I feel dead inside because I just ordered the wii guitar on eBay for $40 😩 was the cheapest I could find too. Nothing at local goodwills. And the raphnet is $45 after shipping!!
And the best part about said adapter, it doesn't have to be exclusive to the Guitar, if you have controllers chillin, arcade sticks or such, well, this adapter alone revives them, is a nice purchase Thanks for telling me these guitars are the better ones, I have a couple for the 360, but if I have to get some for friends, I think your video might be the solution for them Thanks
i understand wii guitars being good for people who can’t afford something like an xplorer or wired lp, but xplorers generally have that flimsy strumbar, clicky (i guess cheap feeling, it makes that nice noise) frets, and strong neck support. not to mention a wired lp with a hardwired neck, my personal favorite guitar. my opinion is that if someone can afford and find an xplorer, they should go for it, especially if they find one for cheaper than the price of the adapter and a wiitar. however, a complete upgrade to an xplorer or wired lp in my opinion is a wii wor guitar. hands down the best feeling and looking guitar i’ve ever used. raphnet adapters are godsends in terms of playing songs like knights of cydonia, and the looks of a wor just adds to it. pick up a wii guitar if you’re trying to get back into gh, but always consider getting an xbox guitar if you want a nice, long standing guitar. this was a bit of a clusterfuck, but thanks for reading ˣᵇᵒˣ ᵍᵘᶦᵗᵃʳ ᵍᵃⁿᵍ ᶠᵒʳ ˡᶦᶠᵉ
You can also just use Wii remote with bluetooth. In my country it's much cheaper than raphnet-tech adapter. But even with it I can't get it to read tilt axis.
subscribe because of this video in 2022 ... very detailed with explaining things that newbs (like me) know nothing about and are new to the clone hero world, Thank you so much keep it up!
i got the xplorer 360 guitar from a thrift store for 5 bucks, bought a 360 and gh world tour, gh aerosmith, and gh3 all for around $120 together, well worth it bros! I recommend everyone hit up their local thrift stores and pawn shops for their guitars, especially since if youre low on cash, buy em all up and sell them on ebay for like $100.
you can do it with a wii remote actually connected! all the programs online for it are free and safe, ive been on clone hero for about a month and don't have a lot of computer knowledge but I connected my wii remote via Bluetooth and it mapped everything well. still no tilt but didn't have to spend any money on it
I would also like to give my fullest and most sincere support to the adapter. I only had guitar hero 3 for my Wii, and eventually stopped playing because I ran out of challenging songs. As a 12-year-old, I was heartbroken that I couldn't get the DLC for my Wii. I debated buying an Xbox or GHPC just to be able to play the full version of The Devil Went Down to Georgia. Discovering the Clone Hero community and this adapter allowed me to finally play the songs that I had only dreamed about 7 years ago. Being able to play again is really special to me, so I give my sincerest support to Clone Hero and the Wii guitar adapter.
Does any other adapter work? There seems to be a lot of cheaper alternatives on Amazon and I was wondering if I should buy one of them because the raphnet one is very expensive (for me, the shipping costs more than the adapter itself)
Acai I been looking everywhere for a guitar hero guitar for the last year, in goodwill and everything. Your content has gotten me wanting to since I found out about you. I hope I am able to find one soon, I have only been able to locate PS2 guitars for years, even when I used to play guitar hero on Xbox 360
I can definitely agree. The adapter is literally perfect only problem is it comes from Canada and there’s no way to track the package. It’s so worth the 28 dollars
I've been trying to find one of those guitars online since I've heard they work pretty well and you just have to plug them into the USB port but all the ones I've seen are crazy expensive.
Honestly all of my good guitars are from goodwill. Any thrift shop is always worth a look for controllers considering how much more expensive they are online for even a used one. Goodwill rarely knows what they’re selling so you can get them dirt cheap.
about 2 months ago, i disliked this video because i was angry that the adapter i used (that wasn't the raphnet one) didn't work, so i disliked and probably commented something about import charges on the raphnet adapter which made me not buy it. but i calculated the import charge and it was going to be about £5 something so ibought it and was ready to go and pay the extra for this working adapter but to my surprise i didn't have to go and collect it. it just came straight to my door with no charge. Plugged it in and huzzah it works, was so worth the money, thankyou!
I like how the one time I put out a guitar hero controller at goodwill this guy picked up three of them , where not allowed to buy stuff the same day we put them out -_-
I'm here from 2020, the adapter in the disc has been discontinued a new version is out and is now 30$, I also recommend finding a Wii Guitar at a thrift shop or anything like that because online I can't find one cheaper than 30$
This adapter works too ,Elecom Wii Classic controller to PC adapter. just got my adapter in from Ebay for $18.02 including shipping and works perfect with wii guitar on clone hero. Can't get the whammy bar to register though.
