Haven't had a chance to test if it holds zero, but mounts just fine and has nice clear glass. Centered vertically true to a plumb line with the crosshairs which is always a plus! It's a great ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxc4K63Fd5LglDMObu7-Bgapxp_ef0W8hE scope. There's no parallax adjustment or focus ring, so may be limited to 3-7x, have to see how it is on the range. Also be aware that the rings are "look through" so you can still use irons, but they are really tall if you only intend to use the optics. On a 22LR no biggie since I'm not shooting competitions or worried about a hard cheek press. Will boresight and range test, if all goes well, I'll leave it at that!
I bought the Tract scope about 6 months ago because of Joe’s videos and emailing him and I can tell you guys it’s that good! And what a great guy to buy a scope like that from, the owner of Tract is a great guy and helped me out, I can’t say enough about his scopes.
Just got a tract 4.5 - 30 x 56. My gawd the clarity of the glass, the ease and solid feel of the turrets and just overall quality are expected from optics costing another 1000 or more. It's that good...honest. And to get emails from the owners with a thanks and a reassurance of service after the sale....who does that. Jon and Jon at Tract Optics...thats who.
I purchased the Stryker 5x50x56 for F Class on your recommendation and it is amazing. A range buddy got behind it because he could not spot his shots and he went crazy. He thought it was a $3,000 scope. Told him the price and he couldn't believe it. A++ scope.
That 4.6-30X56 Tract Toric ELR is right up my alley! Only thing is, I just spent $4800 on my wife’s back surgery $7800 on a new roof and am short on funds at the moment. I would really appreciate it if you’d front me the money until I get back on my feet again dude. 😉 This is an awesome video and it sounds like you’ve done your homework on them. I have no doubt that these are top of the line in their price range. Keep sending them out and I’ll keep watching them and liking them!
Leica amplus 6 2.5-15x50i. It has amazing glass and a super fine illuminated dot. This thing is a beast at low light shooting, it is my new preferred scope for hunting. Again the optical quality on this thing is amazing. It is right at the $14-1500 mark.
I got the 2.5-15-56i version. Very nice glass. Sitting on a 6.5 rpm. Looking for something with a bit more range for a 300 bee. Thinking of the shv, valdada, conquest v4. ECT. Just looked through a Swarovski 4-12 don't think it's got anything on the Leica
BTW. Great format in putting the "specs" side by side toward the beginning and then covering the individual "features" later in the video while showing each scope. I am sure that extra touch with all the brand logo's different fonts size and making all that sh!t fit in all the neat little boxes took a sh!t load of extra time. "With all due respect" as you would put it, your "dumb ass is frickin' nailing it" at doing a better job every video. Thanks for showing us and other UA-camrs that being yourself while working on doing the best you can on your content is what makes a great channel. Keep it up Joe! BTW I don't know crap about UA-cam analytics, but don't be afraid to always toward the end ask the viewers to do all the stuff that helps your stat's. It only takes 10 seconds to ask. Use your always humble "that means so much to me and helps me out out more than you will ever know" statement. Capitalize on the fact that you are always genuine. I would say people that watch your content aren't professional viewers that know the drill, but rather normal folks like us that are just trying to pick up some knowledge about scopes. Cheers!
@@m07c Still got it, still use it in NRL22 comps and on longer range rifles. For the money you just cant go past it I think. Last shoot was Rimfire to 400yds and it was easy to see and read the mirage through the glass. Hope that helps
Going to start calling you the "stimulus whisperer" as this lineup of scopes will definitely make you give it up. Seriously thank you as I am in the market for a my last good scope in this quality range as in hindsight I have bought some garbage ones over the years trying to save two nickles and its not worth it.
Champagne Dream and Caviar Wishes.........$1500 scope recommendation from a man who drink Coors Light. Guess if I drank that crap I would have the money for $1500 optic too! Great work Joe, thank you.
Bought a SWFA 5 x 20 x 50 illuminated a couple years ago on their Black Friday sale for $999. A real deal! Pity on anyone who is tried to buy one lately. They are on perpetual backorder.
Haven't pulled the trigger yet but I'm still planning on getting the Tract. I'm planning on doing my 1st gun build using Defiance action and Bartlein prefit barrel and need a compatible scope. I just believe if I'm going to shell out big money on a gun I should at least get comparable optics. Thanks for the great videos Joe!
