    December 2021 Update:
BAM will be discontinuing at the end of 2021.
They will enter into a “hibernation period” for about 3 months and then around April they are looking to create a new platform that is totally compliant.
But they can’t do that unless people continue to pay the $33.33 a month because Aaliyah can not afford to support the company out of pocket anymore since she put in $250,000 of her own money into the BAM platform and lost $130,000 from a retreat that had to be cancelled due to the pandemic.
The reason they are shifting away from the BAM platform is because of compliance issues. Enagic contacted them and said that the BAM platform is not compliant. Distributors are not allowed to host a website that discusses Enagic or Kangen unless it is an “Enagic EWS website”.
Their sales funnel links that are connected to videos they make about kangen are not compliant because they’re not allowed to share videos or marketing material at all in a way that makes money like with a sales funnel. Enagic found out about this a couple weeks ago and suspended all of Aaliyah's accounts and prohibited her from earning any income for 30 days.
In order to get her accounts back, she has to shut BAM down and send proof that she did that to Enagic compliance.
But also the BAM team had been discussing transitioning away from the breakaway movement brand for a couple months because the reputation is tarnished online. They are currently at 523 paying members which she said is a fraction of it used to be.
Their new brand is going to be called “Net(Worthy)” which is for all network marketers affiliated with any company.
This information is from a Vimeo video linked in an email sent out from BAM.

It feels like Christmas again to not only be recommended this video today, but to then scroll down and see this update posted only hours ago. Or maybe just Algorithmas.
Thanks for digging through the mud for us, really well constructed and I appreciate the respectful attitude you approached the subject with (though 25:08 made me laugh). I wish there were a foolproof way to get through to people caught up in these groups, or really caught up in anything where they are convinced to move their ethics aside in the pursuit of "success".

you did mention it briefly but holy cow the fact these women are living in hawaii just adds another dirty grimey layer to their filthy tactics and fakeness. i hate it so much. they are literally part of the reason native hawaiians are pushed into poverty and pushed to seek life elsewhere and yet they'll say anyone not as wealthy as them just "has a negative mindset" absolutely not get the hell out of hawaii 😡😡😡😡 they do not belong there and im so sad for the natives who have to deal with these awful humans living among them...

He warns repeatedly against using it for evil. BS, they are already severely lacking in empathy, probably a personality disorder that is drawn to this type of business. This is so depressing!!! Anyway, I love a regular job. I have tried other side businesses, but in no way would they ever replace my primary job - I wouldn't want them to! I just wanna cook good food & paint in my spare time. I agree. I really thought I wanted to work for myself (probably because I used to follow so many of these "influencers") I quit my job in 2018 and it's been so so hard trying to get my own business going. It's so much more work than people portray. I ended up getting a temp office job last November and I loved having a boring job and chatting with my coworkers then being able to leave the office and do whatever I wanted and not have to worry about where money is coming from. I think people really need to be shown the true behind the scenes of this "work for yourself dream".

I have self-employed family members and they are well on their way to 9-5 because it was just impossible to keep their business.

I always thought I would enjoy working from home or working a non-traditional job...until COVID happened and I was furloughed. I became a full-time nanny for four months and had a ton of flexibility with my schedule, but it honestly made me realize how much I thrive from a 9-5 day job.
It sounds crazy, but some people need that extra push of "I have to wake up and go to work" in order to keep their momentum going. When I didn't have that push, it was so much harder for me to wake up and get anything done, even though I had more time to be productive and more time for hobbies.
There's a reason that 9-5 jobs are standard. Obviously they aren't for everyone, but a lot of people enjoy their day jobs and I hate this mentality that 9-5 jobs are inherently evil.

