Hey MrNYSauce, thank you so much for sharing your recipes. I am making your yams, cornbread dressing, Mac n cheese and collards this Thanksgiving 2024. I can’t wait, my family is going to love love love I will be sure to let you know how everything goes. Happy Holidays to you and your Fam. ❤
I love candied yams. But never made em. I usually do a sweet potato casserole for Thanksgiving. But I ain't getting any younger. This is looking pretty appealing to me! Thanks!
Just how my ma taught me. She came from a European background...nothing better than those taters the next day with a hot open faced turkey sandwich and some cranberry sauce on the side.
This looks really good and easy. When I was a kid, my Auntie used orange juice, and cooked them in a pot on top of the stove. Do you have a similar recipe for candied yams?
That sounds good! I don’t have a recipe including orange juice, but I would suggest that if you want to put some in, put it into the sauce while melting the butter. 🙂
Yummy
Oh, yummy!
Love ❤️ some delicious candied yams 🍠 😋😋
I never seen them made this way. I will cook this for our next family gathering.
Looks yummy. Imma try them this year. 😋🤤
I’m liking you videos

I didn't see the measurements for the ingredients e.g. nutmeg, vanilla, ginger etc.
I made this twice. Both times it was amazing! Thank you for your recipes. FYI ..you forgot the white sugar in the description 😁 ❤️
