I bought the Kirby’s! I can’t wait for them to get here! I bought two toppers and the blue reflective sunnies! It was $115 before the 10% off so it came to $103.5!! A lot cheaper than the glasses I got at Walmart last year which came to $216 with my $8 frames I chose! I wish I knew about Pair Eyewear before I bought my Walmart glasses but hey, better late than never lol. :)
Looking good! I love the different topper options! I've used Zenni for a couple years now and since I have a pretty simple prescription (nearsighted and not horribly so) and don't get any extras, I can get glasses for like $30 or less. Only downside is, I have a small face, so I have to get what's basically an extra large kids frame which limits the amount of frames available to me 😂. So I love that with these, one good frame can give you multiple styling options!
If I remember correctly, Pair started with kids glasses. I know they still offer them. If you have a simple prescription, you can get base frames for as little as $60, lenses included. My glasses are expensive no matter where I go, so I'm going to be at the upper end of the price range.
Thank you so much for speaking to the quality of the prescription and lenses when looking through them. I've been on the fence about ordering from Pair bc I'm worried that the prescription and lenses are subpar in comparison to glasses from an eyewear store. This video is very helpful! Plus, the sunglasses topper would save me from having to get a separate pair of prescription sunglasses 😊 😎
I am still wearing my Pair glasses daily and haven't had any trouble with them. It's my understanding that you can order empty frames from Pair and have your eye doctor put prescription lenses in them. Maybe check with your doctor to make sure. And I agree that the sunglass toppers are a huge benefit.
Do you feel any extra weight on face with topper on? Can u see the thickness of topper and frame if someone looking at the profile? Would any one be able to tell its frame and topper, or it looks like regular sunglasses? Thanks in advance!
Happy to help! The toppers are very light so I don’t notice the extra weight. Certain color toppers are more noticeable though. I have some bright orange ones that are almost distracting. The other ones I have are fine. As far as profile, I’ve never had anyone say anything so I don’t think it looks too weird. People are often surprised when I show them the toppers; they just see them as regular frames.
Since this video was made, how have you actually liked your progressive lens? Did you need to take them somewhere for any adjustments? The cost goes up dramatically for progressives which is making me apprehensive about ordering them.
I’m still wearing them every day. I understand the price concern. I have the same issue when buying progressive lenses. While I wouldn’t say these were a bargain, they are comparable in price (or even a little less) than buying glasses from my eye doctor. I didn’t have them adjusted.
What does the company suggest you do if they are slipping or need adjusted in some way? These are really cool, but am hesitant about how the fit is tweaked. I appreciate your review and follow up answers to questions. Very helpful.
They sell an ear hook attachment for their glasses that should help. I haven’t had too much trouble with slipping so I haven’t tried the ear hooks personally. Although your eye doctor may not be willing to adjust glasses you bought elsewhere, you could certainly ask.
I am really thinking about trying these out. I had a question. So when it comes time to order I will have to include my actual prescriptions correct? There is an option to enter that information?
Yes, they will ask for your prescription. You may also be asked for a photo of your face with a card that has a magnetic strip, like a credit card or gift card. (You don’t have to show the number!) They use that photo to check pupillary distance. They gave me clear directions for any information needed and were great about answering my questions.
Yes! I didn’t have my prescription so I entered in the info where I got my vision test done and they called for the prescription themselves! Super easy process! I also had to do the credit card thing, very simple process! :)
Yes, I wear them daily and I’m still happy with them. My vision is terrible so I need glasses all day. Good question about the toppers- they stay in place well most of the time. Every once in a while I bump them just right and they come off. It happens a couple of times a week.
How long did it take to receive them from the order date? I ordered my pair on may 20th and it's may 29th and still hasn't been shipped. I hoping to receive it before my trip in the second week of June.
My order took about 3 weeks from order to “delivered”. If you don’t hear anything this week, maybe send a message asking. They’ve been super nice and responsive when I’ve had questions.
@@samarrahimi9668 I emailed about my glasses and was told my order has been processed. Still hasn't shipped yet, I really hope these arrive in time. Let me know if your order gets shipped!

The details and closeup at the end is so great!
Thank you! It’s all information I would want to see in a video.
They look wonderful on you! It looks like the chicken one's are your favorite, you have such a great smile in that photo.
They are so cute! I’m wearing those today.

@@BedeSisters thank you!
I brought some for only 130 60 for just basic and some toppers
Enjoy them! I still wear and love mine.
I will:) just waiting for them to still come
Great review! Thank you!
Happy to do it!

I was on edge about pair eye wear and how well the company was, but this video help me so much! Thank you for the great instruction and walk through.😎

OK so you have the progressive lenses...did you opt for the Premium Plus for an additional $59, I'm wondering if that's necessary.
Premium Plus is the lightweight option, right? Yes, I paid for that because my prescription is very heavy otherwise.
I wear the Casper too!
I love them! And the prescription is excellent.
11 months later , are magnets holding up, and do you still recommend?
Yes, they’ve held up well. I’m wearing them now. The lenses have held up well too, almost no scratches, and I’m normally hard on glasses.

@@BedeSisters thank you for the update :) still trying g to decide wether to bite the bullet and get these as progressive/ extra features add up quick
@@millie210 It’s true that the “extras” add up quickly. For me, it’s a comparable price to my doctor’s office.
