I just did a huge haul for 2 as a single mom to one child. I spent $187.57 and that has to last us for an entire month basically. I have to remind my child that everything belongs to a meal, so no opening anything. There are snacks and such that can be opened, but the food food all belongs to a daily meal.
**edit** I got things on sale, use coupons and make it all work out great! I cannot even imagine buying for a family of 10... it's hard enough for just us two haha. my child and I have such completely different tastes. ahh. my child loves sea food and I do not at all. I love mexican food and my child would rather not have that. So it's a challenge at times to balance out our tastes in food
I totally understand. I had my first at 16 my second at 19. I was a single mom until I met my husband at 27.
I still do this now, I do things from home that make me extra money. UA-cam, make food items for ppl, sell eggs. I also am a hairstylist, so I work part time. I try to find ways to make extra money.
But when I was single that was hard

I had my first child at 16, so many years of practice. Plus i do lose my patience once and awhile
Hi there don't worry about what people say you should or shouldn't give your kids snacks and things there not paying for it 😉 I say there only kids once let them enjoy with moderation .😊 great grocery haul enjoyed it .question that one small roast is enough for all of you I use 2 for 6 people and it's gone lol

I get this, I have hard working farm kids, that burn calories, and people are like, I can’t believe you let your kids have sweets, chips etc as much as you do….. not only are they farm kids but athletes to and eat health meals and snacks to so a test is fine…

Walmart has their brand of canned vegetables and some tomatoes in 6 or 12 packs cheaper than invidual. I buy them all the time and have them shipped to me.

I could never buy all that much groc at one time not because of price but because putting all those groc away at one time is just an all day job, i prefer to order once a week , and not go crazy trying to pack and freeze all that in one day,
I have children that help! They are amazing at organizing. My kids love helping me. So my load isn’t that big. Plus we have many fridge and freezer to pack it all in!

That many bottles of caramel sauce is just for one month? How much are you all using each time? Lol legit wondering
It’s mainly my husband, he likes his coffee sweet! He froths milk and Carmel and adds a sweet cream to his coffee everyday. Sometimes twice 😃. He doesn’t want to go without lol
I usually have a one or so iced coffee a month. And one of my boys make iced coffee.
Plus we do food storage, so if we don’t use it just stays on our shelf
@10 Kids and a Garage Lol I guess he does like the coffee really sweet then. I use it too but only need a little or it's way too sweet.

I use caramel sauce in my coffee everyday but I used to just buy 1 bottle in the beginning of the month but that would just last only two weeks if that but now I try to bulk the caramel sauce.
Excellent grocery haul. As far as snacks. I don’t think people understand a box of 40 will last 4 days if each child has one. Who cares though.

Can you write off your grocery bills since it's a big part of your business? I heard others do but dont know for sure. It'd be nice.
We asked! And we can’t. We only can write off things we use for recipes.
