    I love greens! Usually people add a lot more seasoning to greens, and it tends to overpower the taste of the greens. Sometimes less is more! 👍🏽 I’m going to have to try your version. Thanks for sharing and God bless! ✝️✝️✝️

    These greens were pretty good. I am not used to using smoked turkey. I have always used pork so the greens tasted very different. I will prolly add more ingredients when I make these again. TFS sweetie❤❤😊😊

    Man I love your videos bro. The mac and cheese one, the potato salad one and I'm finishing up on my collard greens as we speak.
    Next video I gotta watch and try is the one you made for fried chicken. I appreciate you. I'll be the man by next Thanksgiving. Lol

      Had another question for you man.....would you cook mustard greens this exact same way? Btw the buttermilk fried chicken I made from your video was probably the best I ever made.

    May I please know why you cut off all of the stem?

    • @Mr.NYSauce
      @Mr.NYSauce  Рік тому +2

      I cut them because, the stems are bitter which will make your greens taste bitter and also because they don’t get tender enough to chew. They would have to be cooked longer and your greens will be over cooked and mushy. 🙂

      i love garlic green peppers and red peppers! and i fry in olive oil with meat then cook with minimum water too much water to me takes from flavor

    This is really a healthier recipe. Where I'm from the way greens are prepared there is nothing healthy about them. They'll have you biting your fingers, but you cannot eat them everyday! 🤣

    As a black woman from the south...a few things I do differently:
    1. Instead of water and bullion, I cook the greens in chicken stock.
    2. I don't buy smoked turkey from the grocery store...I buy mine from a butcher. Totally differently flavor.
    3. I dice a whole onion and some fresh garlic.
    For a meatless and quicker option, I sauté the greens, onion, and garlic in some olive oil add some pepper, season salt, and ground cumin to taste. I put those same seasonings if I'm cooking the greens with meat in a pot. 🤌🏽
    And....I'm not sure why black people think greens have to cook all day. 😂✌🏾🥂
