I had the courage to stop and get a nice little foot stool from the side of the road after watching Sammie J and Tucker. When I got back into the car, my husband said Go back and get that frame. Haha.
years ago i was working as a shipwright and marine mechanic and was not really into dumpster-diving, but i was amazed at some of the stuff that i happened to find in and around the dumpsters at the marinas that i worked where wealthy people kept their yachts. when used yachts change ownership most of the time the new owners will remove anything left behind by the old owners and toss all of it in the dumpsters, i've found everything from power tools to tv sets to fishing gear to sewing machines to outboard motors etc. etc. etc. that was all perfectly good, working stuff that was just thrown away. it showed me that the wealthy care so little about the poor that they would rather have their discarded stuff end up in a landfill rather than take the trouble to donate it to people who could benefit from it. that's the world we live in, you are not good enough to deserve a rich man's garbage......
as a person who has been around a lot of throw aways I know that different people have different reasons for throwing stuff away. Maybe all those people thought like you said but it's also possible they did not want to go through the hassle of dealing with tons of questions....and organizing pick ups etc. The one thing that does get to me is even if they don't want people collecting it why they could not donate it but then again as someone who has seen how fussy some thrift stores can get due to be overwhelmed maybe they threw stuff out hoping someone would collect it. So my question is did you end up taking any of the stuff and if so, what did you end up doing with it?
Well you both got some amazing finds, those tiny jars can be hung from tree branches with candles inside them, you two are so good together like soul mates just love watching you both, you are what love and marraige is all about team work, love you both , Anna from Ireland.
1) Teamwork makes the dream work!! 2) The smile on Sammie's face when she burned the lurker was PERFECTION :) 3) Among the more offensive things my father said to me a few years ago when I had the sense to pick a massive warehouse he was just gonna pay to have emptied and sent to the landfill, was: "I didn't raise you in the spirit of poverty. Why are you taking home trash?" WHAT? What is impoverished about taking home truckloads of brand new padded envelopes, boxes, tissue paper, unused industrial coffee pots, roll after roll of packing tape, reams of unused printer paper, the industrial shelving I use for my inventory, a bunch of dead computers my kid rebuilt, a dozen monitors... That's just effing smart. I almost NEVER pay for shipping materials. My kids understand the joy of taking something someone else left behind and turning it into something useful and/or beautiful. And making money on something I got for free and kept out of the landfill is a win Win WIN. What's impoverished is looking at everything as potential trash instead of potential treasure; putting a bike with a flat tire or rusty chain in the trash instead of fixing it; thinking that out of sight out of mind for you isn't a burden for someone else. The work you do allows you two to spend time together that most never get, gives you excitement when you hit a score, and helps the community and the earth. Real riches have nothing to do with a fat bank account. And you know that lady was like, that girl is strong and gorgeous I straight up hate her (HA!). Love you guys so much!! Big hugs
Oh I love this comment so much and have so much to say to it but later as right now I have to get some things done...one of which is allowing my mom to use this computer...which....more later
That round aluminum tray is a 1940 era tray, made by military men after war as part of rehab. Stamped on the back is the insignia of their branch of service.
I laughed so hard at you getting that raft. It was like you were wrestling an alligator. You two crack me up and give me so much enjoyment. Stay as nice and kind as you are and true to your dream.
Another great pick! The first dresser you guys got, I’m so jealous! Gorgeous! Sammi must be really good at Tetris! She can pack like no one‘s business!
I find that, if you remove the drawers on big furniture like the dresser, they're easier to lift and maneuver. Little extra work, but better than ending up at the chiropractor with a herniated disc.
Saw your TV Commercial for Recycling the other day here in North Wildwood. I was like OMG that's Tucker and Sammie J. from UA-cam, LOL! You guys are moving up in the world of Video! Awesome! That was fun to watch, LOL! You guys were great!
@21:03 Collector plates are useless but that metal plate should be checked for a Wendel August Forge mark. Those are worth money. So is good pottery if you ever run into it. @29:12 That’s a really nice dresser! Great find! Those are extremely heavy but that’s what’s so great about those. They last forever if they aren’t abused.
I found your channel last week.when I had mouth surgery. And I Iove you guys already. You are genuine and so down to earth. Definitely my kind of people.
Just wanted to let you guys know I subscribed a long time ago but I lost my phone and I had to get a new one and I just resubscribed, very inspirational what you guys do, and great content I watch all your videos, true Americans God bless be safe out there
Hi Australia here, my husband and myself have been picking for over 20 years. Make a bit of money and have a lot of fun. The pickers I hate are the ones that cut the electrical cables off and vandalise the items. We are into old audio stuff and have a great collection. All the best to you both I am new to watching. Be save
Oh my...it's so weird I read this comment. I saw a carpet cleaner that I debated about picking up but whoever put it out cut the cord or someone did. I was going to see if I could fix it but then decided against it because I wasn't sure I would get around to it.
@@moniquevandeplas5210 Hi we have found just lately LG vacuum Cleaner with spare battery and all the bits and pieces, 2 weeks later found another. In the pas,t 2 golf buggies in different places in 2weeks. $250 each ( could have ask more but was quick turn over) A mobility scooters with charger and receipt from purchase and like new, got $600 for that. I could go on on, People put out stuff I can not believe but very happy to pickup and make a bit of money on. Thanks for asking all the best
I love this what people that have money leave out by their curbs! And it's funny when you don't take the trailer you really need it ! That's just the way it goes!💕
Such scores within the first few things! Thats y its worth taking the trailer!! Just plan on maybe parking walking checking the super busy blocks.Could you imagine leaving those scores behind cause no trailer. Super score on table and benches!
Sammie could do her painting on furniture again. White is so popular along with a few other colors right now. Chalk paint is great, you have to seal it but not a big deal to do.
Great scores guys,Sammi you had me cracking up laughing with the "You want too take a picture"Lol!! Tucker that raft will clean up nice dude with some warm water and dawn dish soap..✌️🤙👍
the chrome breadbox would have been an easy 25-35$ flip, pick up the wood ones, too! great video! just saw the Homeschool Picker pick up a similar bike to the Mongoose, worth $900, it was in great condition, but yours might have some good value!
Glad you all brought the trailer. Just the dresser set would have had you driving home. The trailer may be more of a pain but you can make the trip worth it. Awesome claims!
Dude, that mongoose in good condition is going for up to 1,000 and it's from the 80's. Pure gold. Somebody will want to restore it and it wont take a whole lot. #PUREGOLD YEEEEEW!
Pro picker tip: for the dresser you didn’t have room for, since you had the trailer on, take a couple or all of drawers. That way no one will take it with the drawers gone. Did that with a recliner once. Was packed down with bo room left but fit the back of the recliner in went back for the large bottom rocker later 😂
Love you two! There is serious treasure a lot of times that people throw out. I've found a number of things that are super cool to me like vanity benches that I recovered, mirrors, paintings, shelf units. I'm subscribing because I love listening to you and seeing what you find. Keep up the good work!!!
I enjoyed the video, saw the comment further down about taking the drawers out of the dresser so that it might be there when you come back for the rest of it, thought that was a good idea, 100k subs very soon. Peace
I was hoping y’all would take that wicker table with the glass on top!😅 I was literally screaming at the tv for y’all to take, if I was closer to y’all I def would have bought from you!!😂❤
I love the patio set at the 14:00 minute mark. Beautiful and practical....well as long as you keep it somewhere where you don't have tons of pine needles (like our yard) or leaves falling on it.
Good call. We are actually happy someone grabbed it to enjoy it that was a great piece and much better to see it go to use then to the dump. Too many great pieces of furniture get wasted.

