    I received this Mic as a gift, and I love it. I find it to be quite sensitive in the room I'm in, but I love the mute button on the mic, and the option to put headphones on with it. This was an awesome explainer video. subbed!

      But why those it picks up all my pop n noise from my mouth making my recording sound horrible. What can I do using that mic ?

    • @JacobLethbridge
      @JacobLethbridge Рік тому

      @@BestiaDeLosBuhos Look at getting a pop filter. You can find them online for pretty cheap, usually around $20-$30 and this can help with those noises. other than that in post editing you can always take them out (very time consuming though)

    Such a cool video... Thanks for all theses informations. I was wondering: if I record music with the mic connected to my phone filming the scene, is there gonna be latency problems? I just want to record acoustic musical sessions videos. I would greatly appreciate your advice, THANK YOU!!!!

    Got mine today, I have tried recording on my Asus Vivobook 15 but the sound comes out distorted and slightly fast. Yet I can hear my own voice clearly in headphones but the recordings are awful.
    Edit. Never mind, it’s been sorted.

    I already have this mic, and I bought this mic for the purposes of singing karaoke on TikTok. But I haven't found the way yet, so this mic is just a display in my room. Can you provide a tutorial for setting up this usb mic for live streaming purposes

    Does the audio from the computer or phone loop back to the monitoring headphones?

    • @sweetwater
      @sweetwater  3 дні тому

      Hey there! Yes, it certainly does. Whatever device you’re connecting the microphone via USB will be able to both receive audio (from the microphone) and send audio out from the device into the headphone output.
      I hope this helps!

    do you know a pop filter and windscreen that fits this mic?

    • @sweetwater
      @sweetwater  2 роки тому +1

      Hey there! We don’t have any windscreens that would fit right onto this microphone. Fortunately, the design of this mic takes away most needs for any type of pop filter or windscreen. The grill of this microphone is designed to act as a pop filter.
      If you were in a situation where you really needed a pop filter, something like this should do the trick:

    Can I plug multiple AKG Lyra into 1 computer?

    • @sweetwater
      @sweetwater  2 роки тому

      Hello, Rafa! Typically speaking, a computer can only make use of one USB microphone (or USB audio interface) at any given time. That said, there are work arounds.
      This article does a good job at explaining the ways you can use multiple microphones on a computer simultaneously, both via an audio interface and via two USB microphones:

    So I am trying to determine what is best the PreSonus Revelator USB Mic or this one ... I understand that Revelator has built in mixer which is cool but what is best between the two?

    • @BGRecon

      I have the revelator and it is okay I wish I had the lyra to give you a better option. My room is untreated and the revelator does pick up a lot of my room noise.

      @@briancraig1684 thanks for responding mate, I returned mine during the 14 day period I had to get a mic that used less power. Store people think my laptop wasn't giving enough power to it. I'm sure it be fine with a desktop or a mac. May have been buffer/bitrate issues but I am not too tech savvy with that deep stuff. Enjoy the mic, it sounds incredible and looks sweet

      @sweetwater  3 роки тому

      Hey there, thanks for reaching out! You can absolutely use that mic with a phone (Android or iOS), but you would need to provide power to the mic by some other means. You could use something like this, for example, if you're planning on using it with an iPhone:

    How sensitive as a microphone I want to create my own sample libraries can be used for that ?

    • @sweetwater
      @sweetwater  3 роки тому

      Hello, Brian! The Lyra will work great for creating your own sample libraries. By design, it is a condenser, so it will have the sensitivity required to pick up even the most delicate of sound sources.