A woman in her early 20s approached me in a bookstore about my outfit. I’m pretty chatty so she then started talking about her great mentors. She took me on a couple little coffee dates. We discussed the books go giver and Robert Kiyosaki’s MLM book. She was 10 years younger than me so it was so funny. I stuck around out of curiosity. But I knew something was off. But I was reading a lot of law of attraction at the time so I wanted to see what it was all about. When she finally revealed the whole thing, I said the amway products were not priced better than I get at Costco or target so i know I’d never sell a single item. So therefore why would I join. She kept trying to get me to admit I did not want to make money or I didn’t believe in myself and I said of course I do but the business model is flawed. Then I urged her to cut her losses and leave. I can't talk to her for one second before the conversation turns to money or amway because she's trying to convince me to join, or if I have any problem in life amway probably has a product to solve it.. she even has sticky notes on the fridge with mantras about money because that's how you manifest it into your life. And yet she's poor, just retired and stocking up on 150$ vitamins since she honestly believes that's some premium quality magical cure. 150$ is like a third of a minimum wage here where I live and no one will buy it but she refuses see the reality that she isn't really making any money despite being in the business for over 5 years. She's just as poor as she was before.. now that I think about it, I bet she was trying to sell that stuff to her patients too since she worked in a lung disease unit.. it's horrible how easy it is to brainwash desperate people.. my aunt's whole life revolves around amway now, and she thinks she's successful because amway invited her to some bs trip to their branch office 😑

Checking Back In With The Breakaway Movement video is out: ua-cam.com/video/uTAS51IP9aE/v-deo.html
In it, I share some stuff I couldn't fit into my first video as well as updates like which BAM top dogs blocked me after I posted this video and Aaliyah learning and admitting that Enagic is an MLM.
    ____
OCTOBER 2021 UPDATE: Enagic has finally put out an income disclosure statement. According to this document, the median income for all US distributors in 2020 was $440 (median= half made more, half made less). Only 1/3 of distributors made more than $1,000 in the whole year. This is certainly better than some MLMs, but still clearly not amazing stats.
6A is considered a high rank in Enagic, it's like you've "made it" in the company once you reach it and it's promoted as being a rank where you make a lot of money. The median income for 6A distributors was $5,710 though. Insane. You can make more working part time for minimum wage.
2020 US Enagic Income Disclosure Statement:
    @t

Update: I was just rewatching this video and realize that at 11:46 I say that there was a study ‘done by the ‘FTC’... this is not true. The study was done independently by Jon M. Taylor but is available on the FTC website.

@No Name "We had a decent life here 30 years ago, but you probably weren't even born then"
Unless you're a male, white, heterosexual conservative you could not come to the conclusion that 30 years ago life was better than today (btw I am a male, white hetero, too). We have a lot of problems, and new problems / challenges arose in the last 30 years e.g. because of new technology or the rise of autocratic leaders. But I can still appreciate - in the grand scheme of things - the improvements that society accomplished.
I do not pretend to not be overwhelmed by the news and changes that we have to deal with. But I think it is the wrong strategy to romanticise the past and to react to fear with anger.

I read something once about money that was spot on, it said money is like air - when you have all you need, you never think about it. But when you have very little or none, it's all you think about.

