I can't believe you haven't seen Avatar in that long, thats crazy. Avatar is, in my opinion not a one and done show. I watched Avatar from beginning to end as it aired and have watched it several times since then

Dude I was so sick of paying for websites to SPECIFICALLY watch Airbender and Korra that I bought the DVDs, I have seen both the shows over 50 times by now and I have zero regrets, can't wait for tthe new show It's been too long

correct if wrong but I thought we were getting 2 shows. One set after korras death rhus following the first avatar after the connection broke. And another following aang and team avatar after the events of the comics

avatar is getting a trilogy of animated films about aang and the gang as adults and i believe another series is in the works but i dont remember what about. and the live action show is getting a s2 and i think s3 too

we are getting movies later on, and there's a Roku novel coming in in the same series as the Kiyoshi and Yangchen ones

there are the comics, books about old avatars, they have announced a series about Aang and the gang when they are older, there has been talk about the Avatar after Kora and something about the first avatar, but I think those two are just rumours.

They're making a live action remake of the show on Netflix (I think) and people say it looks good, so they are doing more with the franchise.
Edit: I'm not crazy, I knew I heard McGwire on my first listen!

The first season is already out. And it does look good, but it missed the point many story arcs except Zoku.
