  • With all the oil and smoking issues that I went through, better safe than sorry. Might as well add the second catch can. Here's how to install you vacuum side oil catch can from Burger Motorsports.

    Nice work man. Do you keep the pcv valve in still with this vacuum catch can set up ? Or do you delete the PCV value and fit the pcv adaptor to the catch can?

      The kit comes with everything you need to delete it.

    Thanks for the diy. Definitely going consider the relocation when doing this now seeing it’s in the way.
    I noticed you did your vac lines, about to do mine as well. Were you able to get the lines down to the turbos? Only part that has me a bit nervous.

      No problem. I didn't go all the way down to the turbos because I wasn't sure what heat the lines could handle.

      @@n54andmore56 if you get the forge ones from ECS, they are good. But just like any lines they would need to be replaced every 50k or so.

      ECS is so expensive sometimes that I barely even look on there for stuff.

      @@n54andmore56 for sure. Spend $50 get free shipping and it’s super quick. I try and get most parts from fcp for that warranty, but ECS has a wider selection of aftermarket I feel, especially for the 335i n54 platform.

    Notice a difference in smoking from solely adding the vauum occ?

    • @n54andmore56
      @n54andmore56  2 роки тому +1

      Nope, the smoking was caused by shaft play inside the turbos so nothing but the turbos fixed it.

    Bro what fittings are those? can you buy them separately from ebay

      I think you can but BMS is probably the best route.

    So I shouldn’t cut the line?

    • @n54andmore56
      @n54andmore56  2 роки тому

      Not unless you're sure of the routing. I would wait until you know exactly where it's gonna go. I had to adjust mine after I already cut the line.

    Hi, where did you get the red OCC from? Cheers.

      @n54andmore56  Рік тому +1

      I got it on Ebay, just search for "red billet aluminum oil catch can BMW N54"
