Vixx are known as Concept Kings in Kpop. Their mvs are always super aesthetically pleasing and they are very experimental with their sound. Definitly recommend checking out "Voodoo Doll" & "Fantasy" too. Those are some of their more epic ones.
I WAS SO EXCITED FOR YOU GUYS TO DO THIS. VIXX are some concept kings 🤴 as I'm sure you've heard a few times now. A lot of ppl are gonna recommend Voodoo doll and error, but tbh I don't think that's your guys' style or taste (maybe tho), but I can say with pretty damn good certainty you will love The Closer and Scentist. Aah, vixx is one of my favorite groups. To answer your question, yes they are still together (although one member left because of a scandal), but some of the members are in the military right now, so they don’t have any activities a group at the moment. I wasn’t sure if the song would be your vibe, but I’m glad you enjoyed it. Other songs you might like are The Closer, Dynamite, Fantasy, Scentist, Error (this is an older song, but the MV is very storydriven and just iconic) and voodoo doll (also older, warning: the MV is quite graphic and bloody).
I really hope you react to other groups from that time like B.A.P (songs:skydive, that’s my jam, warrior. You already reacted to their song One Shot, but I think these other songs might suit you more) or Infinite (songs: bad, the eye, back). These are the older groups I think you might like more based on your previous reactions (especially B.A.P‘s newer songs).

Yesssss, VIXX, my ult group! No one does it quite like them, and it's doubtful anyone ever will. So many of the current Kpop scene trends owe their existence to them and their willingness to experiment with their sound and concepts. There's a reason they earned the title "Concept Kings" during their tenure. I hope that someday we'll get a full VIXX comeback with all the members reuniting, but even if we don't, what they gave us in their 7 active years was more than enough to earn a place in the Kpop hall of fame among the other greats of the industry. Looking forward to you guys checking more of their music out! Their discography is full of bangers, and I can count on the fingers of one hand the number of their songs that I genuinely do not care for at all.

VIXX is still around, but the members have been doing their military service, so they haven't had any recent releases. Plus, they've had some changes in the group (what happened to Hongbin is ridiculous; he was my bias and the reason I got into K-pop), but they have said they are going to continue as a group even if some of the members are no longer signed with the company. Ravi (the purple-haired, deep-voiced rapper) has a lot of solo stuff, too. I think y'all would like Tuxedo, but a lot of his stuff is good.

Vixx comes from Voice Visual Value in Excelsis. Hugs to my Starlights . Kpop idols are soo good because they spend years training before debut. There are actually hundreds of groups. Most never survive for long.

VIXX is beauty. They debuted almost at the same time EXO did. VIXX are KPop third generation concept performers and one of my all time favorite groups. I love their perfect vocals, their stylish dancing (their main dancer’s stage name is N, and his small dance solo in this song is so lovely), their interesting stories, beautiful concepts, and excellent discography. Unfortunately, they aren’t active as a group right now. Since they’re around the same age range as EXO, the members are also serving in the military or doing solo work.
Love VIXX!! They kind of go under the radar but have been consistent for nearly 10 years now. They are honestly so great though! They all have a lot of side hustles too, both musically and in pretty much every other area of entertainment
Vixx is my favorite group of all time. "Error" is my favorite song, though every song they do is amazing. When "Super Hero" came out I loved them so much and never stopped. It's great to see them get some reaction time.