I am lucky enough to have a ridiculously rare WIRED Les Paul. Neck is fully one piece and there is absolutely zero input lag due to being wired. Just plug in PC and play. Got it as Circuit City was closing down and I asked them for their kiosk guitar.
Have 0 interest in playing the game myself but seeing you play and the general excitement you have makes me kinda want to get into the scene for it. Good video.
I also have a Wii guitar. I manage to use it wireless with full functionality and tilt controls. I don't have an adapter. I use a program named wiithing
I seen to have found out about CH just a few weeks after throwing out my Wii guitar. I definitely need to pick this up again sometime, just to maybe know how it feels like when I torture y'all with speeecore :> Though this should definitely clear things up with everyone asking why you use it; I can still vividly remember when you told everyone to throw away your Wii guitars, but the times have changed for the better. (i also wonder how many people will *still* ask)
I can also atest to this adapter. Holy shit, it works perfectly as long as you have a guitar that still functions. This guy has probably made thousands of dollars from just Acai promoting them.
I was lookin for a wii guitar tutorial like 2 days ago because my xbox gh3 controller is overstrumming and i have 2 wii controllers sitting around and i get a tutorial from the best ghtuber
There's this new 8bitdo adapter that is mostly to make gamecube controllers wireless for the switch but on the other side it has this connection and im pretty sure its possible to connect them to pc so that could work as a wireless solution if anyone really wants that
I have every gh guitar except the kramer and i have found every one at goodwill for less than 5 dollars, I found two wii les pauls for 10 bucks, Ordered this adapter and it is so much better than my Xplorer, Fully worth the money
Since you're one of the biggest guitar hero channels out there and are bringing many people exposure to the community, I personally would like to see some bare bones basic tutorial videos of explaining how to play the game and hit certain patterns. As a somewhat new player myself having to self learn most of the techniques with mild success isn't exactly the easiest with the lack of videos like that out there. Keep up the good shit tho brother.
The guitar I'm using the most is Xbox 360 Xplore. I have RB3 full of customs, dlcs, rbns, and exports. My Xbox 360 five usb plugs are full. I have 5 wire and 2 wireless instruments but using wire guitars are usefull and won't die in the middle of the song. I did broke a strum bar on the les paul guitar before and bought another one. I always kept shredding on Dragonforce songs. Best controllers recomended: GH2, GH3, and World Tour guitars because they are very accurate to strum notes.
I can attest to the adapter, it is fully worth the investment. I've been watching Clone Hero content from Acai and others in the community. i understand wii guitars being good for people who can’t afford something like an xplorer or wired lp, but xplorers generally have that flimsy strumbar, clicky (i guess cheap feeling, it makes that nice noise) frets, and strong neck support. not to mention a wired lp with a hardwired neck, my personal favorite guitar. my opinion is that if someone can afford and find an xplorer, they should go for it, especially if they find one for cheaper than the price of the adapter and a wiitar. however, a complete upgrade to an xplorer or wired lp in my opinion is a wii wor guitar. hands down the best feeling and looking guitar i’ve ever used. raphnet adapters are godsends in terms of playing songs like knights of cydonia, and the looks of a wor just adds to it. pick up a wii guitar if you’re trying to get back into gh, but always consider getting an xbox guitar if you want a nice, long standing guitar.
this was a bit of a clusterfuck, but thanks for reading

Raphnet went from $22 to $50. Lol fml.
You can also just use Wii remote with bluetooth. In my country it's much cheaper than raphnet-tech adapter. But even with it I can't get it to read tilt axis.
acai where can I find that floral skin you have on your guitar?
I bought an adapter yesterday and it should come in Monday or Tuesday! Super excited and recommend this 100%
Thank you so damn much for this Alec!
subscribe because of this video in 2022 ... very detailed with explaining things that newbs (like me) know nothing about and are new to the clone hero world, Thank you so much keep it up!
Davie504:"Use WiiBass or get slapped."
i got the xplorer 360 guitar from a thrift store for 5 bucks, bought a 360 and gh world tour, gh aerosmith, and gh3 all for around $120 together, well worth it bros! I recommend everyone hit up their local thrift stores and pawn shops for their guitars, especially since if youre low on cash, buy em all up and sell them on ebay for like $100.
IVE SEEN 3 WII AEROSMITH GUITARS AND NEVER BOUGHT THEM I DIDNT KNOW THIS WHYYY!!!!
