Found this in an article about Chris: Chris Stapleton wasn’t always going to be a musician. Born into a family of coal miners in Kentucky, far from the bright lights of Nashville, Tennessee, he was a high school football player. Stapleton actually enrolled in Vanderbilt University to study engineering, when his prolific songwriting habit led him to leave for Nashville. Upon arriving in 2001, he quickly picked up a publishing deal for his songs and began fronting various bands.
I am a 60-year-old rock and roll guy. Chris Stapleton is my favorite current musician in the world. His talent is just ridiculous and to top it off he's a A+ human being as well. He deserves every bit of success that comes his way.
This is my favorite of his. The vocals at the end of the second verse are incendiary. Such a blues tune. B.B. King would be proud. Chris is without equal. You do a fabulous job, Britt Reacts! Thanks for your insights, as always.
My favorite live performance of his on YT. Displays both the voice along with the incredible guitar playing abilities. Shoutout to those other 2 members too, they played their roles perfectly to mesh with Chris.
I LOVE that you're on this Chris Stapleton journey. I also wanted to give you a quick shout-out. You have MANY reactions released daily, and it gives us (as the viewer) some variety. Thank you for all the awesome and free content!
This is one of my favorite songs from Chris. The blues in it and the lyrics. Mmm dang it. Great reaction Britt! This one of them. He in the club for a reason 😂
Britt If you want to be blown away watch Chris when he was in a band called The steeldrivers... Not sure of the years he was with them but it is in true Chris fashion. Be safe from Florida
He is a once in a lifetime singer/musician and songwriter...He's the man!!! Wow...he has pure God given talent and mad skills vocally, as well as making that guitar sang...they are one! HE IS MUSIC!!! He connects to your soul with his! Love his whole vibe...emotions, passion, rocker grit, vulnerability and authenticity. It takes a "real" man to be that vulnerable and honest to admit he was wrong and willing to do and say everything, whatever it takes. to rectify that wrong to win her back!!! That's love!
There’s literally no one that can listen to Chris and not have a stank face while doing so lol. He’s INCREDIBLE live. He and his wife Morgane are great together. And the band been together for yeeeears. It’s wonderful to watch live.
Chris is simply a magnificent talent. I enjoy the natural sound of his electric guitar. He normally uses a Fender Jazzmaster electric. He uses Gibson acoustic guitars. 😊
If you want to hear him play some rock. Listen to The Jompson Brothers- on the run. If that song doesn't make you feel like an outlaw and pump you up, you need to check your pulse.
Brit you need to do sometimes I cry by Chris Stapleton at the Bing lounge!! You wanna talk about soul and emotion. Girl your in for a treat Better being your hydration your going to need it!!
Ok you want to watch his live performances which sound better than his recordings. 1. Live impromptu performance of It’s A Man’s, Man’s, Man’s World 🌎 2. Sometimes I Cry 😢 live at the Bing Lounge 3. I Was Wrong live at Austin City Limits 4. Cold 🥶 live at the 2021 CMA 5. Hold On duet with H.E.R. at the CMA’s I think 2020. 6. Medley Duet with Justin Timberlake of Tennessee Whiskey 🥃/I Can’t Drink You Away CMA’s not sure of the year. 7. Live Duet with Jennifer Hudson at some awards show can’t remember the songs. 8. Tennessee Whiskey live performance at Austin City Limits. 9. Official Music Video Fire Away 10. Official Music Video Say Something Duet with Justin Timberlake. 11. You can Google that and get a list of songs and artists. I’m still working on that.
I love watching your reactions. You are correct about his many genres. Bluegrass The Steeldrivers. Rock& Roll The Jompson Brothers. He brings Soul & Blues to everything he does. Try "Fool Me Again" its an older song of his.
I know I'm late AF! This man is in my top 5 favorite artists of all time. Someone played his music to me February of 2024 and haven't looked back since. Incredible
Chris’s song touch people in so many ways and is very relative to our society today. If you wait to hear a song about love but didn’t make the right decision. Then the 2016 artists of the year the song “ Whiskey and You”

He's simply a once in a generation talent! He transcends genre's ❤

Because he’s from The South. If he was from LA, it wouldn’t be the same. The best artists & bands, come from the South.

I would add, he lettered in 6 sports & was the valedictorian of his class.
You're so right. Several distinct genres in one song. Funk, blues, country, rock and naybe a bit of Hendrix, ZZ Top and Prince all rolled up together

It's amazing how 1 man can be so talented. His voice is unmatched and his guitar skills are top level.
Fantastic modern blues song that is already being covered like a standard. So stylized it just evokes a strong response and even more in person.

Love that you can feel the music!!!
Yes electric guitar. Excellent quality

Chris plays is playing a Fender guitar. The shape of the headstock(wood part at the top)and the shape of the body are a standard design.
I recently had an MRI. I hate MRIs. The thing that got me through it was the Lord and Chris Stapleton singing to me through the headphones.
If you want to hear him play some rock. Listen to The Jompson Brothers- on the run. If that song doesn't make you feel like an outlaw and pump you up, you need to check your pulse.
If you want to hear his rocking then listen to his song Arkansas

He’s 100% soul. All in can’t beat this talent all around
He has that Memphis Blues/ Mississippi Delta feel to his music. Fire! Pure Fire! Was the singing better or the guitar? Crazy good.
Thank you for introducing me to this song; and thank you for taking a drink from the jug on camera.
That is how a Man tell the truth ... with all the sorrow he feel
He's one of the only artists I can play and not want to skip a song, alongside Alice in chains, turnpike troubadours and Tyler childers
Amen!!
Britt great vids. Smoken look. Chris Stapleton scar crow in the garden. Keep it up.❤❤
Joy of my Life is a John Fogarty tune Chris re-did.🎙😎👍
Chris Cornell covered Prince on Nothing Compares to You. I'm sure you'll dig both those tunes.

He goes off in this song....
Stank Face at 49 seconds. Happens to us all when listening to Chris. Usually sooner than that. 😂
He's so good he makes me laugh out loud just listening xD Just silly
Give a listen to some of his work when he was with the Bluegrass group The Steeldrivers.
Really nice Chris !!!
Chris's guitar isn't an instrument, it's his back up sober
the question is, will she take him back after that song. Bluesy, funky, and even rocking out.
If she ain't married yet I need to know where to put my application in
Bless ya girl!!
He's the real deal folks!