Put battery operated tealights in those glass holders and place them down the center of the white table on your back patio very pretty.

Yeah also check for August Forge on the bottom that brand are worth $$$$
That last little end table/dresser was fire🔥
Its Nice When People are not Snobs and will help you like that

And all on Memorial Day.... those gals and guys gave their lives for people like you. Thank you for what you are doing. 👍👍👍
Those are nice topiaries. Loved the outdoor table, benches, and 4 chairs. Awesome score!

The first guy was so helpful and lovely 🥰
Yes he was nice!
Finding that dingy made seem like a little kid finding his treasure chest. He was so cute.
@11:20 I like how the word 'Dream' light's up on the tail gate.
Love the table and benches and chairs. That would look so nice on your back deck/porch.Great scores today!
Those plants look super nice if you put clear Christmas lights on them all year round
Shout out to Sammie for being such a tough lil gal. And Dude I am like just let the air out of the boat...
Sammy J, you are getting very good at determining what is worth taking.
Another great video, thank You for sharing.

Love the white table and chairs. You could strip it and do so much to make it look magnificent. Wish I was close to you I would totally buy that.

Gorgeous tall boy dresser !!
I thought Sammie was waving at a UA-cam fan! I think it’s a river rafting white water boat. The chrome bread box is easily $35 on ebay
I love this what people that have money leave out by their curbs! And it's funny when you don't take the trailer you really need it ! That's just the way it goes!💕
Hey guys, take the raft to a self serve car wash, between the foaming brush and high pressure rinse it will look like new.
Good idea. May just post it as is and let them deal with it if they want it.
The Panasonic bikes appear to be more high dollar, you might check into it before selling that one for $20.
The tall "dresser" is an old chest on chest. The wood under that is likely awesomely beautiful. That would likely be so well built! A real classic!!!
Such scores within the first few things! Thats y its worth taking the trailer!! Just plan on maybe parking walking checking the super busy blocks.Could you imagine leaving those scores behind cause no trailer. Super score on table and benches!
Can u guys do a video of stuff you picked and how much you sold them for!?!

Great finds. Smile I have brown eyes too and they are very sensitive to the sun. So I wear very dark tinted sunglasses or the colorful mirrored ones
Glad you brought the trailer. Looks like a great day.

Really nice haul! I gotta hit a beach town bulk day this summer..
Panasonic bikes sell for a lot actually, because they are discontinued and vintage. The last models rolled out in 1989 and then ceased production.
That raft didn't look like much but I think may bring some money!! Great picking !
Next time you might want to grab a drawer or something from furniture you're going back for, then it is unlikely that someone else will take it. :)
Good call. We are actually happy someone grabbed it to enjoy it that was a great piece and much better to see it go to use then to the dump. Too many great pieces of furniture get wasted.
