Going to a theater is all about the experience. Where I live the ticket price is 60 to 100 for good seats. But we only go if the movie is worth it. Going to a movie is time consuming. And watching a movie in theater is fun if you go with your family or friends. Everyone is busy now a days so to go for a movie everyone has to make time from their schedule at the same time and that only happens if it's a good movie.

The thing is the price of move ticket is too high in the same price we can get subscription of ott platform for a month and the audience get game enjoyment from ott that they used to get in movie theatre, specially from the series

After covid people don't have money to buy tickets. They have to run their family first. Ticket prizes are too high. In case, they are interested, they want to invest in one or two movies a year(may be).
Its not the reasons ..... actually people want tp see movies that provide them escape from mundane lives and want so over the top cinematic experience. Hence only movies which give grand experience will work on box office

We should judge movies critically i.e. on movie making parameters.
We are investing our time and money in something which is promising to entertain us, of course the scrutiny will be very serious.
Plus if bollywood content is subpar there is no point to celebrate it.
I always went for a theatre movie for the experience because jo big screen pe dekhne ka mazaa hai, that's not on Netflix or Prime. But before pandemic also, i only chose movies that interested me or seemed like fun. I guess nowadays people who went to movies every weekend have stopped toh suddenly itna sannata hai. 😅
Not to mention the ridiculous boycott Bollywood on every thing 🤦🏼♀️ I personally am not gonna stop going to theatres as long as I really want to see the movie. Theatres just take you into some other world, jo laptop pe possible nahi hai 😅

People are not interested in wasting their time going into cinema halls and watching a movie. They are interested on big budget or hyped/controversial projects. It's good in a sense ki shit movies like radhe shyam, acharya, heropanti 2, prithviraj, satyameva jayate 2 failing but the boycott gang/bad release time is partly responsible too for the failure of good projects like attack, doobara, badhaai doo.

Ticket prices are impractical and unaffordable specially for a movie that's not worth our hard earned money after COVID situation and realizing the value of money 💰
Netflix India is trash 🗑️ and I observed most of their recent movies and series are garbage only. Amazon Prime is comparatively better than Netflix India and Hotstar & Zee5 are doing well in terms of contents.
There was a time when watching movie 🍿🎥 in multiplex and single screen was a pleasant experience but...
After many YRF, Nadiadwala, and Dharma movies that releases on OTT within or after a month of theatrical release, why to waste money and energy to go to cinema hall?
Even Pushpa, KGF, and RRR didn't take so long to release on OTT so I feel, enjoy entertainment on OTT with shared passwords and spend/save money for better causes.
