saw, only 18 volts for work at the dacha (the dacha is a small wooden summer house) Thank you again and good luck to you!
