Just like the host here, I was on the fence for at least 4-5 years, and I am writing this comment after completing my first cycle of menstrual cup use. The cup is a life changer!!! It really does not feel like you are on your period. Stressfree, hygienic, and environment friendly! Although insertion was not an issue for me, I did struggle with removal but inserting my finger right up till the rim to relieve suction worked for me. Please go for it!
I watched/listened to this video my first time trying on a cup and yes, it took me about 15-20 min trying to put it in but they're right, you don't feel it and i swear my back pain disappeared right away. Not looking back!
Yesterday evening i got my period... Today morning i recived my menstrual cup...the main reason for opting cup is to save my mother earth... Actually this cup should rech me after my periods... But see how the universe care for you if you started taking care about environment... Ok ... Iam going to use this for the first time... I don't know how it will be
Seriously it changes you life and get to know your body I am using menstral cup since 6 month and I am so relaxed and feel hygiene during my periods.
Very informative, who else is here September 2019
Loved this coz I was one of those user who used pads and it was so horrible for me full of cutts and rashes inner thighs problem during walk n other activities too then i switched to tampons n I need to change them in every 2 to 3 hours so I just switched to cup n it's so satisfying no problem just fly high! Yeah insertion is so painful like hell but after inserting you wont feel anything inside it changed my life 🤞😊
also not to mention when the hairs get stuck on the sticky side...
@@ShiorikoDesu hygiene is imp hope you got the point for me never ever hair gor stuck, n now i use menstrual cup so easy peasy job not struggle for pads and tampons.
True yesterday I used menstrual cup for the first time....for me removing the cup hurts a lot and so painful
I try it first time but I scared if it struck .
I’d like to ask one question and that is, I asked a Gynae if she would suggest that cups are better and she said, “I will discourage anything that needs manual handling.” So, i’m confused now as to If i should be a “cupvert” or stick to sanitary napkins? And also, i want to clear up my doubt about TSS(Toxic Shock Syndrome), do cups cause TSS?
Yes, cups can cause TSS in rare situations. It’s only a problem if you leave your cup in for over 12 hours or for days on end.
I used a cup today and let me tell u this is my best period ever. I don't feel blood gushing down whenever I stand up, don't feel soggy down there, unlike pads and tampons cups don't cause rahes and irritation, totally freedom of movement which pads don't offer, no foul odour(cuz period blood only gives off strong smell when it comes in contact with air), no more uncomfortable and sleepless nights cuz u dont need to change a cup every 3-4 hours and many more. I always thought period were the cursed days in a women's life but now with this cup, they feel just like any other day. Totally recommend getting a cup.
Menstrual cup don't cause TSS if u use them properly. Tampons and pads cause TSS more than any other period product due to all the chemicals used. Plus TSS is rare, so dont worry and just go for it.
It was my first time .. everything was going well, not even a hint of discomfort .. then finally I tried to remove the m.cup and I fainted. After that I stopped using it. Is this something normal??
Are you scared of blood? Blood is normal for females. Be strong.
I tried the cup today and removing it was kinda tricky. Inserting it is rather easy for me. I tried all tips like using a finger to break the suction and all but none worked except one. Squatting. Just squat and put little pressure on lower abdomen and try to push the cup out. When the tip comes out just hold the cup at the bottom and pull it out by pinching it a little. And try to RELAX, it's so fucking important the more stressed u are the more u will clench your muscles down there.
Please speak to a doctor about that🙏
Hlo Mam when M.C is inserted can we sit like ur sitting one leg upon another?
Also can we sleep comfortably side wise or we hv to sleep straight any leakage issues???
Hi! You can sit and sleep in any position if the cup is inserted properly. It should feel comfortable. That's key.
If it doesn't feel comfortable, you may have to size down. If there is leakage, it is usually one of these reasons - size is too small, improper insertion or a very heavy period.
Leakage can be fixed by sizing up and making sure the cup is in place properly. If your period is so heavy that you have to keep emptying the cup every two hours or so, see your OB/GYN as this could be because of an underlying issue.

@@thebetterindia can cups break my hymen?? This the question something that stops me from using cups....
I was happily using M cup since last 3.5 years but 2 months before I had to use pad and then after, when I started using M cup again I felt irritations and swelling in vagina on 3rd it is quite impossible for me wear cup. Also frequently need to go to washroom for urination. Sadly I had to use pad this time as I felt swelling in vagina 😌😌 don't know what went wrong
Same thing with me, I was able to get the cup in but I’m not sure if it is in right, I am a mother but I’ve had C section and I’ve always been very sensitive down there so maybe my cervix sits low??
Is it gud for d girls who have just started with periods . Like for 11 year old girl??
yepp!! there are various sizes available for teenagers, adults who haven't given birth and adults who have given birth. So yes, teenagers and 11 year olds can also use it. More power to you for educating yourself so early 💯💯
I inserted my cup and now am not able to find it inside ? did it go up into the cervix ? Please help
Squat and put some pressure in ur lower abdomen and try finding the cups stem using your fingers. Once u find it press the surface of the cup to let the air or blood out n slowly continue to pull it out using ur fingers n stem of the cup.
Dear did u find ur cup later? How was ur experience? I also wanna use
@@iamblessedpriya775 it's not great in the beginning, but once u get used to it then it's very comfortable n easygoing.
