I dunno about that, vocal performance is bit off and also it gets quite noisy when they play all together. It was also quite disappointing that they used a drum machine to create that bongo pattern. I think they nailed the previous songs although.
my daughter ( 4 years old) and I are absolutely obsessed with infected mushroom she's always humming their tunes and is always asking me to play that song lol I'm currently expecting another kid and I'm gonna get him hooked on infected mushroom too they are just soo damn rich in sound and quality and it makes us very happy!!! Thank you infected mushroom for making such awesome music.
10:10 just listening to the album, i would have never guessed most of this synth work was/could be played live and is not just all sequenced .. blows my mind
they are sequenced 100% but by pretty small pieces he still needs to trigger, it is still an amazing an difficult task to remember where is everything. There are tiny things not sampled such as bass presets and other leads but when he plays those nothing else is on the way or is programmed either on the right side or on the first keys.
@@AlexIsiv Lol not 100% no. It's not mostly played either. It's a good mix of both and one awesome performance. You can see him playing the notes and hearing those same notes played all over. Of course the guitar is chugging away in the background too. Some of the patches will trigger sequences, small sequences that vary from the note or the longer sections that aren't much more than sequenced knob control over it or a looped hit and various stuff. Keyboard has a couple zones on it. Some might look like it's sequenced, but he's playing chords that run through some kind of gapper/volume shaper, so his fingers don't match with the rhythm you hear, but the notes definitely do because you can see and hear it. Oh, and Erez does some wild and wacky things with his mod wheel. Very few electronic artists can tie together different settings to get the expressiveness or sound changes he can get with it. It's awesome.
For years i was and still am a huge fan of IM, about a year ago i've managed to talk with both guys and told Erez that his music helped me in a difficult phase of my life, his sincerity and real appreciation is unbelievable, even though all of the success hes such an humble and honored guy, will be in my heart for ever. Thank you Erez and Duvdev. Keep making music that change lives for the better.
I talked to Erez and had the same experience. I was blown away. He’s been doing this for 27 years and he was talking like they are some brand new band trying to get off the ground and told me he was so grateful that people actually want to listen to their music lol. So nice. And he wasn’t feeling shy because he smoked two blunts during the show 😂 He jumped off stage after the show and talked to literally EVERY single person that didn’t leave immediately.
These guys are very underrated in Australia, I found these guys from a Spotify playlist that a random Facebook friend of mine was listening to it been in love ever since 😁
Been listening to these guys since Classical Mushroom. My fave band on the planet. Albums are awesome and they are amazing live. I prefer the older (Classical, BP, Converting) albums over their newer stuff, but can appreciate their new stuff too.
My brother was heavy into trance in the late 90s-00s. i remember hearing the name Infected Mushroom, but don't remember any of the tunes. i looked them up when i was getting back into trance... this is the only group who i have actually listened to entire albums of and enjoyed!
So joyful this popped into my feed today! I've seen them three times in Washington State and they never disappoint...counting the days until I'm Infected again!!! XOX XOX XOX
Actually so much Better than they ever do ok these video's or on albums... They added the drummer and guitarist love the last time I got to experience them. 4th occurrence coming up in January in Houston!
We were lucky enough to catch a few of their shows a few years back in Winnipeg. The venues were fairly small but full. They were some of the best parties ever. I'm glad to see them flourish and succeed.
today I learned that when you think something is arpegiated very fast, it's just erez playing at a truly insane tempo. 10:1236:22 IM is so rad, especially erez!
I just met Erez Eisen after a show in Eugene Oregon, USA. It was fuckin' awesome. It blew my mind. This group is the leader in electronic music. They are the best.
They are the best and they always will be! Making great EDM music since 1998, i m a fan since that time, and their evolution was mind blowing and remarkble! keep on going! Portugal has you in our hearts and souls!
I've been a huge fan since 99 and I love death metal and I love that they have an actual guitar player and I got to see them twice live here in Atlanta, they didn't have the full band but it was awesome
Since finding this performance I've been watching it at least once a day, and spending the rest of the day humming or singing the tracks. I guess I've been infected again. The Pretender rocks!!
Didn't realize this was 10 years ago. Watching it now in 2023 thinking it's mental I saw them live over 20 years ago and Erez looks almost the same as back then.
I first heard of infected mushrooms on Monstercat an EDM channel that promotes artist and i was not disappointed in doing a little digging and finding this gem. Mad props to the keyboard player and drumer enjoyed himself.
By the way, I got "infected" around 16 years ago when I was in high school. Their music changed my life in a very good way. It was a spiritual perceptual change that played a significant role in shaping who I am. Of course they weren't the only band that had such an impact on me, there were plenty more from very different genres. As Amit said, music does indeed change the world.
sooooo amazing on every instrument including the vocals... like... nobody knows how hard this is until you play it and trust me... its not easy to improvise transitions or riffs on the spot unless you feel the music and not just hear it
Infected are a one of a kind from the early 2000 dance era, I grew up on rave genres from 1989, loved every single one, DNB, TRANCE, HARDCORE, TECHNO and HIPHOP. , my Staffie dogs and music has given me the most loves of my life!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
EREZ UN MAESTRAZO!!! EXCELENTE BANDA, EXCELENTE MÚSICA Y SI HAY QUE DECIR ALGO DE LAS VERSIONES DE ESTE SET, SÓLO DIRÉ: ES-TÁN-DE-PO-CA-MA-DREEEEE!!!! ADIOS!
It's interesting that they don't really show Erez, and he has no place in the interview. Just his hands sometimes, and he's the creative force that carries this group musically. The camera focuses mainly on Duvdev and the guest guitarist and drummer (even when they're not doing anything). Maybe his personality just doesn't engage their audience as much as his music does, so they play to each other's strengths...That or he just doesn't want publicity.
Blake Adams Erez has always been like that, even when I saw them live back in 2000. All these years of success haven't changed his introverted vibes at all XD
THEIR DRUMMER LOOKS SO HAPPY ALL THE TIME HOLY SHIT THAT GUY IS AWESOME
Balaclava I mean he gets to play with one of the most epic edm groups of all time, wouldn't you be happy af all the time?
This comment is awesome too.
john travolta in the drumms !
Most drummers are happiest when we're banging away.
So true xD
The mad scientist on the keyboard though.
Erez is a god!
and he is 99% of it
@@corzahazard444 love infected only becouse of eraz fuck the other dude, always got the chill about him feel like its hostle situation maybe just me?
They compliment eachother. Ones the introvert and the other is the extrovert. It's like Ying and yang baby. Don't project your insecurities
Barney Boyer Every Woz his Jobs and vice versa.
I can't express in words my love for this music
I feel the same.
Yes I knowwwww
This version of Saee'd is UNBELIEVABLE !!!! I'm in love again.
I dunno about that, vocal performance is bit off and also it gets quite noisy when they play all together. It was also quite disappointing that they used a drum machine to create that bongo pattern. I think they nailed the previous songs although.