Since January of this year, I have been researching The Breakaway Movement and even joined it for a couple months to really get an idea of what goes on in the community.
It was worse than I ever could have expected, which is why I spent so long working on this video.
I hope that those who have come across this group can use this video (and the one about kangen water) to be able to make a more informed decision regarding whether or not this is something they want to join. I also hope other creators can use the information in this video to talk about it on their own platforms because more people talking about this means less people just getting the members one-sided description of the group & "opportunity."
If this video gets taken down, it’s because one or more of the members only want their one-sided description out there and feel threatened by someone exposing the things they probably know don’t make them look the best. Not my problem. Do good things and you won’t have to worry about people finding out about what you do.
And it would be a false take down because everything in this video falls under fair use and is within YT guidelines. But I wouldn’t put it past them to not read youtube policies or intentionally trying to get it taken down knowing it doesn’t break any rules. I’m really not that concerned about it though, I’d just re-upload it + redo whatever part was the “problem” in a different way.
I will be making a part 3 to this series eventually because I still have like 50 pages of notes and I wasn't able to fit some of the most horrible/disgusting or alarming things in this video but they really need to be talked about. That one will be shorter or maybe I'll just make a few in like a mini series style.
This video isn't really meant for BAM members who are deep into the group so I'm not really trying to convince you guys of anything- I think that would be futile- but I am 100% open and happy to have a conversation with any of y'all if you'd like! Preferably via IG DMs-that's easier than YT comments or email for me. If you wanna talk with me about anything related to this subject, DM me, I am more than willing to having a conversation with anybody w/ any opinions or experiences.
Or if you'd like to correct me on something I said in the video that is incorrect, I would greatly appreciate that & will add corrections below this ↓
(Sorry the live chat replay is off for this video- it says it's on in my video editor so I'm not sure why it's like that)
    __
Clarification: Just because I say women tend to be more naive doesn’t mean I am putting women down or being misogynistic or saying all women are naive and all men are logical and rational. (But also I just went back and realized I didn't use the word 'tend' in the video, it was in my script though so that's what I meant to say)
Either women tend to be more naive than men,
Men tend to be more naive than women,
    Or it’s equal.
And I also should have clarified that that statment I was making was more situational because I think there are other situations where men tend to be more naive or think less rationally and more emotionally.
I also do not think it's a bad thing to think emotionally, I think emotional and rational thinking are both useful.
But I am totally open to being wrong so you can DM me if you wanna chat about it. I don't often read or respond to comments from videos that are not recent so a comment in response to this one will likely go unseen.
Correction: there’s 2 times in the video where I say “web class” but mean biz comp video
“In the web class, Aaliyah also says…” when talking about that vid and “Aaliyah says that in the web class out of nowhere…” in the ‘you are here for a reason’ part. Originally I had written out things I wanted to say about the web class w/ Aaliyah and Macy but then I thought they changed it to the biz comp one so I had to quickly redo that part of the video (leading to lazy work)… and while I was right about the fact that they had changed it.. even though I had seen the current web class w/ Molly + Zoe, I somehow thought at the time of filming that the biz comp one was the web class. I don’t know why- I had 100+ pages of notes, 1000+ screenshots so that probably contributes to the many little errors I made in the video & had to go back in and fix or will have to update here. I apologize for those and do not want to spread false of confusing info- but there was just so much info it was hard to keep track of everything.
Correction 2: When I talk about 350 members at the start of BAM at around 16.45, I don’t believe all of those people came over from CEO. Some did, but not all. Someone sent me some videos from Karen a while back where she talks about joining BAM and tells her downline that if they sign up to BAM before a certain time then they never have to pay the monthly membership- so I’m guessing the 350 individuals are everyone who signed up to BAM right at the beginning before it was like open to the public if that makes sense.
Correction 3: the 11.5 pH is used for reducing pesticides from produce, not the 2.5
Update: “Clarice” is no longer in BAM and has a platform called “We Soul Rich” which I believe is due to her transition away from new age spirituality and into Christianity.
Update to controversies part: They added a thing to the checkout area where you have to check a box acknowledging that you will be mentored by the person who you watched the webclass through- so that's good!
Clarification: One of the reasons I include things from people who aren’t really BAM members anymore is because when I started following these people in Jan/Feb… Macy hadn’t yet created FLM, Tara hadn’t yet created KYW, I didn’t know the founds of CCO were the founders of CCO because their content is so similar to BAM members except a little more anti-vax so I had a lot of info on these people that I wanted to talk about and felt was important to talk about regardless of whether or not they’re in BAM because it’s not really about BAM as a platform, it’s about the *actions* taken by these people who are all promoting the same things and doing the same stuff.
Something I had intended to clarify in my script but didn’t for whatever reason (probably forgot) was that, like I say in the video, it’s not like I think these people are sociopaths and don’t care about anyone else- BUT the problem is: they do have a lot of altruistic traits like being interested in sustainability and ethical practices and all that stuff and those qualities make people think that they couldn’t possibly ALSO be greedy and selfish and willing to do things to benefit them at the expense of others. People are not all good or all bad. I’m sure these people all have tons of good qualities and are very caring at certain times to certain people, but their actions do not *fully* reflect the values of who they portray themselves to be. Sometimes, even when presented with an opportunity that you believe could make you a MuLti SiX FiGuRe BuSiNeSs OwNeR, you don’t take it because you educate yourself on the business model and learn that you would be making that money at the expense of other people. That is why it is so important to understand that Enagic is an MLM and understand why that is a problem.

