Hi, I would like to use a 240mm lens on the iPhone 15 PRO, will there be a lot of distortion on the camera where there is only 3x optical zoom? Or is it worth it at all if I don't have an iPhone 15 PRO MAX?
Great to have you onboard. The telephoto cameras are the same on the 15 Pro Max and 16 Pro so the Super Telephoto images look the same. The image at 07:27 was taken with the 16 Pro.
David, great video. I am a backer. Question for you is that I notice you are shooting in RAW. Are you finding better results rather than HEIF or JPG files to work with in post? I am shooting more in RAW these days as I do not like the native over processing that is done with the native Apple camera app.
Hi Dwight. I remember comments from you a few years ago. Thanks for engaging again. RAW is my preferred image format because the quality is much better, details look a lot more natural, I have the most control and it's by far the best format for editing. It's definitely not for those who want a quick snap and the files usually require work though.
@ Yes, same guy! Hope you are well. I agree. I love the editing process of bringing RAW files to life. ProRaw and the other processed photos are over-sharpened. The shadows get buried. The noise reduction gums details up. Thanks for the response! Stay well.
Can I ask a question because you show like the digital difference between the in phone Tele and the 240mm. There i'm fine with the difference but I kinda have a thing in the back of my head that holds me back a bit. And that's the 12mpx censor there where the other Reeflex lenses use the main phonelens. How are they print wise, as in how much / fast would we be upscaling?
With the kick starter if I pay £210.00 is that the final figure? Is this uk dispatched? What filters did you use please or recommend. If the kick starter has finished have you any idea for the price? Regards Darren
Great video. I am new to all this. I am a dad who is always out taking videos of my son's baseball games and track meets. I want to improve things and shoot better videos with my iPhone 13 Pro. I may be upgrading to the iPhone 16 Pro shortly. Will this lens help shoot better videos of these sporting events? If not do you have any recommendations, also what app do you recommend to use with iPhone? Thank you
The Super Telephoto lens is great for handheld, action-style video where you're tracking fast moving subjects. It also works well when locked off on a tripod, so you should like the results when filming your son's baseball games and track meets. The other parents will be jealous! 😎 keep us posted please.

last minute backer :) so glad i did! i am so hyped now to try it with my iphone 16pro. is there a big difference to the 15pro you used in the video.

Photos look amazing 🤩
Would be interesting to see how Panoramas on the 240mm come out.
Very tempting! do you mind posting some full size(12MP) sample from a iphone 15/16 pro's 120mm lens with this teleconverter?
How would you suggest sharing samples? Google Drive?

I'd be so happy to see a universal clip mount for Android phones. I'd love to try this lens on Sony Xperia 1 IV/V/VI's variable zoom telephoto camera.
What about low light video? Does the fact that the lidar sensor is blocked by the lens affect autofocus significantly in low light videography?

We have a video on printing 240mm photos coming soon. Stay tuned!

Is this a 2x that's added to the 5x of the iPhone or is it a 10x that's added to the 1x on the iPhone?
It's a 2x specially designed for 5x telephoto cameras
You have the same name as Bruce Willis' character from that "Moonlighting" TV show from the 80s...
Showing your age there 😉
