White Roofs do way more cooling than that because white reflects the most sunlight compared to any other colour. My number one advice to keep your home cool without using the air conditioning is to have a white roof painted instead replacing the darker coloured roofs. Try searching up why white keep you cold the most on a hot day and you will see. It is just like how snow makes things colder automatically because of it’s high albedo because snow is a white color for the sunlight to be reflected.