Damn you Joe their goes my stock account again getting lighter it's your fault again ! Any feed back about which to choose to lighten my stock account is greatly appreciated! Loved the Video Joe !
Nailed it with the Tract. I believe It’s the only one with German, Schott glass. It doesn’t get any better. Great spotting scopes too. Can’t wait to received my Tract 12.5 x 50 binoculars in July. They have been sold out for months. Get them while you can. They are the best.
So i bought an Arken SH4 5-25 x50 just to see if I was going to get addicted to long range. Its great to me to 800 yards but then it falls off (or i do). Im looking for the next step up. Thanks for your help here.
I have the Riton (Mod 7) 4-32x56 (brass internals) which is the predecessor of the Riton (X7) 4-32x56. The included throw lever should have been a screw on/screw in "fin" rather than a vertical "post" because I can't get the full magnification range on my scope when throw lever is installed due to bolt clearance/interference on my bolt action chassis setup. I lose either the very top or very bottom of the magnification range. Other than that, I really like it. I haven't had a need to go beyond 28X magnification (amazing at 28X and below). It has really good clarity up to 32X for the price range. Locking Turrets are the only other thing it lacks from my wish list. The Riton Optics (X7) 3-24x56 with the chevron tip reticle may be a more preferable experience. The Tract Toric 4.5-30x56 has everything I've ever wanted in a FFP scope & I prefer it's reticles and warranty over the Delta Stryker, however the Delta Javelin 4.5-30x56 SMR-1 could possibly be my next FFP scope (Made in China like almost everything else I own). The Trijicon 5-50x56 MRAD Tenmile/Accupower will likely be the most expensive (ELR; SFP scope) I'll purchase because I prefer the Trijicon MRAD Reticle, however the Delta Stryker HD 5-50x56 with DLS-1 reticle will likely be a better buy, especially if they are close in price and availability. Trijicon has the lifetime warranty vs. 10 year warranty.
The Tract Toric is an awsome scope. I had one on my hunting rifle, but I hunt in heavy cover and a SFP scope works better with my eyes. I sold it to a long range shooter and bought 2 Bushnell Forge scopes. Saving money for a Valdada 3-18 right now. Save your money; take Joe's advice and buy quality optics. You will not regret it. The bushnell forge is so good I never take it off 3 power out to 100- 125 yards while hunting.
Great job! I'm really digging the new optic I told you I got, the Crimson Trace, Series 5, in 3-24×56. The features I like most over the lower end optics I've owned are: 34mm main tube, true 8x times magnification, leveling lines on the sides for easier mounting, and a nice reticle. Of course it isn't my favorite... I think you know what I'm gonna say baby... Recon G2! Thanks for your hard work!
I bought an athlon ares etr 3-18x50 for $1000. I personally would regard it as the crest of diminishing returns. Not that the razor doesn't have superior glass and turrets. Just that if I had the money for a razor I'd buy two more etr's, scope rings and flip up lens caps for them.
Nice!!! my pics are somewhat the same.. 1... Athlon Cronos BTR 4.5-29x56.. Warrantee is better.. As a competition shooter this is a factor to consider. 2... Tract Toric 4.5-30x56 2.5..Vortex Razor Gen2 4.5-27x56 3... Athlon Aries ETR 4.5-30x56 (Hard to beat for the money!!!) 4... Element Nexus 5-20x56.. Joe the Steiner t5xi 3-15x50 can be found for around $1,500-$1,650 and there 5-25x56 can be found for $1,813 and that's what I paid for it but I also have the tract toric and it's my favorite
Love you videos. Even if it's a scope I don't think I would ever own it's good to have the information available cause you never know where life will take you.
I've got a SWFA 5-20x50 HD. It's a great scope for the money. I picked it up used with a sunshade and throw lever. It's built like a tank, and has performed very well.
Cheers for the scope reviews.... Bought 2 x scopes based on reviews I've seen... yours being one of them.. Element optics Titan & Nexus Love the vids...
I can’t understand how the Athlon ETR UDH 4.5-30x56, did not even make the list when many other reviewers, who did not get one from Tract, preferred it over the Tract and Vortex
You really should have had the IOR or Valdada 2-16*42 ffp with locking turret and zero stop, 7 metre focus, unbelievable field of view and adjustment range. Still some great selections there, delta's are amazing for the money and the better bushnell is a great scope too.
