Medallion is the game changer. Princess is probably best for solo cruisers for value as well. Smart that u tried Princess to compare to celebrity. Celebrity food probably a little better but international Cafe and medallion keep me coming back along with price.
I'm glad you're trying the premiun lines now (premium as defined by the official cruise industry standards - Princess, Celebrity, and Holland America). They have such a better product (and service) to the mainstream lines and for not much more money (sometimes even less).

All beds are like that on Princess…i love the bed! Yes it is luck of the draw, i had Premiere but sadly won nothing😢 I think with the TV you needed to be closer and it will not do that. Thanks for today’s video…I love Princess🚢😊

So glad you’re trying princess. It is definitely one of my favorite cruise lines and I’ve been on a few of their ships. I will admit the food is not the best compared to other cruise lines, but the overall experience makes up for that, at least, in my opinion. Also, they have a pretty decent solo cruiser program, and I have found from time to time the solo supplement is very reasonable. I also agree about the bed. It is by far the best in the industry and finally I have to say you got a really cool haircut! My hair is long and I might follow your example.
This vlog series is making me SO jealous - I'm absolutely DYING to experience Japan on a cruise. Your review of the Princess bed made me so happy - I always go into their beds and die due to how comfortable it is, haha!

Great video Zach. I'm extremely interested in this series as Sapphire Princess to Alaska is my next cruise. I've been on Independence of the Seas and NCL Prima as my only other two cruises. So, without much basis for comparison, getting your take on your first Princess cruise is enlightening. Considering you're a huge Celebrity cruise line fan I'd be curious at the end how Princess measures up. Thanks 👍
I did a 14 day round trip Alaska cruise out of Vancouver last month (first cruise ever) and had such a good time that I immediately booked another Princess cruise after I got back 😂
We got daily canapés for booking club class. We don’t have elite status, so unless they changed the policy you can also get a lot of perks for booking club class.
Nice video. I am taking my first cruise in December and it is on Princess. I don’t like the way these balconies are set up at all: no privacy and no shade from hot sun or rain or mist. Not sure why they have been designed like that
I know that this ship is primarily for the Asian market, so most of the passengers will be Asian - did you find enough people to talk to? Or to listen to, even? (you can get a lot from listening in on other people's conversations) A lot of the enjoyment on a cruise comes from interacting with other passengers. As you're a solo traveller, I wonder if it felt a bit limiting. Or maybe it felt no different. Anyway, another video I thoroughly enjoyed. Thanks.
You are correct on your assessment of the passengers. However, I found so many people to talk to and met so many people. There were over 560 Americans onboard and just as many folks from Australia, Canada, and the UK. Definitely the most diverse cruise I’ve been on and I loved it.

Princess is an amazing premium line. Definitely felt like I got a tremendous value with them.
Carnival owns Princess and Holland American. This ship are gear to older folks.

We were on NCL Prima and was worst ship ever............we have been on 30 cruises Princess the BEST

Yes! Of the 2700 onboard, over 1000 were Japanese and I loved that.

Disappointed didn't get to see the Skywalker night club as promise or any of the restaurants foods.
I definitely showed the cool entrance to the nightclub just as I promised. Nearer to the end.
