They were really apologetic and explained that the gate had been left open for 5 minutes as they were awaiting a family to return home. They once again offered to pay for any Veterinary fees when Justin went over there to chat. We didn’t take Bibi to the vet. We can only hope they keep their dogs indoors when their main gate needs to be opened. You never know who else would be walking by….scary!

Her wiggle but is one of the cutest things I’ve ever seen! She also brings us shoes when we come home or when she wants to go out for a walk. So cute. do you have a pet?

Dave's family lives in either Michigan or his mom lives with a sister in Atlanta. We usually get together with friends here. Flying during the holidays always sounds terrible. We will go to Atlanta in February for his mom's birthday, and all his 4 sisters will be there with family. Since Thanksgiving is not a German thing, I am not missing family. It's nice to have a couple extra days off, though. It is probably good that I am allergic to alcohol, otherwise I would probably turn into an alcoholic the next 4 years. Enjoy the last days of autumn. Here, it's been raining mostly last weeks.But that's typical for Seattle. I had more than 100 kids come to my house on Halloween, despite the pouring rain. It's always fun. 😊

That just kills me. I wonder how many others have had the same encounters with these vicious dogs!? They tried to kill Laffy! What would they do to a child!? Good grief. The dehumidifiers could definitely be more stylish-lace might be a fun touch! It’s such a relief Brebis is okay, though the heartache from seeing her shaken up is tough. It’s shocking how aggressive some dogs can be, and it does raise concerns about safety.

When Laffy was attacked they had to report it to their home insurance company. We decided not to pursue it this second as they have been keeping their dogs in their yard as promised. They used to roam the countryside freely! The gate was left open for only 5 minutes as someone was returning home. I’m sure now, the dogs will be kept indoors if they need to leave the gate open. A very unfortunate mishap. 3 strikes and they are out!
@@Frenchcountryfriends I would definitely report to law enforcement. I made it 5 decades without being bitten by a dog when my neighbors dog bit my ankle. If the bite breaks the skin, the city picks up the dog and keeps it for a week for testing. I found out I was about the 5th person this dog had bitten and I reported it. Not sure what the laws are like in France but here I think this wouldn’t be taken lightly.
Oh brebi. That’s so frustrating and scary. I wish you were near by to us. She just needs to meet a kind friend to get her confidence. Just one friend will help her. Is their a Staffy club near you. Find a super friendly old Staffy friend. I so want to help Brebs.
Us too! Would be nice to have some friends with dogs we can socialize her with. I’m seriously considering getting some professional help, her fear of dogs is public problem…but I know it takes time, I’m learning her bubble…
Oh my goodness, how stressful and traumatizing to go through a second attack. At least your girl is brave. Thinking about sweet little Laffy, how scared he certainly was. Incredible people don’t understand they have to have their dogs trained and controlled for their own good. Don’t know how things are in France. Here in Norway, if my dog is attacked and hurt by another uncontrolled and untrained dog, and I go to the veterinary for a health report and take it to the police to make a complain, there’s a chance the attacker dog future is under risk as the police will consider euthanizing the attacker dog. Horrible, I know, but the rules for having a dog are very strict here. Can’t wait to browse and do some window shop on your new Etsy shop Justin, good luck to you…
Thank you for writing us, do you have dog(s)? We could request a criminal sanction but after the first attack they no longer allowed their dog to run free in the neighborhood. They kept their promise. With second “minor” attack I’m sure they will make certain that the dogs are inside the house if they have to leave the gate open for any period of time. Surely it’s an isolated incident. We walk down the street often enough to know that the dogs are secured behind a locked gate. Still scary. I won’t walk by for a while. Justin says he “hopes you enjoy color and that he’ll upload more items as the week progresses… Have a nice weekend and stay well in Norway!
So sorry to hear about your dog encounter its terrifying isnt it? My little Bichon was attached by a Dalmation who tore her back leg out of socket, the owners of that dog had to pay the vets bills and have their dog muzzled.

@ I had a Pug (Tank), who passed in July age 17. Before that, a cat who passed age 19. Tank was the sweetest dog, he loved to army crawl.
Our animals are so precious. It is so hard to see them get hurt. So glad he is ok