Agree with your choices? Hell, you far exceeded my choices. But I am a Tract Toric ELR guy now. That shit was love at first sight! I just don't have a single thing to bitch about with this one. I finally got mine and beat the hell out of it with a 28 Nosler last weekend and believe me it took an ugly stick beating. It laughed at that damn recoil. For $1,500 that's my favorite scope.
I LOVE my tract ELR, it’s what I compare others against because it’s the best scope I’ve used. But I’d trust any of Joe’s recommendations! Great easy to understand video Joe!
It is a joy to watch your videos both educational and entertainment. There is any reason why you never mentioned athlon optics ares etr uhd 4.5-30x56. It seems good scope for the $$. Keep the great work!
Hi Joe, great video as always, I have the Element Optice Nexus & it rocks, not let me down yet, the Valdada looks awesome not sure we can get these in the UK, keep up the great reviews, the UK loves you man
Joe hits a sweet spot at $1500 with 10 scopes, 7 in the money, 2 at second focal plane, Delta and Valdada, and he gives you a discount code, what’s not to love? Thanks Joe!
You hit the nail on the head with this one brother I wish I could own all of them!!! I have 2 of the Sig Tango 6's, 2 of their Tango 4's, and 1 of the Whiskey 3 optics but the 6's are my favorite and are phenomenal. Optics are about the only thing I like that Sig makes I have 7 of the Romeo 5/5XBR red dots also (which I'm pretty sure are made by Holosun and just Sig branded) Great video as always keepem coming brother!!!
Hey Joe, I know its all a coin toss here, and I appreciate you mentioning reticle preference as a deciding factor. I would like to add another scope you have reviewed the Maven 4.5-30x56, which I think I might prefer. Having not looked thru the Delta, Tract or Maven I am not sure the one to pick. I am currently using the Arken ep-5 and the Midas Tac 5-25 on my rimfire rifles
The Maven rs-4 has very slightly sharper glass but not quite as good of color rendition as the Toric. Can't go wrong with either, I have the Toric and my brother has the Maven.
I bought the Tract after much research and review of Joes videos and some e mails and phone calls with the owners of Tract. Three things tipped me to the
Continued from fat thumb pre post) like I was saying.....The Tract had the reticle I wanted , the costumer service was fantastic fantastic. Immediate re call on phone messages and answered all questions with great detail the game breaker was the HUGE Veteran , police and first responder discount of %15. At the price point for the scope I saved enough to put money toward rings. All aspects of this scope are top shelf as Joe described.
Joe, like everyone, really enjoy your no-nonsense reviews. Of all I have watched, unless I missed one, have never seen you mention Sightron III scopes, specifically the 8-32x56. What are your thoughts. Thanks!
@@CyclopsJoeVideos Thanks for replying so quickly. Have only seen a couple of reviews on Sightron SIII, all positive. Would love for you to get your hands on one and see what you think. Thanks, Joe
I hate picking scopes it really sucks.. the tradeoffs are too extreme. I feel like leupold would be a no brainer if theyd offer a decent reticle that illuminated for under 2k
I've been using a Trijicon AccuPoint for over 3 years now and I'll swear by it. @ $1623.95 (on sale), I'd stack it against my $2400-ish NightForce anyday. It's almost blasphemy (to me anyways) that it didn't make the list...
Well I have purchased new Valdata ranger 3-25.50 40mm But valdada is nothing better then Schmidt and Bender Please review s&b nf kahles high end scopes
How do you feel about the leupold mark4 4.5-14x50mm er/t m5? Its a old design but I have had it for years and love it. I have it on my bergara b14 wilderness hmr 6.5 creedmoor and go from 10 to 1000yards no problems.