I used to own one im so sad right now
you can do it with a wii remote actually connected! all the programs online for it are free and safe, ive been on clone hero for about a month and don't have a lot of computer knowledge but I connected my wii remote via Bluetooth and it mapped everything well. still no tilt but didn't have to spend any money on it
yeah! i'll try it too.
Where did you get that skin for the guitar? Its so hype i love it
I would also like to give my fullest and most sincere support to the adapter.
Pro tip. Take out the bottom guitar strap knob and run the wii cable through that hole so it connects out the bottom of the guitar
u look like me wtf
Lol
lets hang out
Acai ok let me go ask my mom
I dont see it
Mitchell is it just ironic that you and the first guy that commented have the same profile picture?
'Better days' on loop haha! Thanks for this man! I use the PC version more now tbh.
This calls for a Bruh Sound Effect 2
Liam Svanoe bruh moment
Acai I been looking everywhere for a guitar hero guitar for the last year, in goodwill and everything. Your content has gotten me wanting to since I found out about you. I hope I am able to find one soon, I have only been able to locate PS2 guitars for years, even when I used to play guitar hero on Xbox 360
my friend just yelled skinny noodles at me what do i do
Yell it back
Eat his ass

@@andrewfernandez6136 uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
I can definitely agree. The adapter is literally perfect only problem is it comes from Canada and there’s no way to track the package. It’s so worth the 28 dollars
i have that exact guitar
give it back to him he needs it for his youtube
the Aerosmith one? Me too!
IM FINALLY NOT ALONE woo
acai pls pin
Mooshey MC the main one he uses with the sticker
"dongle bitch boy" was something I never expected you to say
Brown man has a lot of guitars
The best part about this video is the idea to use a Starpower-footswitch. Ingenious.
FC Cry For Eternity with Wii remote
thanks for makin this brown man; appreciate it. perfect timing for me
I got a 3 dollar xplorer and i broke it 5 years later
By changing the frets 😭
Corrupted2001 where did you get it?
Bryan Garcia goodwill in 2012
I've been trying to find one of those guitars online since I've heard they work pretty well and you just have to plug them into the USB port but all the ones I've seen are crazy expensive.
Sean Schilling I got 2 but there both broken now all I have is my ghwt guitar 😂😭
I remember seeing this video in my feed and raising an eyebrow derisively at the idea of a _Wii_ guitar being any good.
How times change...
I want to buy the adapter, but, dude, shipping is 149.00$ :(
For real???? Where the heck do you live that shipping costs so much
@@h0rcrux774 Im from LATAM, Colombia
Te entiendo. Yo soy de Chile y me sale 75 USD.
Honestly all of my good guitars are from goodwill. Any thrift shop is always worth a look for controllers considering how much more expensive they are online for even a used one. Goodwill rarely knows what they’re selling so you can get them dirt cheap.
Me: $3?! "Wow!!"
Looks in description: $22 for adapter "oh.. i knew there was a catch"
$25 is pretty good for a guitar and a adapter.
got my wii guitar and adapter the day you first posted about it on reddit. It was such a difference from my garbage ps2 guitar. Highly recommend it!
hey i have a wii guitar lemme get that shiz
FOUND IT
wait nvm...
its a ps2 guitar ;-;
What kind of PS2 Guitar? The white one, Kramer, SG, or WT?
about 2 months ago, i disliked this video because i was angry that the adapter i used (that wasn't the raphnet one) didn't work, so i disliked and probably commented something about import charges on the raphnet adapter which made me not buy it. but i calculated the import charge and it was going to be about £5 something so ibought it and was ready to go and pay the extra for this working adapter but to my surprise i didn't have to go and collect it. it just came straight to my door with no charge. Plugged it in and huzzah it works, was so worth the money, thankyou!
As long as it works I guess
very chill, fun, and informative video brown man. enjoyed very much
Did you get your camera at good will also?
I like how the one time I put out a guitar hero controller at goodwill this guy picked up three of them , where not allowed to buy stuff the same day we put them out -_-
Didn't you say like 3 years ago when you said they weren't that good lmao
times are different now. didn't have adapter back then
@@acai28 u right
I rewired a wii guitar before this adapter went up for sale. Used an Arduino to spoof it as a 360 controller. Works great.
Good video.
cant wait to get this adapter and start shredding
I also have a Wii guitar. I manage to use it wireless with full functionality and tilt controls. I don't have an adapter. I use a program named wiithing
I seen to have found out about CH just a few weeks after throwing out my Wii guitar. I definitely need to pick this up again sometime, just to maybe know how it feels like when I torture y'all with speeecore :>
Though this should definitely clear things up with everyone asking why you use it; I can still vividly remember when you told everyone to throw away your Wii guitars, but the times have changed for the better.