Yesss VIXX!! They known as concept kings due to their unique detailed and mostly dark concepts. This one was about Heaven in Korean mythology, and the one you talked about " voodoo doll" is about dark magic. A out reacting vixx you should carefull about something. First, Voodoo doll has 2 official mv the original one is 19+ due to horror elements so they had to cut some scenes and made a " clean ver" but this clean ver is just like a dance ver. So, if you react this mv please make sure that is the original one not the clean ver. And since its 19+ be carefull about kids.
About Error, there is a deep storyline so, please pay attention to mv not just song while reacting ( that's my fav mv in kpop btw)
And there is an mv called " Chained up" please try to read the subtitles while reacting this one specially.
There is three mvs " Dynamite, fantasy, the closer" they have a continuation story about Greek Gods because they are on the same project " Conception Trilogy" so, it may be better if you can react these 3 mv in same video.
There is 2 mvs " Hyde mv " and " G.R.8.U. Mv " they are also in same concept ( Jekyll and Hyde) so it would be good if you can react these 2 in same video.
You'll see some thinfs Vixx did and other idols doing these days like wearing Korean traditional clothhes in this mv. When you see this kind of things you can be sure VIXX is the one did that first and made it a fashion in kpop. Like wearing colorful contact lences ( with On & On mv by VIXX), thats why they also known as Trendsetting idols.

VIXX is one of my favourite groups of all time, and I have listened to kpop since 2007. They have great live vocals and dance. I have been to their concert when they came to Toronto and are great performers as well. Here are the members below:
N - Leader, Main Dancer, Lead Vocal @3:30:00 (contemporary dancer)
Leo - Main Vocal, Lead Dancer @2:18:00 (blue robes, second-best vocalist)
Ken - Main Vocal @2:50:00 (tattoo on his right back, best vocalist)
Ravi - Producer, Main Rapper, Lead Dancer @3:45:00 (produces all of VIXX's tracks)
Hongbin - Visual, Main Dancer @2:37:00 (there to look pretty)
Hyuk - Lead Dancer, Lead Vocal, Lead Rapper, Maknae @7:37:00 (maknae = youngest member of the group, calls his seniors 'hyung')
As others have mentioned in previous comments, TVXQ/DBSK is the best vocal group of all time. I recommend watching their Tokyo Dome concert, especially their live performances: 'Love in the Ice' and 'Bolero'.

This particular song by VIXX really REALLY hits different as a live stage because you can hear the fans opening and closing in perfect sync and literally the sound is such a pleasing addition to the track 😩 I miss VIXX sm

One of the best things about Vixx is that the aesthetics are never just aesthetics, there's usually deeper meaning in them tied into their concepts, which is why they're widely acknowledged as "concept kings" in the entertainment industry. Also, Vixx MVs are always open to interpretation but as I understand it, Shangri-La is actually a concept from Asian folklore. It’s a mystical, exotic utopia isolated from the outside world. As a “lost paradise,” some say that it’s a real place that can no longer be accessed or found, or that it's located in another world or that it is actually a place of the imagination/state of tranquil consciousness to be attained through inner exploration. You can see such imagery and symbolism expressed in the MV (e.g. the cut out windows, the two worlds separate and then eclipsed, etc.). The lyrics also reflect aspects of this when applied to love as a state of utopia that they’re trying to reach, and the MV gives off a similar yearning, dream-like quality. Shangri-La is said to be a paradise of nature and vibrant beauty, so the aesthetics and colors used here actually tie in with each member’s birthstones/birth flowers. I think the deer and peach were also used as symbols of longevity in ancient oriental culture. Hope we get to see more Vixx from you guys in the future!

It's painful that people don't recognize them as their peers do. Yes VIXX. I really hope you react to more. VIXX are known as Concept Kings for a reason. They put in a lot of effort into making their concept run through lyrics, choreo, mv, and even outfits and make-up. Error is a great mv to watch for a VIXX beginner. Voodoo Doll is a bit gory, hope whoever suggested it gave you the same warning.
Fantasy is one of my other favourites as it has great classical elements and is really out there/unique.

the practice video of this is also very satisfying with the fans' sounds, VIXX have many amazing concepts and good discography to check out for~ for Shangri-la album, i recommend Black Out (there's a perf on mcountdown one, the choreo is good!) along with INTO THE VOID (the similar vibe to this is probably Fantasy...choreo is amazing, MV is amazing and the song.. just wonderful)