Hi Joe. If you had a choice between the delta and the valdada fixed 16x56 which is better optically. The other scope I'm considering is a Meopta Zd. I appreciate you may not have looked at this one. Both the Valdada and meopta are on offer for the same money. The delta is more money. I want it for .22lr target and varmint
I don't know that much about scopes I'm looking at night force and Leupold HD5 scopes I feel if I spend more money I'll be safe and I won't regret it... I'm looking at $3000 scopes If I buy one I can move it from 1 rifle to another
I can say the Toric is an amazing scope at its price point. It's truly a world class scope... The Nexus I enjoy but wouldn't buy another one (it's setting on my Impact 35) unless they start coming in at around 1000 bucks... I really want to try a Vudu just haven't left the house and only shooting Pcp guns right now... As soon as I can get to the range and shooting powder burners again I will play with a Vudu and see what it's about. I had a Bypass fail in March but have done excellent since then and been healing up nicely and starting to feel more like my self so hopefully it won't be to long. Xoxoxo Lacy
It's really too bad the Sig Tango 6 was left off the list. I love that scope! But if these 7, I'm all about that tract Turkic super impressed with all I've seen from it
I have the Delta 4.5x30 and it’s worth every penny. Took it to the Canadian Sniper, Rob Furlong’s, marksmanship course and it performed flawlessly. When we were on the 900 meter targets, of the military snipers told my son, “your father’s shooting lights out son”. The glass and turrets on that scope are as good as everyone says they are. Check out what Richard Utting has to say about them on his UA-cam channel.
What do you think about the primary arms glx 4.5-27×56 athena bpr mil... i have it, loke the riticle, dunno about the rest. Doesnt have alot of travel, glass ok, kinda heavy, pretty good turrets, crap eye box, decent illumination, i just dont know
OK coming from a newbie-ish shooter - If I were to spend $1500 dollars on a scope I'd expect it to be AMAZING !! How can there be a crappy $1500 scope ? I'd be PISSED !!!! My $400 Hawke Airmax 30 is incredible.
@@CyclopsJoeVideosyou changed my mind with vortex. I'm glad I chose PA. Good clean Japanese lense. Only thing doesn't have turrent lock, zero stop yes! $1499

Thanks Buddy
crimson trace series 5 ......3x24x56 with 34mm tube
It is a joy to watch your videos both educational and entertainment.
There is any reason why you never mentioned athlon optics ares etr uhd 4.5-30x56.
It seems good scope for the $$.
Keep the great work!
Just haven’t gotten to it yet
Hi Joe, great video as always, I have the Element Optice Nexus & it rocks, not let me down yet, the Valdada looks awesome not sure we can get these in the UK, keep up the great reviews, the UK loves you man
Joe hits a sweet spot at $1500 with 10 scopes, 7 in the money, 2 at second focal plane, Delta and Valdada, and he gives you a discount code, what’s not to love? Thanks Joe!
Thanks Bryan
That tarantula tripped me out.... 🤣
You forgot about which one has the best warranties
All these brands have great warranties
You have the best videos , thanks
Thank You
Great video ! Have you ever done a review of the Burris Eliminator ?
No I haven't
You hit the nail on the head with this one brother I wish I could own all of them!!! I have 2 of the Sig Tango 6's, 2 of their Tango 4's, and 1 of the Whiskey 3 optics but the 6's are my favorite and are phenomenal. Optics are about the only thing I like that Sig makes I have 7 of the Romeo 5/5XBR red dots also (which I'm pretty sure are made by Holosun and just Sig branded) Great video as always keepem coming brother!!!
Man I love you're no bullshit videos.l am saving for a valdada hope to get it soon
You will LOVE IT
Hey Joe, I know its all a coin toss here, and I appreciate you mentioning reticle preference as a deciding factor.
Haven’t tried the Maben
The Maven rs-4 has very slightly sharper glass but not quite as good of color rendition as the Toric. Can't go wrong with either, I have the Toric and my brother has the Maven.
@@stevemott7052 thanks Steve
The more badass search for baderasser reinforcement words is on!
Thanks!
Charlie I'm a big fan of cytron but I've never done any of the reviews because I've never had any other scopes to review
@@CyclopsJoeVideos Thanks for replying so quickly. Have only seen a couple of reviews on Sightron SIII, all positive. Would love for you to get your hands on one and see what you think. Thanks, Joe
The Delta has great glass, Tract also, Vortex is way way way way behind on glass the more power the worse vortick gets
The DMR is a great choice and it ran me about 800 bucks. The DMR III is more like 1500 bucks. I'd like to see a video on that one.
The DMR ii and ii pro were last of their line made in Japan new 3 series are Chinese.
@@tar6805 Sheesh. I’m glad I didn’t go for that one.
Awesome video... surprise that mark 4 or 5 didn’t make the list ... being told by some mark series are over price ?
