We feel so lucky to have met you both when you traveled through Ithaca, NY, even having a chance to pet Patti! The pandemic has changed us all and yes, given us new priorities. A trip out West for us has moved way down on the list... maybe someday.
Though I miss living vicariously through your wanderings in the Airstream your evolution to a bricks and mortar lifestyle has been equally interesting. The AZ desert has always held a fascination for me, especially the notion of living comfortably off grid. Your timing to settle couldn't have been better given the current challenges, especially to full time travelers. Your resolve to stay put for awhile combined with travel that includes family and friends makes so much sense to me. I think its the perfect combination. Courtney, your question "Who knows where we'll be in 20 years?" made me smile. By then who knows what travel might look like. I look forward to sticking around for what's next. I got hooked on your travel videos, of course, but I have enjoyed watching you develop your desert outpost in so many ways. Circumstances change and you change with them as we all should. This is certainly not a surprise but I get it and understand it. You do you! Just keep on keeping on letting us know how things are going.
You picked a good spot to settle down. I just hope your well doesn’t run dry with some of the development going on in the area. We visited your area last winter to take in Chiricahua Nation Monument, Tombstone, and Bisbee. I grew up in Tucson in the late 60’s early 70’s. Tucson has gotten so big. I have a place now in Pinetop/Lakeside that I call home when I’m not RVing or spending time in a second home in Colorado Springs. The best to you. I think living your dream no matter what it is, is the only way to live and is interesting. You both are so real - please keep posting!

You could be some timers traveling in the Airstream for a month or so every now and again during the year, particularly during the hot summer months. Gives you the best of both worlds.
We just started prepping our off-grid land in the Mohave dessert. Great videos. We probably won't be traveling because of the B's rules on travel now...

Miss you guys. You nailed it.. Family and friends are where its at. But our travels have brought us closer to folks that have moved away. And we've made so many more new friends. I'm not sure we when we will stop traveling. After almost 3 years, there is still so much more to do and see!
So full-time travel sounds dead for you guys. And we used to enjoy your travel videos.But what about part-time here and there. We live up here in Scottsdale and we've never been full-timers. From the beginning we wanted to be part-timers. And that's what we enjoy, having a home base plus part-time travel. So do you think you'll ever travel at least part time?
so, Understand the home base idea subscribed years ago for the travel & RV video's. No travel, way less income from UA-cam love the off grid stuff, but no more travel, realy. Thats why I follow... A lot of full time people are bailing. I guess we are different, want to full time, a month or 2 at a spot, see what there is ,& go to next, this is an AMAZING country, lots to see... I'm only 56 & have lots more to see. may bail in a few months, wee shall see. Love you guys, but loosing interest in chanel. best of luck John Hines

I love a home base. I could never travel full time. Nothing wrong with part time travel. Best of both worlds.
When we bought a small spot, full time RV'ing fell off quickly.