you´re the best mom ever ;)
That's so cute! :DD
And building their first space colonies by the age of 16
check out Shpongle also
Yay 😀 my 3 year old son is learning to love them too. He always wants I Wish, Feelings, or Demons of Pain. Wonderful music!
I loved that part between 00:00 and 37:35 . And the "start over" button was the best part of that part.
Hypnotriod He just meant it was a good and he played it again.
@@EvilDogProductions 😆
I still think it's sick how they manage to bring this sound "live"
Erez is a fucking God!

‘Cause they nasty.
Listening to it again after 10 years, SHIT MAN, ITS SOOOO FREAKING AWESOME!
Yea same here bro, this is a true jem!
This is how all interviewers should be..... informed, researched and well spoken.
Some of these are better than the album versions.
Kirk Russell Saeed in particular. In my opinion their best track of any album. So glad they decided to include that in this mix.
That track is one of my favorites as well.
+Jade Evetz Saeed = My drug
+Kirk Russell I love this version of Wanted To
Saeed. Way better this way
It's amazing that i have played this over and over and over and cant get tired of it these guys are awesome
same here bro, repeated this video least hundred times now. great sounds to listen to while working
THE KEYBOARD PLAYER. He's got the skills. To pay the bills.
To pay the bills and then some
*If mushrooms had to pay bills, that is.*
@@itstruemammanon no they both are erez plays keyboard and duvdev does vocals
He is the musician among the DJs.
Actually all of them haha
10:10 just listening to the album, i would have never guessed most of this synth work was/could be played live and is not just all sequenced .. blows my mind
Funny thing, at 11:22 Erez looks away to his left while still playing

Sa'eed and Never Mind totally the best! with greetings from heavy/thrash metal fan.
Stay heavy, and be open minded for such awsome electronic music!
I don't care much for live performances usually but this is great. Well done Infected Mushroom!
My favorite live act. Seen infected mushroom live last year with not knowing much of their music left my favorite show of all time.

Infected Mushroom is love.
Infected Mushroom is life.
Duvdev is the face of IM. Erez is the heart.
Guys, Duvdev played classical piano for 9 years and he may not play when they preform but he does contribute mussicaly
Still trying to pick my jaw up off the floor after that performance. Wow! Thanks for posting :)
Damn, Erez is fantastic on the keyboard

Come down to Minneapolis if you get the chance to see em. Seen em live at skyway theater last October and was the best live show i ever seen.
This performance is absolutely mindblowing

I was pleasantly surprised too. Totally thought they used arpeggiator like most EMD bands.
thx for speicifc time , delicious moment :D for sure. arpegio till eye flip, precision
That first one at 10:12 has a whole bunch of effects on it too that affect the feel of the rate of it.
I need a whole set just with camera on erez
I never tire of listening to these songs again and again
The true definition of talent
Talent whiteout hard work is nothing, but I agree with you 😉
Definitely recommend seeing them live as they are awesome to see.

If i listen to it i'ts like im listening to the cd!
Love it!
Erez is a musical genius!
So how come I can't hear this whenever I turn on the radio? All ever hear when I turn on the radio is commercials and songs about butts.

Because these artists are not owned by the people that own the media.
jajajjaja
You bought the wrong radio. You need one with shroon
Because unfortunately people have no taste and only songs about ass really get promoted unfortunately

This is awesome!! I think the Infected Mushroom's live gigs should be this, with the actual performing. It is so intense! Pendulum does it. :)
Infected does perform like this pretty often aswell just saw them like 2 years ago with their live band setup
Nano Saw them this spring with this line up. It was incredible.
Whenever I listen to this, a strange excitement pop on with the begining of first tunes:)
I feel so blessed to have been able to see infected mushroom live twice in my life....and they sound the same live as they do on their albums.

He's a very shy guy. He doesn't mind that Duvdev brings the energy.
Blake Adams maybe the camera crew has no clue :D