They are nice . But very much over priced
I hate picking scopes it really sucks.. the tradeoffs are too extreme. I feel like leupold would be a no brainer if theyd offer a decent reticle that illuminated for under 2k
how about testing the burris eleminator 4 for glass quality and accuracy for us that just want a hunting scope without turrents, and shoot long range
Soothing voice of Joe talking about beautiful foot long object with birds singing...😂
Ha. You need new glasses. Each one of them is longer than a foot. Makes you want a nipple twister?
I've been using a Trijicon AccuPoint for over 3 years now and I'll swear by it. @ $1623.95 (on sale), I'd stack it against my $2400-ish NightForce anyday. It's almost blasphemy (to me anyways) that it didn't make the list...
Yeah I wanted to try out the new ten mile scopes …but couldn’t get my hands on one
Well I have purchased new Valdata ranger 3-25.50 40mm
But valdada is nothing better then Schmidt and Bender
Please review s&b nf kahles high end scopes
Hi Joe. How about the Meopta Optika 6 5-30x56 with the M-RAD ED reticle?.
That’s a REALLY NICE SCOPE
How do you feel about the leupold mark4 4.5-14x50mm er/t m5? Its a old design but I have had it for years and love it. I have it on my bergara b14 wilderness hmr 6.5 creedmoor and go from 10 to 1000yards no problems.
It's one of the VERY BEST buys in optics period !!!!!
The Vortex has 28.5 mils of total vertical travel.
What about the GPO spectra 6-8? Great scope that’s slept on by a lot of people.
EXCELLENT SCOPE
I would pick the Valdada
@@CyclopsJoeVideos Many thanks for your reply Joe. I really value your opinion. Your videos are totally top draw. I love watching them.
Hey Joe,we would like to see your cyclops one day
lol, crazy ass
Xoxoxo
Lacy
Hi Lacy, can you tell me what let you down on the Nexus ? I am on the fence with one at the moment :)
Nexus vs Tract Toric? Nexus is much lighter but what aboout the rest?
Hello dear, what an economic look I can get it to be precise in the clicks and it serves me for hunting and long distance shooting
It's really too bad the Sig Tango 6 was left off the list. I love that scope! But if these 7, I'm all about that tract Turkic super impressed with all I've seen from it
Golden info 👍👍 thanks
So nice of you
I am defo going for Razor then Delta , I love my Vortex as you know , I love the Delta though . I really want one . Great vid buddy 👍👍
Thanks Buddy
I have the Delta 4.5x30 and it’s worth every penny. Took it to the Canadian Sniper, Rob Furlong’s, marksmanship course and it performed flawlessly. When we were on the 900 meter targets, of the military snipers told my son, “your father’s shooting lights out son”. The glass and turrets on that scope are as good as everyone says they are. Check out what Richard Utting has to say about them on his UA-cam channel.
@@barryboyd7973 I do really fancy one 👍
What do you think about the primary arms glx 4.5-27×56 athena bpr mil... i have it, loke the riticle, dunno about the rest. Doesnt have alot of travel, glass ok, kinda heavy, pretty good turrets, crap eye box, decent illumination, i just dont know
Its on a sig cross 6.5 cm
I haven’t tried that one sorry
What do you think about the Leupold vx6? Or is not a tactical scope more of hunting?
I think it’s a good choice for sure
OK coming from a newbie-ish shooter - If I were to spend $1500 dollars on a scope I'd expect it to be AMAZING !! How can there be a crappy $1500 scope ? I'd be PISSED !!!! My $400 Hawke Airmax 30 is incredible.
Good Job Brother. All covered now.
An other honest review! G2 Recon all the way!
The vortex razor has 28.5 of elevation. Not sure where u got your info but it's wrong.
Nice if you commented on glass quality
Good point
I would I would still stay with my arken ep 5
Great video, what about factory support?
All these companies have great customer support
Was or were any of the Riton scopes considered?
Was or were any of the Riton scopes considered
Primary Arms Plx 6 30 56 34mm FFP Athena BPR MIL my choice!
I hope try a pox before long
@@CyclopsJoeVideosyou changed my mind with vortex. I'm glad I chose PA. Good clean Japanese lense. Only thing doesn't have turrent lock, zero stop yes! $1499
What about Maven?
I was with you at 6k subs and hot chicks At the end of your videos. I do miss that btw haha
Same here lol
Great explanation of the scopes 👍
Thanks Jon
Thanks joe.
Any time!
