I wanted Minecraft for 12 years and FINALLY got it in January of this month after being told that it was evil for more than a decade. The struggle's real when it comes to trying to fill that "void" with knock-offs

That's the thing, every game is technically stealing from another game. But there are clones, then there are remixes. The games in this video are 100% clones. They copy Minecraft but don't do anything new. Minecraft itself is a remix. It's similar to Infiniminer, but at the same time it's totally different because they actually added their own unique ideas. It's how genres are formed.
There's one called "survival craft" and I think it tops the Minecraft at survival. It's kinda similar to Minecraft but the experience is different. Crops can fail, enemies run away when they are low on health. Getting food is kinda hard in that game also. Don't even mention the temperature system. And don't even think about getting iron on the first day. It's hard AF. Armors that actually protect you like a shield but will sink if it's heavy. 😂

Removing one dimension actually benefited Terraria a lot. It's different enough from Minecraft to warrant trying it out and allowed for many features that would be hard to code or annoying to a player in 3D. But it lacks the simplicity of Minecraft. Minecraft is very approachable and you do not need to know all the obscure things about it (and I'm not even talking about redstone and quazy connectivity. Archeology for example. You just have to know it exists) to enjoy it and build yourself a great world. Now Terraria feels like it's just a compilation of obscure things :D

In defense of blockcraft 3D, as someone who played it when they were young. The game is extremely fun WHEN YOU ARE YOUNG. I would never play it now, especially since I have actual Minecraft now, but when I was younger it was the best game ever, because building with the tutorial was fun, and making your own village was fun. Not to mention, there are people who made some REALLY amazing things in the game, since you are able to visit other people’s villages.

block craft 3d building game is what i grew up on and if you play it for long enough it gets pretty fun you start with like 34 of every block and then when you run out of a block you have to mine for it so your incorrect there and the goal is to buy building templates and or build your own and if you build enough huts you can start buying people with gems to live and there is not only hut templates you can also find templates made by other players like in my city i had a huge death star above me at all times i dont no why i have not played that game in years but watching this video was xtreemly nostalgic thank you for the memory i lost jackson