So my freshmen year of college I was a huge fan of the “you” girl who goes by plantifulsoul. I was also in a major depressive crisis as I had just moved out of my home town. I remember watching one of her videos on her experience in Hawaii and breaking down. I called my mom hyperventilating and crying because I felt like I was doing it all wrong and that I could be living this life in Hawaii and being happy... if my mom were different (or weren’t there) maybe she would have encouraged me to drop out or maybe I would’ve made the choice myself. Maybe I would’ve bought into this shit and gotten into huge amounts of debt. I’m probably in the same amount of debt now that I would’ve been if I chose that lifestyle but the difference is that I get mental health help for cheap on campus, I have a job lined up for me that is sustainable and altruistic (nursing). And I am the best mentally I have been in a long time. I can’t imagine how differently my life would’ve gone if I tried to follow plantiful soul’s scheme....

I started watching this video, not out of interest for BAM (I had never even heard of it before now), but out of love for you. And then, I was hooked. I have spent YEARS dreaming of living the life that those girls are living. I felt that my spirituality was challenged because I wasn't "financially free" and because I can't afford to travel, let alone live abroad. Its so dumb, but I completely lost touch with my spirituality because I just knew that a life on Bali eating fruit that's accessible year round is not possible. I can't believe I let myself get to this point. I don't want to get too rambly, but my point is this: By making this video, you have reminded me that their lives are unrealistic to the majority, not just me. I can be spiritual and live in Wisconsin. I can be spiritual and struggle with mental health disorders. I can be spiritual and work hard for my money. Thank you SO much for making this video. I don't think this is at all what your intention was by making this, but just know that this video has singlehandedly pushed me back into a place of wanting to practice my spirituality again - in the comfort of my small Wisconsin apartment. ❤️

Wow...your story you shared was so powerful. Thank you for having the courage to do so.
I'm so glad to hear you've rediscovered your spirituality. A connection to something bigger is for all of us who want it. I'm very poor, disabled, and only eat junk food. But I feel like a millionaire because I feel so fortunate to be connected to something that transcends the body. And is our human inheritance.

Forgot to add that I also struggle from many mental disorders. And there is no shame in that. And I also know that doesn't make me any less of a person. In fact, spirituality can be tempered bye emotional suffering. It strengthens the blade of our souls.

This is the best way to make anyone listen, by not provoking them. Love it 👍👍❤️❤️

So I invested a bunch of my salary on safe stock options and just put a downpayment to my own apartment.

While it's sound financial advice and will probably lead to a personally prosperous life, there really isn't an ethical way to engage with capitalism. And the more you invest the more you empower it.
75% of species on earth are endangered due to human meddling in their climates/overfarming/trophy hunting. Climate change is already having disastrous effects on the entire world.
What I'm getting at from this aside is something that's bugged me for a while. Currently I work full time and save my money until I can decide what to do with it. I live well within my means.
But something in my gut tells me that if I start investing and building wealth I'll also me morally implicated in whatever damage my invested money ends up enabling in the world, however indirectly. In an even more abstract way, the more money I commit to my own growth, the more I buy in to a capitalist system, the more I feel I become responsible for perpetuating a system which is unambiguously destroying the world.
It's not like I think my impact on the world will be to individually end a species or cause an oil spill or something like that. It's more of a moral consistency thing. If I start using the capitalist system I often criticize as a tool to elevate myself, can I justify continuing to criticize it? With ever dollar I invest, don't I become an infinitesimally larger part of the problem? Is there ethical consumption under capitalism? Is the existence of wealth itself immoral?
These are the kinds of concerns that stop me from investing my money much more than a desire to break out of 9-5 cycle or whatever. I don't really mind that. What scares me most is reaching old age and realizing my existence on this planet did more harm than good. And being out of time to rebalance those scales.
